Was such an experience!!! Claire was amazing and answered all my questions. Pasquale drove very good we felt very safe! Chris was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable and very friendly! Can’t wait to come again and book another tour!!

Claire helped plan our special day and answered all of my many questions pre booking instantly. We were unable to visit the Tulum ruins due to COVID so instead she arranged a boat tour to see them from the water. It was beautiful. After seeing the ruins went did snorkeling and seen many fish, sting rays and even a sea turtle. She then helped a choose a Cenote and her guidance did not disappoint. The one we toured was breathtaking. Her insight on the whole area was also so informative and made the day exciting. The lunch provided was one of the best meals we had all week. Can’t wait to visit the area again and book another tour.

From the moment we booked our tour, Claire was on top of communications and very responsive if I had questions. The snorkeling with turtles (and some fish and stingrays) was amazing, and my 6-year-old had such a good time. Swimming in a cenote is something you can't miss if you visit this region. It was truly magical. While there are still some landmarks closed due to the Coronavirus, there were still plenty of private tour options for us to choose from. We will definitely be back and booking another tour!

This was worth every penny! Personal private attention from the moment they pick you up at the door. Cenotes are breathtaking! Guide and driver were friendly and informative. Msking resevations was simple. Owner is fantastic. Cant say enough. Lunch was pretty fantastic too!

Claire gave us a private tour of Cenote Sac Actun and it was amazing!! He was extremely knowledgeable, came prepared with all the gear, and helped us to pick a Cenote to explore that was perfect for the rainy day we had. Having a private tour was so much better than going with a large commercial tour company, and we were able to see parts of the Cenote that are not accessible to all tour guides. I highly recommend this group!

First of all I have to say thank you to Chris, Pascual, and Claire who worked so hard to make our tours happen during this difficult time. We wanted to do this tour, but did not think it would happen. The Turtle Experience in Akumal opened the day before due to the pandemic and they made it happen for us. They were early to pick us up, we arrived and were virtually the only tourists there. We saw at least ten turtles as well as barracuda and other marine life. After we swam in a beautiful lagoon where we saw numerous ocean fish as well as many birds. We had a wonderful lunch, which Chris (our tour guide) joined us. These are wonderful people who are so passionate and just fun to be with. If you want an amazing unforgettable tour contact them and you will not be disappointed.

Our family of 10 spent the day with Chris and his team at Absolute Adventure Mexico today! We had a wonderful time, and our adult children's are still raving about how much fun they had!I booked a tour online, and almost immediately Claire started emailing me back and forth to confirm details for our day. We had selected visiting Tulum, reef snorkeling and visiting a cenote. Claire let me know right away that Tulum was closed due to Covid 19 to all visitors, so she adjusted the price.We were picked up promptly at 8:30 a.m. at our rented home. We drove into Tulum and they took us by boat along the coast so we could see the Tulum ruins from the water side, and they were beautiful! Then off to the reef for snorkeling, which included beautiful fish and a sting ray! From snorkeling we had a wonderful lunch where we could order off the menu and then off to a closed cenote. The water was cool, and the caves amazing!There are multiple reasons I highly recommend Absolute Adventure Mexico: 1) They were extremely responsive and professional 2) Our group of 10 had a completely private tour from start to finish, including great narratives from our tour guides and drivers 3) We did not feel rushed and we were completely relaxed 4) They adhered to all safely measures during Covid by taking our temperature, wearing masks, using hand sanitizing, etc. 5) The drivers were courteous and the vans clean 6) Cold drinks (soda, water, beer) were provided in the vans.Don't book an overcrowded tourist tour. Look no further! Absolute Adventure Mexico's tour will be the talk of your trip!!

Unfortunately our adventure has been postponed, due to Covid closures, but I can't say enough about how impressed I am with the professionalism and communication from Absolute Adventure Mexico. Between scheduling, postponing the first time (in April) and then having to postpone a second time (in July) we have exchanged quite a few emails. Every email has been responded to very promptly, with zero hassles, confusion or issues... Claire has been wonderful to deal with. We are looking forward to the day when we get to actually go on their adventure tour, once the world regains its senses, lol.

The best excursion I've ever been on! Our group (4 of us) booked a private chichen itza tour with a stop for lunch and shopping in Valladolid. We were picked up right on time (6a) at hour hotel (Hard Rock Rivieria Maya) and we stopped at a local convience store to grab a small breakfast-on-the-go (paid for by Absolute Adventure). Then we hit the road for a 2-3 hour trek to the site. Our tour guide was awesome, he was kind and friendly and read the room well. We were tired from getting up early so he let us sleep with no distractions for a portion of the drive. When we were finally awake, he was talkative and told us stories and great info about the areas we were passing through. He taught us some fun Spanish words and phrases. He was just awesome, not sure how else to describe the experience with him. This is the best part, as we arrive at chichen itza he explains that he is going to get out before us to get to the front of the ticket line and our driver will escort us up to the waiting area. We didn't have to wait in line for tickets or anything!!! He took care of all the accommodations at the site and we were literally the first people into the site! We got so many great pictures and because we were the first in there was no crowds to ruin the pictures! He took us through the whole site (which is way more than just the temple) and gave us some awesome info and history that was fascinating! It was so cool to see some of things we learned about in grade school. The site and tour were top notch and I'm so glad that we choose Absolute Adventure and a private tour, it was so worth it! And our guide went way above and beyond, on our way back to the hotel in the evening we explained to him that we were having trouble buying SIM cards (for cell service) at the gas stations and asked him if he would be willing to help. He had no problem helping us and stopped at a gas station on the way back and help us get sorted with SIM cards and applicable service plan! We were so grateful as it was extremely difficult to do without knowing the language. Tour guide and driver were simply awesome and I can't recommend this company enough.

Amazing day with Manuel touring Tulum and Coba! He was a wonderful guide and lots of fun to be around. He took some amazing photos of our family and we enjoyed a wonderful lunch together. So glad we took the private tour - very worth it!

My husband, myself and 3 young adult children went on the private archaeological tour to Coba and Tulum Mayan ruins. Everything was perfect and as advertised. Pick up at hotel was seamless. Early Tulum entry was much appreciated, having been there before in the crowds. This was my first time to Coba and it was the highlight of the trip. The Tour guide was very informative and answered all my questions about Mayan and Mexican history/geography. He was a wonderful host and took wonderful pictures of family. Definitely Excellent trip.

If you are hesitant about the cost of booking a private tour- let me reassure you, I was as well. With that being said this was the best decision I made during this holiday. Our guide Jose and driver Willie were waiting for us in the lobby before our pickup time. It was just my partner and I and we all meshed together really well!

FANTASTIC! Our guide Manuel was tri-lingual, extremely knowledgeable, interesting and has a wonderful sense of humor! We had the ruins mostly to ourselves and we spent as much time as we needed to get every picture and every question answered. The Cenote was fabulous! Clear cool water, bats in the cave and again we had the place almost all to ourselves. Lunch here in the jungle was some of the best Mexican food we have ever eaten. Then we were off to the beach to snorkel with turtles we saw 5....big ones but also one little cute young turtle. The beach was beautiful and we were exhausted from all the fun and excitement so we packed it in early and Manuel obliged and we were able to take our time coming off the beach and heading back to our resort. Pasquale our driver was an excellent chauffeur and stayed with our belongs and kept them safe. We felt privileged as he is of Mayan descent and speaks the Maya language as well as Spanish. Our guide Manuel and us learned a new fact of how Playa del Carmen was named from Pasquale and we all delighted in this new tidbit. He picked us up curb side and had refreshments at the ready! It was a spectacular day...we had planned to make this our last trip to the Yuccatan but we are now planning to return and do an alternate tour with the company!

Right from the start our driver and guide(Juan & Rodrigo) were amazing!They were sure the entire day we were safe, comfortable and ready for what the day would bring. The Coba ruins were incredible and the experience the very informative. I cannot stress enough how awe-inspring being able to see and touch the ruins was. Our guide was informative and had an answer for any question we had. After the ruins it was a quick trip to the cenote. They had extra gear to make sure our swimming experience went perfectly. The lunch after was the best food I've had all week too! Thank you all so much for helping provide this experience, especially to Juan and Rodrigo who were extremely nice and personable. 100% would do this again.

We took the Tulum/Cenote/Turtle tour in February 2020 with a 5-year old. The locations were all amazing, and our guide, Hector, and driver, Omar, were fantastic. We loved being in a private group and the flexibility that entailed. Highly recommended.

Booking a private tour was more expensive but worth it. Juan and the driver, Willie picked us up at 730am. It was just my boyfriend and I and Juan’s personality meshed perfectly with ours so the ride to Tulum was not awkward or boring. We arrived at the ruins before it was busy and bypassed the line because we already had tickets. Our tour guide shared the myths and truths about Mayan culture and made us laugh along the way. He knew the best spots for the best picture and was happy to take some for us. After the ruins we had a choice of 3 cenotes to choose from... I chose the more beautiful one as my boyfriend wasn’t participating in this. Again it was only me and one other person in the cenote. It was a truly peaceful and wonderful experience. We had an authentic Mexican lunch after and then headed to akumal beach to swim with the turtles. It was well worth the money to have a one on one guide and get in to the places before it got busy. Juan was great... it felt like being with a friend from home.

I have booked multiple private tours in the past and this one has now jumped to the top of best ever. We have visited Coba before, but this was the first time for one of the people in our party. There were 2 adults and 3 young adults. I am a diver and have dove probably 20 different Cenotes in Mexico. The rest of the group are non divers and have never seen a Cenote. The day started early 6:45 am pick up Manuel (the guide) and Rodrigo (the driver) arrived on time. After introductions and a description of the day off we went. Manuel had a goal for the day first to see Nohuch Mul the largest temple at Coba and to visit to Cenotes before the crowds.

We hired a private tour for three and had Manuel as well as pasqual as a driver. Very informative guide and pace was dictated by a handicap. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire day and cost was appropriate for the service. Highly recommend this small group for tours.

Wow, where to start. This tour was the best! We had Juan as our guide and Willie as our driver, both of them were phenomenal. We did the Coba and snorkeling tour and added on the excursion to akumal to see the turtles, they were super accommodating in creating a custom tour for us. Juan was HILARIOUS and awesome, we had super great chats and he tailored the historical info at the ruins to match our knowledge level and my interests in Mayan culture. We were the first to get in the ruins and we felt like we had the whole site to ourselves practically. Snorkeling in the cenotes was awesome as well, we had the whole cenote to ourselves at one point and it was magical. Lunch was fun, it felt like we were just hanging with our friend and chatting while eating. The trip to Akumal was amazing, seeing sea turtles in their habitats was just glorious. Honestly, this tour was the highlight of our time in Mexico and I'm so happy we booked and got to experience the tour with Juan! Highly, HIGHLY recommended!

We booked this tour for our family f 11 (6 adults; 5 kids 3-15) based upon the Tripadvisor reviews. We were not disappointed, we were pleased in every way. Our guide Hector and the driver Rodrigo did an awesome job dealing with a large and varied group. Hector got to know each of us as best he could in a short time, he made special efforts to deal directly with each of the kids as well. Hector was extremely knowledgeable and patient. His descriptions of Tuluum were interesting and the historical references added greatly to the experience. The Cenote and zipline were a highlight for the kids...especially the 3 year old who loved flying over the trees. It was a pretty rough day at the snorkeling sight with wind and waves but again the guides made it as easy for us as they could. Even with the turbidity of the waters we were able to see Turtles, fish and rays.

We had a great tour of 3 cenotes with Juan Diaz this week. Our transportation was smooth, all equipment was provided, Juan’s advice in choosing 3 cenotes was helpful, and his guidance was fantastic. Highly recommend this tour!

We had a wonderful experience with Juan and Pascual! There was a group of 10 of us. The transportation was perfect for the drive and included waters, beers, sodas etc. We had a very organized and fun day snorkeling in the cenotes and then we enjoyed the zip line and jumping into the water. We had lots of pictures taken! The lunch is really good and a fun experience! Would definitely recommend and do it again.

My family visits Mexico frequently and have gone on all sorts of "excursions" from the resort. This visit, we received a recommendation to try a private tour and we found Absolute Adventure. The experience far surpassed any group tour we have ever been on. Juan was our guide and he is exceptionally engaging. Even the drive time to get to the various destinations was fun and informative.
