This trip is awesome. Yes, you start early, but it's worth it when you are first in line to get in. We were the first ones to the large pyramid, and have tons of pictures with no one else in them. It is also nice to be leaving Chichen Itza before it gets too hot. Juan was extremely well versed in the history of the site and is great at communicating the info. As other people have said, it is literally like going on a tour with a friend. The cenotes after were really cool, and lunch was awesome. Claire was amazingly flexible with our travel plans as they kept changing due to COVID. I really can't say enough good things about them.

We took the Tulum and Tortuga tour with JJ (Juan). It was absolutely amazing! JJ was so accommodating and made us all so excited to be there. He was super knowledgeable about the ruins and the whole Rivera Maya area. My mom is very scared of the ocean and he made her comfortable enough to go in and brought her back to shore halfway through to make sure she felt safe. We never thought she would even go in! The lunch was awesome and he told us the best things to order and best drinks. He made this experience the highlight of our entire Mexico trip!

Every aspect of Absolute Adventures was amazing! I am so happy we found this tour group for our January 2021 Cancun vacation! Claire was so helpful when booking our tours and was super accommodating. She also responded quickly to our emails when we had questions. Our two tours with Juan and Rodrigo were the highlight of our trip! We had the best time. They were friendly and went out of their way for us during our tours. Absolute adventures gives great recommendations for when to start your tour so that you beat the crowds of people. Both days we were the very first group of people at popular attractions and were able to tour them more peacefully and get great photos. Juan told us cultural/historical facts during our tours and also was super nice about taking pictures of our group for us. Rodrigo kept the bus and the equipment super clean and had everything ready to go all of the time! We loved lunch at the two different spots included in our tours and thought this was a nice option over other tours I researched that only included a “box lunch.” They also had drinks for us in the van. Absolute Adventures takes precautions for covid and we loved that these were private tours of just our family. We loved our tours and can’t wait to visit again!

On December 30th, 2020 we took a private tour of the Mayan Ruins in Tulum, reef snorkel, cenote snorkel and lunch. Our tour guide, Dulce and driver, Pasqual picked us up right at our hotel warmly greeted us while providing optimal social distancing - as this was during the time of Covid-19. I can't say enough how much this tour was simply just the highlight of our stay in Quintana Roo. Dulce was so incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Imagine for a second that you are visiting your best friend in Mexico - and she wants to show you the town - this is exactly what it felt like. She assisted in taking photos and videos of us, and showed us the optimum places to take them. I feel that Dulce and Pasqual went above and beyond when it was determined that the reef snorkeling was not ideal due to the wind. Dulce provided us with an alternative - to snorkel with the Sea Turtles. She even called her connection to ensure that the turtles were at the bay before making sure that this was the right thing to do. The professionalism, tour, food, and the service from Dulce and Pasqual was unlike any tour I have ever taken in my life. I would highly recommend Absolute Adventure Mexico for any sight seeing needs. Huge thank you to Claire for your impeccable communication - she assisted us with some last minute changes. Dulce and Pasqual, Thank you for such an awesome day.

We did a tour with Absolute Adventures to Tulum, Nicte-Ha ceynote and Akumal beach to swim with sea turtles. Dulce was our guide and she was extremely professional and knowledgeable and very nice to spend the day with. Our driver Pascual was safe on the roads. The ceynote was a very cool experience but Akumal blew us away, we saw so many sea turtles so close up, as well as two species of rays and countless fish. Cannot recommend this tour company highly enough, they did everything right!

Our guides, Manuel and Pascual were knowledgable, accommodating, and made it wonderfully fun for all of us. The cenotes are not to be missed!

We had a wonderful experience with Juan and Pascual! There was a group of 10 of us. The transportation was perfect for the drive and included waters, beers, sodas etc. We had a very organized and fun day snorkeling in the cenotes and then we enjoyed the zip line and jumping into the water. We had lots of pictures taken! The lunch is really good and a fun experience! Would definitely recommend and do it again.

Claire was a pleasure to work with and so knowledgeable with choosing a customizable experiencing for my family. By choosing to do both open and closed cenotes, we were able to get the best of both worlds... equally as beautiful. In addition, this was a rescheduled trip from the pandemic closures and was so easy to rebook for a smaller group. Claire also went above and beyond checking and reassuring us because of potential issues with the weather. Our guide for the day, Dulce, was friendly, patient, helpful, and answered all our questions. A great way to experience Tulum! We were in Akumal for a wedding and recommended Absolute Adventure to everyone.... which I know Claire was able to accommodate last minute for another group a day or two later. Thank you so much for a great addition to our Mexico trip!

We have done several tours with Absolute Adventure- we always have very high expectations and they are consistently exceeded. If you're doing a tour in the area, Claire is absolutely the only option to have the best experience.

Great tour. They picked us up from the Airbnb we were at on time. We had a fun time at the ruins. Swimming with turtles was so awesome. Saw some stingrays too. Relaxing and snorkeling by the cenote was also a great experience. Our guide Dulce did an amazing job and was super friendly! All around great time!

We booked this tour for our family f 11 (6 adults; 5 kids 3-15) based upon the Tripadvisor reviews. We were not disappointed, we were pleased in every way. Our guide Hector and the driver Rodrigo did an awesome job dealing with a large and varied group. Hector got to know each of us as best he could in a short time, he made special efforts to deal directly with each of the kids as well. Hector was extremely knowledgeable and patient. His descriptions of Tuluum were interesting and the historical references added greatly to the experience. The Cenote and zipline were a highlight for the kids...especially the 3 year old who loved flying over the trees. It was a pretty rough day at the snorkeling sight with wind and waves but again the guides made it as easy for us as they could. Even with the turbidity of the waters we were able to see Turtles, fish and rays.

This was our first private tour. It was also our first visit to Coba and to the cenotes. Private is the way to go! Our guide was great! We got to Coba before the rest of the tours and rode our bikes in. No one around and the sites and sounds to ourselves. Amazing!

Our guide Claire was amazing! Her and Pascal showed up on time an were so friendly! She took us all around the ruins telling us the history, taking photos of us and for us. It was for my wife’s birthday so Claire made it so special. The cenote was so beautiful and refreshing. An the lunch was at a authentic Mayan Mexican restaurant. Claire took care of everything for us from start to finish. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a personalized trip!! It was all so worth it.

It was just my boyfriend and I and Juan’s personality meshed perfectly with ours so the ride to Tulum was not awkward or boring. We arrived at the ruins before it was busy and bypassed the line because we already had tickets. Our tour guide shared the myths and truths about Mayan culture and made us laugh along the way. He knew the best spots for the best picture and was happy to take some for us. After the ruins we had a choice of 3 cenotes to choose from... I chose the more beautiful one as my boyfriend wasn’t participating in this. Again it was only me and one other person in the cenote. It was a truly peaceful and wonderful experience. We had an authentic Mexican lunch after and then headed to akumal beach to swim with the turtles. It was well worth the money to have a one on one guide and get in to the places before it got busy. Juan was great... it felt like being with a friend from home.

If you are hesitant about the cost of booking a private tour- let me reassure you, I was as well. With that being said this was the best decision I made during this holiday. Our guide Jose and driver Willie were waiting for us in the lobby before our pickup time. It was just my partner and I and we all meshed together really well!
