This tour was the highlight of our trip! We were two families, with kids ages 8-15 and everyone loved it. Online booking was super easy, prices were reasonable, and communication from the company was great. Alex was an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable and friendly. We were picked up promptly and the van was clean and comfortable. They had it stocked with waters, juices and beers for us. Tulum was a great option to see ruins with the little kids. We chose the cave cenote and WOW. We could have stayed there all day. Alex had water proof flashlights for us to swim with which really helped us explore and see more (none of the other tour guides had those for their groups). After the cenote we had a fantastic lunch at the family owned restaurant onsite at the park where the cenote was located. We highly recommend this company and would absolutely use them again!

Beautiful Coba We had an incredible experience on our tour of the Coba ruins, and we were especially fortunate to have Arturo as our guide, he was delightful! Arturo?s knowledge of the Maya civilization truly enhanced our visit. He shared many fascinating details, making the ancient history come alive for us and teaching us a lot about the Maya in a way that never felt boring or pedantic. We chose Coba because we liked that it wasn't an all-day excursion. We hoped it would be less crowded than other ruins and we liked that it was tucked away in the jungle and out of the sun, and all these things were true! We got there early and it was so peaceful biking around the sites before it got too hot. Arturo was very thoughtful and attentive, always offering to take our pictures at the perfect spots! He structured the tour in a way that helped us avoid the big crowds, and took care of all the logistics, including purchasing tickets and arranging our bike rentals, so we could fully enjoy the tour without any hassle. If you?re planning a visit to the Coba ruins (and you should!) we highly recommend this tour. And if you?re lucky enough to have Arturo as your guide, you?re in for a truly memorable experience!

Amazing private tour We had the best day today with Alex and Omar. We first went to Tulum and Alex shared some amazing Mayan knowledge with us. After Tulum we went to the cenote which was amazing. __ It was our first time snorkeling and honestly, incredible doesn't describe it well enough. We then went and had a delicious lunch before coming back to the resort. The private tour was absolutely the right choice for us. We could go at our pace, ask questions, and it was so nice to have Alex with us throughout. Highly recommend this company and hopefully you get Alex as your guide. __

Tulum, cenote snorkeling and swimming with sea turles-- wow! Fabulous early morning tour of Tulum ruins, where our interesting and cool guide, Juan, explained the structures and the culture of ancient Mayans here on the Carribean coast. Then we stopped for a refreshing swim/snorkel in a beautiful cenote full of lillypads and little fish. After the swim, we enjoyed interesting conversation with Juan over a delicious lunch at the local restaurant by the cenote. Then we headed to TSUUK Akumal national park, where specially trained swiming/snorkeling guides lead you into the ocean to look for sea turtles. Our guide, Manuel, found five turles, including a HUGE one so close we probably could have touched it when it came up for air. But of course we didn't. After all that, we savored the cold beers we had requested for the short drive back to Playa del Carmen. Our driver, Omar, was great. This was our first private tour, and so worth the money. What a great day!

We booked a private tour of Chichen Itza because I was looking for a personal experience to learn more about this amazing place and I had tons of questions. From pick up to drop off, our driver ensured a safe and comfortable ride and we arrived before it opened and left when it was starting to get very crowded. Our guide Arturo was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable, personable, and it was very appreciated that he tailored the tour for us. It was an incredible experience we highly recommended.

Best Tour Guide & Tour!!!! Me and my two kids (ages 10 & 13) went on the Coba Ruins and Punta Laguna Monkey Reserve excursion and it was INCREDIBLE!!!! All of the activities planned were well organized, the sites were incredible, and it was a great history experience for myself and the kids. This was our second time using Absolute Mexico Adventure and our second time with Juan as our tour guide. They truly don?t get better than Juan ~ he is extremely knowledgeable, great with kids, goes out of his way to make everyone comfortable, and is fun to be around while on a new adventure!!! Perfect example of Juan going out of his way to make a great experience: In our first time looking for monkeys, we weren?t able to see many, so Juan took us back a second time before leaving to see if we had better luck, which we did!! He is incredible at his job!!!! We will continue to use both Absolute Mexico and Juan for future excursions!

Simply Amazing Chich?n Itz? Experience! I searched online for a comprehensive, value-conscious private Chich?n Itz? tour for me and my girlfriend. I came across the Absolute Adventure Mexico site, because it was one of the few that listed options originating from Canc?n. I?ll be honest, I had no prior experience with them, but the website was very good at promoting exactly what they offered, and the price seemed appropriate for the experience offered. I chose the private Chich?n Itz? tour which included a tour of the site, 3 location choices for a cenote visit & swim (we chose "Xkeken" and it did NOT disappoint), lunch and free time to visit in the town of Valladolid. Well, I was ?blown away? by the customer service, friendliness and professionalism of our Guide (Joshua) and Driver (Omar) on our August 17, 2024 trip. My girlfriend was very impressed with the service (extra ?cool points? for me..haha) as she felt like a ?celebrity? having an entire vehicle (clean and in great shape) to ourselves for the transportation. The combination of knowledge, friendliness and professionalism that Joshua and Omar displayed throughout the day confirmed that I had made the right decision in selecting Absolute Adventure Mexico for this most special day for me and my girlfriend. I also want to thank Claire (one of the owners) for her outstanding customer service. My checkin was later in the day, so I was able to communicate with her via WhatsApp to provide a few additional details about where to pick us up at our hotel. I highly recommend contacting Absolute Adventure Mexico when choosing a company to book your excursions in Canc?n (or the surrounding area). I am referring them to any of my friends who visit looking for a great experience. I visit often, and I will book my excursions with them in the future!

Lots of fun! An excellent tour. Our guides were great and extremely knowledgeable. Lots of turtles on the turtle swim but the cenote was the highlight. Lunch was also great. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing tour of Tulum For my first time in Tulum, our tour guide Arturo, was an amazing tour guide. He explained everything in detail about the ruins and made sure we were all safe in the cenote.

Tour Guide: Joshua Driver: Omar Tour: Tulum ruins, cenote, and Akumal Turtles Duration: 8HRs Party: 2x adults & 2x kids (5 & 7) Best way to explore Mexico. The absolute team arrived at hotel early ready for reception. I paid the remaining balance via VISA card (5% added fee - not bad). Easy communication with the absolute team via WhatsApp. Even had 2x kid booster seats for a van ride. Guided entry to all attractions. Bypassed multiple tourist bottlenecks. Tour guide remained with us the entire time expect when we snorkeled with turtles but as soon as we finished, Joshua was there. Driver dropped us off super close to attractions and secured our belongings in the van. Top notch way to do excursions in Mexico!!! Pay the premium price, well worth. Stress free trip! Guide handled it all and provided recommendations along the way.

Best option for families visiting Tulum! Take a private tour! We are so glad that we chose to come early with just our family! Definitely worth the extra investment to be in a smaller group and come before the crowds. Arturo was a fantastic guide! He had so much great information to share and answered all our questions. Yosmar was a safe and efficient driver who stayed with the van and our belongings while Arturo took us through the Archaeological site. I HIGHLY recommend that people bring umbrellas. I failed to bring ours and our little ones were melting. It is August and the sun is plentiful and shade is hard to find on the site. Arturo was so sweet and poured water on the kids heads to help them cool off and was always looking for any little shady spot where we could relax while he spoke. My mom (78yrs old) has some mobility challenges, and she stayed home, worried it would be too hard for her with the heat. There is definitely a good amount of walking and stairs to climb. I looked for but didn?t see good options for people with wheelchairs, but perhaps there was an alternate entrance. Regardless there are no ramps up to the higher areas, only stairs. So, just be aware of this as you plan your trip. Thanks to Arturo and Yosmar for helping our family learn so much and make amazing memories at Tulum!

Great day at Tulum, snorkeling and a cenote We loved our day with Absolute Adventures! Juan was our tour guide, and he is the best! He was so knowledgeable and fun. He made sure everything went smoothly and knew how to avoid crowds and backups. He even knew all of the favorite photo spots and patiently took as many photos as we wanted. Be sure to take their advice to go to Tulum early - the line when we left was SO long, and it would have been miserable to have to wait that long. We originally booked the snorkeling with turtles trip, but we decided to switch to the reef snorkeling. The staff made it easy to make the change in advance. When we snorkeled, we didn't spend much time on the actual reef. We had expected to and hoped to see a lot of colorful fish. Instead the guide led us to an area with sting rays and sea turtles. It was very cool, but I'm just sharing so people know what to expect. The cenote was really neat! It was hard to choose which to go to, but we opted for Dos Ojos, and our kids enjoyed jumping off the cliff into the water. I'm glad we chose an outdoor cenote because the water was pretty chilly as it was. We probably would have been too cold to swim in a cave one for very long.

Amazing guide, amazing experience! We went on the private tour with Alex and driver Enrique and it was so nice! Punctual pick-up at our airbnb as well as knowledgable information about Mayans and Mexican history even in the car before we arrived the experience started!

Did the Tulum Express private tour with Joshua. He was great! Very knowledgeable of the historyof the ruins and the Mayan people. He promptly picked us up bright and early which I highly recommend. By the time we were walking out we were seeing huge crowds coming in, so glad we started the day early and skipped the crowd.

Breathtaking cenotes, Tulum and the best guide in the business We couldn?t have had a better day and experience. With several companies to choose from, we chose Absolute Adventures because of how friendly and helpful Claire was in addition to all of the great reviews, which were 100% accurate. We consider ourselves incredibly lucky that our guide was Juan Jose and driver Omar. Juan was deeply knowledgeable and kind, and simply a cool dude. It was like we had been friends for years. His tour of Tulum was informative and fun, and he chose the perfect breathtaking cenotes for us to visit. Wonderful and beautiful natural attractions in Tulum and the cenotes + the best guide and driver there could be = a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget and can?t recommend highly enough!

Family Fun!!! This was such a fun tour. I would recommend it to anyone we had ages from six years old to 65 years old. We all loved it. Just want to thank Juan our tour guide. He did a great job. I was nervous about doing the cenote. I have a muscle disease in my legs and he was right there to help me and guide me through and get me in and out. Thanks for your encouragement and help Juan.

Definitely a Must if visiting Playa del Carmen or Riviera Maya! Arturo our tour guide and Enrique our Driver were great!! Very informative, helped to guide us along our day, and everything was smooth and very well structured!! It Was a fabulous day with the family.
