We had a great tour with Alex, Claire and Omar. We had a very early start but it was worth it to get to Chichen Itza before the crowds. Alex and Claire were really knowledgable and great to talk to about the history of the Mayans. The tour is relaxed and you’re able to spend as much time as you want on the different parts of the tour. Would really recommend this to anyone who wants a more personalised experience!

Juan, our tour guide and Omar, our driver, were absolutely amazing! They provided a private tour of Chichen Itza, the Cenote and Valladolid. We enjoyed a delicious traditional Mexican lunch at Atrio. Juan was very knowledgeable and will definitely request them on any future travels to Cancun. We highly recommend them.

Our favorite excursion of our trip! Easy communication with the tour company throughout the entire process, and 100% worth the price to have our own private tour. Claire was our tour guide & she was outstanding. Very knowledgeable about Tulum, the cenote, and Playa in general. She knew where to get the best photos and how to maximize your experience. Being able to leave our bags with Angel (the driver) in the van was an added bonus. Tulum was beautiful, but the cenote (we chose Dos Ojos) was in a class all on its own. Gorgeous clear water, perfect for snorkeling. Claire swam with us and took all the photos we wanted. Lunch & a nice chat afterward at the lunch in the jungle was a wonderful bonus. We would take this excursion again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely the best decision we made while visiting the Cancun area. Our drivers were spectacular, and Juan 100% made our vacation. We chose private because dealing with large tour buses and guides that have dozens of people means you spend a lot of time waiting and miss a lot of info. Going with Absolute Adventures means you get to experience local culture and history much more intimately and in-depth. We got to experience three separate tours with Juan. When you choose Absolute Adventure, I hope you get Juan as your guide! He had personal relationships with the people everywhere we went. He was able to relate to each of our family members in our own way. Best of all, Juan was knowledgeable, more than happy to answer any and all questions and you could feel his passion and love for his country's history and sharing it. The entire day was very smooth and fun. Our tour guide, Alex García was very informative and entertaining throughout the entire trip. He also gave us our own time and space to enjoy what we were doing.

Booked this for my honeymoon. Juan was our guide for this, did xplorer park the day before for reference so we were pretty tired. Juan went at our own pace as we were slow to move along. The 1st stop was to the ruins which are quite a scene if you have never seen anything like this before it’s worth a look. There is a bit of a walk so wear comfortable shoes. They also provided refreshments immediately. After the ruins we stopped at the shops so if you forgot something you can get it there and save yourself a cab ride and fare beforehand. After the ruins we went to the cave cenote( I mentioned earlier I went to xplorer ) this by far was head and shoulders above anything I saw the day before. Water was refreshing and clean snorkeling gear was provided for use. We wrapped up the trip on my own schedule as he provided my and my new wife some alone time in the cave. Once we completed this we went to a nearby restaurant. The food was great and the best tacos I’ve had in Mexico so far. We took tons of photos and rode back comfortably. This is worth the money and exclusivity compared to the larger groups. If you value time this is a no brainer.

Highly recommend this tour and this company. Our guide Alex Garcia was faultless. His knowledge of Tulum, including where to get the best photos (which he was only too happy to take for us) was second to none. He also had a tablet which he used to explain Mayan history to us with visuals while we were driving to the ruins. He was so careful with us in the cenote and made sure we were safe and didn’t slip as we entered, and he made sure we were okay out snorkelling on the reef and with the turtles. He was even the reason we saw one of the three turtles, as he spotted it before the snorkelling guide. Our driver Omar also nailed the timing all day. We barely had to wait 30 seconds for him to pull the van up. We also got chilled drinks all day, and stopped at a delicious restaurant for an included lunch.

We had an amazing morning at Dos Ojos with Arturo! Arturo was incredibly knowledgeable and a fantastic guide. He brought us in the morning before anyone else was there - it was truly a private tour. After the cenotes he took us to a lunch spot that was delicious! Omar is a wonderful and safe driver. We would absolutely recommend this tour! THANK YOU ARTURO AND OMAR!!

Another awesome outing with Arturo today! We snorkeled the protected Natural Park reef in Puerto Morales. Joaquin, our boat captain, was very attentive & informative regarding the area. We saw a moray eel, LARGE barracuda, puffer fish, parrot fish, stingray & gorgeous, protected coral. Lunch was a beachfront “toes in the sand” experience. Get the battered shrimp tacos & tamarind daiquiri!!

Just finished a great tour of Dos Ojos Cenote with Arturo as our guide & Carlo as our driver. Very attentive staff. They arrived on time for the pick up at our casa in Playacar. I am not super comfortable in deep water. Arturo was very patient, ensuring my equipment was fitted properly & I was good before starting out. It was so much fun!! The Mayan “restaurant” is an open air space in the jungle with a pool, tables & a bar with swings. Amazing, great food prepared on site. Truly a cultural emersion experience. I highly recommend Arturo & this tour!!

Let me start by saying that my plan from the beginning was to propose to my girlfriend in a cenote, in the water. When I looked at pictures of different cenotes, the pictures had tons of people in them and some cenotes had long lines, so I decided I would need to get there very early to beat the other tourists and have the cenote to ourselves for our special moment. I considered just renting a car and going and exploring the cenotes myself, however I was hesitant because this was such an important moment, I didn't want to mess it up.

our tour guide Alex was the absolute best! He knows so much about Mayan ruins, just talking with him made the history come alive. The whole day was incredible! The cenote was such a cool experience, I'll never forget swimming in the cave. Lunch was delicious too. The whole excursion was perfect and really the highlight of our trip. We just completed our tour and this is the best way to go to the ruins. Our guide Juan was excellent! His knowledge is wide and he was able to provide us with many insights. He is very articulate and made our time there worthwhile, The added bonus was wonderful vegetarian food in the end.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Claire helped us book our private experience for my husband's 40th. She was responsive and informative. Our guide Arturo was fantastic. He was funny, very knowledgeable about the history and habitat of the cenotes. We loved every bit of it. Would definitely tour with this company again.

We had the most amazing time with Juan and Rodrigo!! We had a group of 10 adults and 1 child under 10 and Juan made sure we all got to enjoy ourselves! We had the ruins all to ourselves which was so nice to be able to take in all its beauty. We had the cenote all to ourselves as well!! I struggled with the snorkeling in the cenote, but Juan was so patient with me and taught me how to do it so I was able to snorkel the whole time with the turtles. The food at the restaurant was the BEST food we ate on our entire 5 day trip in mexico! All our family talked about after our excursion was how amazing Juan was! He made sure he captures pictures and videos of us to keep memories forever! We will definitely be back and can't wait for our next adventure and will be requesting Juan!!!

We had the pleasure of touring three different cenotes with Arturo (and Carlos as our driver) in early June and loved every second! What an incredible day of adventuring and exploring the beauty of these cenotes! We arrived to the Dos Ojos Cenotes park and had our first cenote (Jaguar) entirely to ourselves! Nothing like a 7 meter jump into an empty cenote at 8:30am to invigorate you and wake you right up! We loved the serenity of our first cenote and even got to zip line twice (again, with the entire place to ourselves!) We loved the crystal clear waters of Cenote Nicte-Ha and getting to snorkel and do more platform jumping. Our final cenote was Dos Ojos. What a different world! Ending our day exploring the cave and seeing the majesty of the rather hidden bat cave was the cherry on top of a perfect day. Having a private guide was spectacular and something we valued a lot. Arturo was knowledgeable and so great to get to know throughout the day. We loved chatting with him and sharing a delicious lunch together. The authentic meal at the end of a day of swimming and exploring was just what we needed! Thank you for an incredible and unforgettable experience on our Cancun visit!

Wow - what an incredible day. Alex and Omar took incredible care of us and showed us all the sights of Chichen Itza, followed by an unforgettable swim in a gorgeous cenote (the kids loved jumping off the platform) and then a delicious lunch in picturesque Valladolid.

Juan and Roderigo were awesome! We had a great experience with our teenagers and they took great care of us. We will come back! We ate an outdoor restaurant near the denote in the jungle that had great food. The company was great to work with and made us feel comfortable with booking with then (we talked via e-mail, phone, and text).

We had an absolutely amazing adventure from start to finish with our private tour to Chichen Itza, swimming in a cenote and lunch and walking around Vallodolid! Claire was an incredible guide- She gave us so much info and patiently let us explore and ask questions about everything that we saw. They were punctual and friendly and we really enjoyed the 12 hours of the tour. I had a few questions before I booked and Claire answered them quickly. She was good about reaching out prior to the tour and was very easy to communicate with. The arrival at one minute until opening was perfectly timed so that we could get the best pictures of Chichen Itza and explore before it was too hot. She suggested the pick up time from our hotel so that we could get this accomplished and the day went perfectly. We almost had the cenote to ourselves and she took awesome pictures of our whole family. The lunch was delicious and it was great to be in authentic Mexican culture. We had our three children with us and they thoroughly enjoyed the entire day. We will absolutely use this company again on our future visits to explore other ruins, cenotes, and animal adventures. We have already recommended this to a few people and will continue to tell people about our excursion! Thank you for a fabulous day!

We had a tequila tasting and swam in the dos ojos cenote. Everything was amazing and beautiful. Our tour guide Arturo was very knowledgeable of the cenote and bat cave we got to explore, and the tequila/mezecal tasting. He gave us the freedom to take our time through the cenote and experience it, without being rushed. Also the Mexican lunch was delicious!! I would do it again and again, I had a wonderful time!

I cannot recommend this business enough. We had clear, regular contact from them prior to our excursion. They arrived on time at our hotel in an air con vehicle, with drinks on ice included in the price.

We had Juan as our guide and Carlos as our driver, and it was such a amazing experience. Our guide had so many wonderful facts and was very personable, easy to talk too. Carlos will get you where you need to be safe and swiftly.

We wanted mainly to see monkeys in their natural habitat and the guide (Jose) worked hard to get that for us. And we did! Howler monkeys!

Dulce (guide) and Omar (driver) were excellent. Dulce had answers to all of our questions and they were both very accommodating. The lunch stop had excellent food — be sure to stick to the Mayan section of the menu for a treat.

If you are questioning a tour of any kind, don’t. The tour guide and driver to dos ojos were amazing, friendly, and made our cenote trip that much more memorable. They picked us up on time at 8 am, to our surprise, a private tour was just the two of us.
