Review is from 2 years ago. Our group of four took a private tour to Chitchen Itza, Cenotes. Wanted to avoid the bus crowd and get an early start due. Reading the reviews, I felt very confident in this company. We got to have a new adventure on our vacation and felt we were in good hands during this time. They were professional and extremely knowledgeable of the area. Following our tours, We had a delicious authentic Mexican meal at a local restaurant. Before heading back to the hotel, a small amount of time was allotted at the end of the trip to tour the small town. Our entire group felt the personal tour guide made the trip and it was money well spent. Highly recommend this group and would use them in the future.

My wife and I went just yesterday to Dos Ojos with Claire and her driver Juan Manuel. They were super friendly, informative, and excellent at guiding us through the Cenotes. We were about to have the entire Cenote to ourselves which was extremely special and intimate. After we left, there were so many people there which wouldn’t have been nearly is great.

If you are looking for a private tour to any of the Mayan Ruins or other adventures I highly recommend Absolute Adventure Mexico. They provided the best service, super knowledgable guide, and they made it an amazing experience. This week we did the Tulum and Cenote tour one day and then the Coba and Monkey Sanctuary tour. We got to eat authentic food and shop in the Mayan villages. They know the best times to go to not have huge crowds and the private tours are super affordable. I can't say enough great things about this company. We had Claire and Pascal. We can't thank them enough for the amazing experience!

Claire (guide/owner) and Pasquale (driver) were waiting at entrance to hotel before our meet time. Had a wonderfully timed plan for the day taking advantage of early arrivals to get ahead of the crowds. Claire had great knowledge of the Tulum site and brought prepared printed information that perfectly and visually complimented her explanations. Cenote tours were hand picked wonderful sites that were nearly free of other visitors. Claire had connected relationships with site and restaurant owners. Lunch was culturally authentic and we were treated well by owners with extra treats and add ons during lunch and the rest of the day. Sites were amazing, first time in a lifetime kind of experiences

The knowledge and friendliness of the team. We had so much fun in Tulum we booked a second at Coba. We got to buy hand carved statues from local Mayan shaman. Absolutely the best.

Incredible tour. We’ve never been to Mexico and went to Tulum for our honeymoon. We chose the ruins and Cenote tour and LOVED it. Our tour guide was awesome- he spoke perfect fluent English (and was also extremely proficient in Spanish along with other languages as well). He was so friendly and personable. Arrived on time and was prepared. They provided a driver who watched our things at all times. The lunch was delicious and filling, coming with alcoholic or regular drinks of your choice. We will definitely be using this reliable and efficient company in the future! Worth every penny.

We had an amazing trip and this was the highlight. We went to 2 cenotes, one open and one cave. There weren’t many other people around due to Covid, so it was nice and quiet. The guide, driver, and the two of us wore masks in the van when we couldn’t socially distance. Our guide took several pictures for us while we were swimming. The lunch was great too! I would highly recommend this tour.

Vacationing in time of Covid is hard (!) but Absolute Adventure is a bright spot. We booked a private tour to Chichen Itza with a trip to Valladolid, which were both unfortunately closed during our stay. Thankfully, we only had to put down a 10% deposit at time of booking on a cost that was already the absolute BEST among all agents. The week before we depart for Mexico, everything was clouded in uncertainties as the sites couldn't quite make up their minds on whether to reopen. However, Claire the owner kept us informed the entire time and even went as far as checking all other sites where they operate. When it became clear that the sites were not reopening, she promptly refunded our deposit. I know for sure that next time we travel to Mexico, we will book a tour with Absolute Adventure. Save yourself the trouble of endless Googling and go with them, you won't regret it!

We had a wonderful private tour of two cenotes that also included a yummy lunch. Our guide Chris and our driver Pascual were both very kind. They took all the precautions for Covid-19 and we felt very safe. Can’t wait to visit Tulum again and book another tour!

After seeing the ruins went did snorkeling and seen many fish, sting rays and even a sea turtle. She then helped a choose a Cenote and her guidance did not disappoint. The one we toured was breathtaking. Her insight on the whole area was also so informative and made the day exciting. The lunch provided was one of the best meals we had all week. Can’t wait to visit the area again and book another tour.

From the moment we booked our tour, Claire was on top of communications and very responsive if I had questions. The snorkeling with turtles (and some fish and stingrays) was amazing, and my 6-year-old had such a good time. Swimming in a cenote is something you can't miss if you visit this region. It was truly magical. While there are still some landmarks closed due to the Coronavirus, there were still plenty of private tour options for us to choose from. We will definitely be back and booking another tour!

This was worth every penny! Personal private attention from the moment they pick you up at the door. Cenotes are breathtaking! Guide and driver were friendly and informative. Msking resevations was simple. Owner is fantastic. Cant say enough. Lunch was pretty fantastic too!

Claire gave us a private tour of Cenote Sac Actun and it was amazing!! He was extremely knowledgeable, came prepared with all the gear, and helped us to pick a Cenote to explore that was perfect for the rainy day we had. Having a private tour was so much better than going with a large commercial tour company, and we were able to see parts of the Cenote that are not accessible to all tour guides. I highly recommend this group!

First of all I have to say thank you to Chris, Pascual, and Claire who worked so hard to make our tours happen during this difficult time. We wanted to do this tour, but did not think it would happen. The Turtle Experience in Akumal opened the day before due to the pandemic and they made it happen for us. They were early to pick us up, we arrived and were virtually the only tourists there. We saw at least ten turtles as well as barracuda and other marine life. After we swam in a beautiful lagoon where we saw numerous ocean fish as well as many birds. We had a wonderful lunch, which Chris (our tour guide) joined us. These are wonderful people who are so passionate and just fun to be with. If you want an amazing unforgettable tour contact them and you will not be disappointed.

Our family of 10 spent the day with Chris and his team at Absolute Adventure Mexico today! We had a wonderful time, and our adult children's are still raving about how much fun they had!I booked a tour online, and almost immediately Claire started emailing me back and forth to confirm details for our day. We had selected visiting Tulum, reef snorkeling and visiting a cenote. Claire let me know right away that Tulum was closed due to Covid 19 to all visitors, so she adjusted the price.We were picked up promptly at 8:30 a.m. at our rented home. We drove into Tulum and they took us by boat along the coast so we could see the Tulum ruins from the water side, and they were beautiful! Then off to the reef for snorkeling, which included beautiful fish and a sting ray! From snorkeling we had a wonderful lunch where we could order off the menu and then off to a closed cenote. The water was cool, and the caves amazing!There are multiple reasons I highly recommend Absolute Adventure Mexico: 1) They were extremely responsive and professional 2) Our group of 10 had a completely private tour from start to finish, including great narratives from our tour guides and drivers 3) We did not feel rushed and we were completely relaxed 4) They adhered to all safely measures during Covid by taking our temperature, wearing masks, using hand sanitizing, etc. 5) The drivers were courteous and the vans clean 6) Cold drinks (soda, water, beer) were provided in the vans.Don't book an overcrowded tourist tour. Look no further! Absolute Adventure Mexico's tour will be the talk of your trip!!

Unfortunately our adventure has been postponed, due to Covid closures, but I can't say enough about how impressed I am with the professionalism and communication from Absolute Adventure Mexico. Between scheduling, postponing the first time (in April) and then having to postpone a second time (in July) we have exchanged quite a few emails. Every email has been responded to very promptly, with zero hassles, confusion or issues... Claire has been wonderful to deal with. We are looking forward to the day when we get to actually go on their adventure tour, once the world regains its senses, lol.

The best excursion I've ever been on! Our group (4 of us) booked a private chichen itza tour with a stop for lunch and shopping in Valladolid. We were picked up right on time (6a) at hour hotel (Hard Rock Rivieria Maya) and we stopped at a local convience store to grab a small breakfast-on-the-go (paid for by Absolute Adventure). Then we hit the road for a 2-3 hour trek to the site. Our tour guide was awesome, he was kind and friendly and read the room well. We were tired from getting up early so he let us sleep with no distractions for a portion of the drive. When we were finally awake, he was talkative and told us stories and great info about the areas we were passing through. He taught us some fun Spanish words and phrases. He was just awesome, not sure how else to describe the experience with him. This is the best part, as we arrive at chichen itza he explains that he is going to get out before us to get to the front of the ticket line and our driver will escort us up to the waiting area. We didn't have to wait in line for tickets or anything!!! He took care of all the accommodations at the site and we were literally the first people into the site! We got so many great pictures and because we were the first in there was no crowds to ruin the pictures! He took us through the whole site (which is way more than just the temple) and gave us some awesome info and history that was fascinating! It was so cool to see some of things we learned about in grade school. The site and tour were top notch and I'm so glad that we choose Absolute Adventure and a private tour, it was so worth it! And our guide went way above and beyond, on our way back to the hotel in the evening we explained to him that we were having trouble buying SIM cards (for cell service) at the gas stations and asked him if he would be willing to help. He had no problem helping us and stopped at a gas station on the way back and help us get sorted with SIM cards and applicable service plan! We were so grateful as it was extremely difficult to do without knowing the language. Tour guide and driver were simply awesome and I can't recommend this company enough.
