Great tour and our guide Juan was awesome. Our driver Omarr was tremendous as well. Juan was knowledgeable and very personable. A joy to spend the day with. In our time together we learned not just of Coba and the history of the place and people, but also of the current region and culture. Highly recommended!

Picked up from our accommodation early so we could get to Tulum before the crowds, on the way Alex the guide talked about the Mayan history and explained everything very clearly using pictures on his tablet. We were the first to arrive at Tulum so had the place to ourselves for awhile. As we walked around Alex explained each ruin. Was the same experience at Coba, but since Coba is a bigger site we rode around on bikes to get to each point a lot quicker. Both sites are different though as Tulum is coastal and has palm tress everywhere and Coba is in the middle of the jungle with trees growing over some of the ruins, so it was good to do both. We opted to do the cenote swims after visiting Coba to cool off which was also amazing. Barely anyone was at each one so practically had them to ourselves. I dropped my phone in one and it died on me so Alex and Enrique the driver offered to go to the shops while we were having lunch to get me a bag of rice. Thankfully it recovered and is working again! Thank you Alex and Enrique. In the van they also supplied water and sodas for the day.

We arrived at the Akumal and swam with turtles before all the crowds arrived, you get a private guide for the turtle swim as well so it feels like a very personal experience. I noticed large groups as we were leaving having to form a large circle around a turtle which I feel would take away from the experience. It was just my friend and I so we were able to get reasonably close and the guide offered to take my gopro and take all the videos for us without anyone in the back ground. It was a great experience. For the cenote swim we chose to do Sac Actun which is a cenote but with a cave attached, Alex the guide took us into the cave, they supplied wetsuits and snorkles. Another great experience, swimming though a cave with stalactites and stalagmites, sometimes with only enough room from you head to be above the water! Alex was awesome and the driver as well, they also supplied water and sodas. On the way to each destination Alex would explain the history of each place and the meanings of the names. The included lunch also had the best fish tacos we have had in Mexico!

We recently had an unforgettable experience with Absolute Adventures, and we couldn’t be happier with their exceptional service. Our guide, Arturo, and driver, Omar, made our private tour to Chichén Itzá truly remarkable. Arturo was everything you could hope for in a guide—informative, patient, knowledgeable, and passionate. His enthusiasm for Mayan culture and history was contagious, and it was clear he genuinely enjoyed sharing his insights with us. He answered all our questions thoughtfully, bringing the ruins to life with stories about the Mayan people, their culture, and their incredible accomplishments. The logistics were seamless. Arturo and Omar picked us up directly from our hotel in Cancun in a clean, comfortable vehicle. The drive to Chichén Itzá (about three hours each way) was smooth and relaxing, thanks to Omar's excellent driving skills. Along the way, Arturo kept us engaged with fascinating information about the Yucatán region, making the time fly by. What we loved most about this tour was that it was completely at our own pace. Arturo ensured we never felt rushed, giving us plenty of time to explore the incredible ruins, take photos, and soak in the history. His flexibility made the experience feel truly tailored to us, adding an extra level of comfort and enjoyment. At Chichén Itzá, Arturo's deep knowledge and passion really shone. He guided us through the site at a perfect pace, ensuring we had time to take in the grandeur of the ruins while learning about their significance. His storytelling made the ancient city come alive in a way that left us awestruck. A wonderful experience with friends and our amazing guide, Joshua and our amazing driver, Rodrigo! Joshua was so knowledgable and fun to talk to. My friends and I did the Tulum Private Tour with Turtles and Cenote Snorkeling. We were a group of 8, so it was exciting to experience walking on Mayan land, snorkeling in the cenotes, and snorkeling with turtles. The experience is about 5 hours and it flew by! Joshua made the experience immersive and he was a great guy to talk to. My friends and I enjoyed learning about the Mayans. He showed pictures and gave us a mini history lesson while we were touring the Mayan Ruins and it was an incredible experience. He also took awesome photos of me and my friends. The lunch that was included with the experience was delicious! A great way to relax and chat before we headed to our last excursion. We were staying in Tulum, so it's about a 15-20 minute drive to each location after you're done. After we were done, Joshua gave awesome recs to do in Playa Del Carmen and Tulum. Thank you again Joshua! You were an awesome tour guide. If my friends and I are ever in the area, we'll definitely do a tour with you again! Muchas Gracias! 😀

Easy breezy tour to Tulum ruins and 2 cenotes with door to door service from our resort. Our tour guide Arturo provided a plethora of cultural facts about the Mayan settlement in Tulum and our driver Enrique provided a comfortable pleasurable ride. Top notch service all day from both and would highly recommend for your next excursion. Do as many cenotes as you can!

Joshua was an incredible tour guide! Not only was he knowledgable about the history of the Mayans in Tulum, but he also went above and beyond to help me when I struggled to walk. His passion and enthusiasm for sharing this rich history made the experience unforgettable. The cenotes were breathtaking, and swimming with the turtles was a highlight of our trip. The customer service was also excellent - they checked in with us to make sure everything was going smoothly, even after a small hiccup at the start. If we ever return to Mexico, we’ll definitely book another excursion and request Joshua! Highly recommended!

Such a wonderful, memorable tour! Alex, our guide, and Rodrigo, our driver, took great care of us. We toured Mayan ruins in Coba, swam in two cenotes and it even included a private lunch at a local restaurant. Alex was knowledgeable and taught us so much about Mayan culture. Restroom breaks were planned along our route and we were able to include water and drinks. Would completely recommend, and we'll use Absolute Adventure next time we come to Mexico!

The perfect day trip for a large group We booked a private tour for our group of 16 and it was incredible! Could not recommend more highly. They were able to provide transportation in a van large enough for the entire group, and our guide Arturo was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. The ruins were beautiful. The cenote we went to was fantastic and not crowded at all. Then the location they chose for the included lunch was delicious. It was honestly the perfect day trip!

We did the Tulum Mayan ruins + 1 cenote private tour and our tour guide was Alex and our driver was Enrique. I cannot say enough good things about them. We booked last minute, but everything was handled professionally and no stress at all on our part. We felt safe the entire time Enrique was driving. We learned so much about the history of the Mayan ruins and cenotes from Alex. You could tell he really knew his stuff and he enjoyed what he was doing. Since it was our last full day in Mexico, we wanted to do a short tour and this was exactly what we were looking for. We were picked up at 7 and got dropped off by 12. We never felt rushed at any point and it was the perfect tour for our schedule. We will for sure rebook this company for the Chichen Itza tour when we return. 1000000/10 stars.

My husband and I truly recommend this excursion. Our guide Oscar was knowledgeable and friendly. After seeing the ancient community of EK Balam we enjoyed swimming in a cenote. That was followed by a traditional Mexican lunch. It was worth every penny!

Just got back from the Tulum ruins and cenote swim tour and it was amazing!!! So worth it. Our guide Joshua did such a great job explaining the history of the Mayan culture and we learned a lot. However the best part, in my opinion, was the cenote swimming. Joshua?s love of being in the water made him the perfect guide to snorkel and explore the inners of the cenote. Him and our driver Enrique made the day perfect!!! I highly recommend booking this tour.

We had a great day as a family and with our guide Joshua. He was fantastic with our two children - especially as they had lots of questions for him throughout the day. Joshua was very knowledgable , sharing a lot of history about the Mayans and Mexico. We set off early and arrived just before Chichen Itza opened so didn?t wait too long to enter the site. Food at Paladar de Cura in Valladolid was fantastic too.

Alex was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the history as well as details about the ruins. He was very hospitable and allowed us plenty of time for questions and shopping. Going early was a great benefit as we felt as if we had the place to ourselves. As we were leaving, it began getting very crowded. Our family and friend group would highly recommend!

We had an amazing tour with Absolute Adventure Mexico! Our guide and driver were very knowledgeable and friendly and we got to see all the sights we wanted at a good pace and avoided the crowds! They taught us a lot about Mexican culture and answered all our nerdy questions. They also took us to a great place for lunch! Highly recommend this company and will use them again the next time I visit Mexico!

Juan is an incredible tour guide. After getting picked up at our resort, we arrived at Tulum at 8:00, and saw only about five other people. Juan was full of information and showed us the best spots to take photos. Even though the tour is called express, we never felt rushed and were able to spend as much time at Tulum as we wanted. The private tour and vehicle cost only a few dollars more than group tours making it a no brainer. Instead of sitting on a bus making stops at other resorts during group tours, we spent the time on the beach. Also, a group tour cannot compare to a great private tour.

We just got home from the Playa del Carmen area and without a doubt, our time with Absolute Adventure Mexico was one of the biggest highlights of the trip. We originally booked a similar tour with another company, but after reading the great reviews for Absolute Adventure, I cancelled the other tour and booked with them. I'm glad I did. While this tour was a little more expensive, it far exceeded our expectations, and was worth every peso. Our tour guide Arturo and our driver Omar met us at our hotel lobby early. They were both extremely friendly and accommodating. We went to Tulum and basically had the place to ourselves. Arturo gave us a nice history lesson of Tulum and pointed out many interesting facts about the ruins. From there, Arturo made a quick pivot on the tour due to some weather that was coming in. We were supposed to go to a cenote first and then to snorkel with turtles. He recommended we switch that up and snorkel first to ensure we would be able to do it since the weather was going to get worse which might result in us not being able to snorkel with the turtles. I am so glad he decided to do that because the weather for snorkeling ended up being perfect and we saw a few turtles and stingrays. The beach was absolutely stunning. From there, we went to the Cenote Taak Bi Ha and it was beautiful. Crystal clear water and an incredible experience. Probably our favorite part of the tour. After that, we had a nice Mexican lunch and got to know Arturo a bit better. All in all, we had a fantastic time. We are a family of four and everyone loved it. Highly recommend going with Absolute Adventure. I know if we're ever back in the area, we'll do another tour with them. Thanks for a great time!

OMG....We did two tours with Absolute Adventure on two different days, and both days couldn't have been more perfect. We loved our tour guide, Joshua. We were picked up promptly at our hotel, driven in a lovely clean spacious van to our various stops, given water and anything else we needed along the way. They helped us select the 2 Cenotes we visited, and they were both beautiful-truly special. Our tour in Tulum was detailed, and Joshua was very knowledgeable on the history of Tulum and the Mayan culture. We snorkeled with Turtles and the guide they provided was also very sweet and lef us to baby and adult giant turtles. It was truly all incredible and we will def use them for our next trip.

We loved this tour and our amazing guide, Alex! My review will echo others, but basically this is the perfect tour, getting in before the crowds and heat, getting a private tour with an extremely knowledgeable guide, and getting back to your resort to enjoy the rest of your day. My group complained a little about having to get up early but then effusively thanked me and gave kudos when they saw the horde of large tour busses coming in as we were leisurely walking out. We also can't praise Alex's tour enough and loved the white board! Highly recommend this experience for your Tulum visit!
