Wonderful private tour with Auturo and Rick! Useful insights and recommendations on what to expect and history of where we toured: Nicte Ya cenote Mayan Ruins Sea turtles Snorkeling We liked the private tour because we wanted one on one. They always offered water and soft drinks. Lunch was nice after the Cenote. Clean van, super nice and professional tour!

Amazing private Cenote Experience! We did the private 3 cenote swim with lunch. To begin we were picked up at our resort by Rodrigo (driver) and Joshua (guide). They were immediately welcoming and friendly. The van was very comfortable and stocked with a variety of drinks for us. Both Josh and Rodrigo spoke great English! They advised us of the trip (1.5 hours) from our specific resort and said that if we needed any bathroom breaks to let them know. Once arriving at the Cenotes, Joshua took care of everything. He provided a history on each Cenote and the region. My wife was a little nervous about swimming and he never put any pressure on her and allowed her to warm up to the idea. During the swims Joshua made sure I was comfortable with every step and would allow me to decide which paths to take or how adventurous to be. I cannot speak highly enough of Joshua?s professionalism and overall just positive attitude. He made the experience all that much better. As for the Cenotes, they are breathtaking each in their own way. At 2 of the 3 we selected we had the entire Cenotes to ourselves. This really was a private and intimate trip. Would highly recommend!!

Fantastic private tour, way above expectations. This was such a great and fun day. Everyone had a fantastic time. Joshua our guide was so knowledgeable, we learnt a lot about the Maya culture as well as about the sites we visited. We also talked about modern Mexico. Rodrigo the driver was so attentive, always a step ahead of us, parking the car at the right location to pick and drop us up, stopping for our children?s numerous toilets breaks, making sure we had cool drinks. I cannot recommend enough this company for fantastic private tours. We really felt like VIP.

Private tour of Chichen Itza for Joshua and Rodrigo We had the pleasure of Joshua (our guide) and Rodrigo?s (our driver) company for you half day tour of Chichen Itza and lunch in Valladolid. It was an early start but it was 2+ hours from our hotel so that was just fine. Rodrigo was excellent and got us there safe and sound and was punctual when it came to picking us up afterwards. Joshua was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. He was also great company at lunch. Can?t recommend these two guys enough so please request them if you are lucky enough to go and see Chichen Itza. The place itself speaks for itself and is well worth the trip 🙂

A Great way to visit with kids A fantastic way to see Chichen Itza with kids. We were picked up early and arrived in time for the site opening. Our guide took us round and explained everything we wanted to know. With kids and it being the middle of Summer, we were interested in understanding the site, but not hanging around unduly. Once we had seen all we wanted to, we went for Lunch nearby (very nice and authentic) and were back in the hotel pool by mid afternoon. Overall a really enjoyable trip, we learnt lots about the culture and history and the kids enjoyed it without getting too hot or bored hanging about.

Wonderful private tour of Ek Balam ruins with a driver and very informative guide. We were able to climb on parts of the ruins and our guide Arturo was very informative about the site and very helpful. The swim in the nearby Cenote was amazing. Our driver Rodrigo stayed with the van the entire time with our belonging and Arturo helped us traverse the Cenote, where we stayed a while because it was beautiful and refreshing. We stopped for a really good lunch at a restaurant in town on the way back. All in all this was probably the best tour we’ve ever have had in Mexico, the others were to Tulum and Chichen Itza with other companies.

Booking an excursion online with an unfamiliar company in an unfamiliar location can be a bit stressful for a variety of reasons, not least are they genuine and will they deliver what you expect in both customer service and product? For me, Absolute Adventure Mexico (AAM) set the gold standard. The information on the website was good on detail and I had no queries to email in. When I booked late on a Sunday night in the UK I inadvertently had the same trip twice in my "basket", realised this when the receipt email came through a minute or so later, and was resigned to spending some of Monday morning sorting out my mistake. I was really pleased and impressed to discover, the following morning, that I had received an email from Claire (AAM co-owner), sent 5 minutes after the receipt email, who had noticed my error, proactively cancelled the duplicate booking and was offering me the choice of a refund of the extra deposit or to amend the balance due on the now single booking. I chose the latter. An amended booking confirmation email followed later that day (the start of office hours in Mexico). Shortly after entering information requested at the link provided on the booking confirmation (T shirt sizes for life jackets, hotel for pickup) I received an email from Ruby, another of the team, confirming receipt of the details, the pickup time and a reminder to send our hotel room no. when known (so the minibus could be allowed through the gate to collect us). Once we sent the room no. Ruby again confirmed receipt. The excursion itself (Tulum ruins, Jaguar Cenote, and viewing the wild turtles) was wonderful: Alex and Jeremy (our guide and driver respectively) picked us up promptly and made us feel very welcome and "looked after" from the outset. As we travelled to the ruins Alex ran through what we'd be doing throughout our time with them, inviting any questions we had or requests for adjustments to timings. During the tour Alex explained the Mayan history, culture and society, welcoming and answering questions, which brought the ruins and Cenote visits to life for us, making them more than just sights to see. Jeremy made the journey down rutted tracks, both before and after lunch, comfortable through his careful driving. At the beach Alex introduced us to our guide for the short swim to see the turtles in the wild (we saw quite a few, with a couple coming up for air very near us) and was waiting for us when we returned. After a short ride back to the hotel we were sorry to say goodbye to Alex and Jeremy, but felt we had had both a good booking experience and a great tour, as we had hoped, with nothing to detract from giving AAM the 5/5 feedback as many others have done.

Simply amazing! We loved our day exploring the jungle and Maya ruins with Alex, our incredible tour guide. He was patient with our children & all of their questions. His depth of knowledge made of visit to Coba so much more meaningful. If you are looking for some adventure and history, this is it!

The minibus turned up perfectly on time and had ample room for everything we needed (we were travelling with two children) and was well stocked with water etc. Arturo was so friendly and knowledgeable, and carefully tailored the tour to suit us. During our tour of Tulum he did a great job of entertaining our 7 year old with facts, including sacrifices (he did check first!) and always making sure we were ok and stopping if we needed a break in the shade with our 18 month old. He made sure to keep us away from the crowd and helped with some beautiful photos. We then went on to our tequila tasting in the most beautiful restaurant in the jungle, we had a fantastic meal and had the whole place to ourselves to explore. Again Arturo was conscious of making sure the whole party was happy and catered for at all times. The tequila tasting was awesome, great to find out the difference between each one and have guided tastings to find out favourites. The staff in the restaurant were also incredibly kind and friendly. I would highly recommend booking with Absolute Adventure and look forward to our next trip when we return to Mexico

Me and my family took a private tour with Josh and Rodri. We went snorkeling with the turtles saw five turtles and many tropical fish. It was incredible. We then went snorkeling in the Oso Cenotes which were underwater caves. Josh escorted us through the caves. Otherwise we probably would've got lost. The water was so clear. Josh then escorted us through the Cenotes to-the Batcave. There was bats everywhere. It was awesome. After snorkeling in the Cenotes we walk to have lunch, which was very tasty,lunch was included in the tour. I want to thank Josh and Rodri for an incredible day. I would totally recommend the tour.

Excellent Ek Balam private tour with Cenote swim The tour was wonderful from the first minute. Our guide Arturo and driver Rodrigo were right on time to pick us up at an out of the way hotel. Arturo was very informative during the tour with answers to all our questions. We were able to climb on parts of the Ek Balam ruins. The swim in the nearby Cenote was also amazing. We spent a while as it was beautiful & refreshing. Arturo took photos for us & helped us traverse the Cenote. On the way back we stopped for a great lunch at a small restaurant in town. Rodrigo never left the van with all our belongings and Arturo was very kind. This was probably the single best tour we?ve ever had in Mexico compared to past tours with other companies to Tulum & Chichen Itza

Ek Balam with tour guide Christina We took the Ek Balam express tour. It was an amazing and insightful tour because of our excellent tour guide, Cristina, and skillful driver Omar. I am well versed on archeological sites, so I had tons of questions not only about the site but also about the surrounding area and its proximity to other sites. Christina answered all of those questions without hesitation and added other insightful information that further enhanced my curiosity. Being seniors, she helped us to navigate the site at our pace without missing out on the structures other than climbing to the top of the main structure. A must do with this tour company so not to miss the opportunity to really get to enjoy the sites at your own pace and not at a large groups pace.

Well panned , customizable and a fun Chichen Itza day tour What an excellent, well planned day! We started early at 6AM , Joshua (guide) and Omar (driver) were already waiting for us when we arrived at the lobby. We did a quick stop to pick up complimentary coffee and croissants . When we arrived at Chichen Itza , We were the first ones to get in . Joshua took lots of beautiful pictures of our family with no crowd, Joshua was very knowledgeable about the history and explained in great interesting details . We spent couple of hours at Chichen itza and then headed to the Cenote where we spent a fun hour. Joshua then took us for the complimentary lunch at a local restaurant , the dish cochinita pibil pork was soft, succulent and full of flavor . We spent another half hour at colonial town of valladolid.and then headed back to Cancun . We were back around 3 pm and the day was packed with fun and well planned adventure giving us the freedom to customize time at each stop. The company was in constant touch via email , very professional . I highly recommend this tour company !

Wonderful tour and guide to Cenotes! Loved our tour. Cristina was our guide, and she was friendly and very knowledgeable! She met us promptly at the Playa del Carmen ferry pier and we were off on our adventure. The 3 cenotes were each very different and absolutely amazing. She provided our snorkel gear and life jackets, and went snorkeling with us in each cenote. She provided a lot of history and information and also answered our questions. After the cenotes we went to a local restaurant and enjoyed a delicious meal! Would highly recommend this tour!! We would go again!

Exceptional experience Our tour guide was a 100000/10! Me and my family were scared to go into the cenote underground due to us not knowing how to swim but our tour guide hopped in the water with us and guide us through the process and helped me overcome my fears! The food was 10/10 and was included. The tequila tasting 10/10, we learned so much about tequila and which tequila is not real. Our driver and tour guide was the absolute nicest! Wish to book them again when we visit!

The best tour in the Riviera Maya - just book it! We did the Coba ruins and Punta Laguna tour, and Arturo was our fantastic guide. This was our 8th tour in the area, some private, some not, and this was our favourite. There is literally nothing to criticise. The driver (sorry I forgot his name) was on time, van was clean and cool, driving was good. Arturo was everything you could want - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, informative, interested in us and our country as well as his own, enthusiastic, accomodating, the list goes on. Also happy to take as many photos of us all together as a family as he could - which is a nice change after a few of the other tours we have been on trying to charge a small fortune for this. Punta Laguna was just incredible - we saw and heard howler monkeys, spider monkeys, zip lined across a stunning lagoon and then kayaked back, and had a wonderfully exciting rapel into a cenote for a very welcome and refreshing swim before the hardest part of the day which was climbing back out (this really is a challenge - don't underestimate it). Then off to a delicious lunch in a local restaurant before continuing to Coba to learn all about the ruins. We chose to ride our own bikes there and it was an easy ride through the shady jungle. Fascinating to see and so interesting to learn all about it - my teenage son was enthralled. So glad we chose to go here rather than Chichen Itza - the shady jungle was nice and quite, and while it was most definitely hot, we all agreed it was much better than standing out in the full sun. Our family of 4 (including 2 teenagers) all had the best day!

Go see one of the 7 wonders of the world 2025 and use Absolute Adventures tour company One of the most amazing tours I've ever been on. Our tour guide (Joshua) was so knowledgeable and so patient with my endless questions not only about the archeological site but about local interests and factoids. Amazing once in a lifetime tour experience! We had an amazing time on our tour! If you enjoy seeing Mexico?s beauty without the tourist crowds, this is the tour for you! The eco adventures in the Punta Laguna Monkey Reserve are not to be missed and Coba was awesome. Swimming in the underground cenote was a once in a lifetime experience, in addition to seeing a lot of monkeys, canoeing and zip lining! This is a great family activity. Alex is an extremely knowledgeable and kind tour guide - we learned so much from him - and Enrique was a courteous driver! I would recommend this tour company to anyone looking for adventures!

Arturo was INCREDIBLE! We really got to see several sides of tulum with this tour. He’s super knowledgeable and made everything fun for me and my bachelorette crew. The cenote was really cool with the zip line and the ruins were breath taking. The lunch was also super tasty!

Alex and Ivan made the trip!!! Soooo much fun! A must!!! This is absolutely amazing!!! Soooo much fun! Alex is the best tour guide ever and Ivan was our driver. They did everything. Very educational and so polite and they catered to all of our needs. We all said it was the most fun we have had in many years. We could not recommend them more!!!

Tulum Trip Core Memory. Wonderful from top to bottom. The tour guide Josh was terrific. Snorkeling around Dos Ojos will be a highlight memory of our trip,. Josh was very knowledgeable about the local culture and region, and he was happy to help take pictures of us at key moments. Honestly the snorkeling is so immersive in the dark caves lit only by flashlight that you?d almost think you were scuba diving. Highly recommended!

Must do tour in Tulum! This tour was incredible! Our guide, Joshua, was so kind and knowledgable. You're able to choose which cenotes you want to visit which gave us the chance to visit an open-air lagoon and a cenote in a cave. Our driver, Omar, was also wonderful.

My guide Alex and driver Omar did an excellent job at making sure we had a beautiful adventure when visiting Chichen Itza! Alex was so good at explaining the history of the site. I was traveling with my 2 children and felt extremely safe with my guide. I felt like he was watching out for us the entire time. I 100% recommend this tour. They went above and beyond my expectations.

We had an unforgettable private tour with Absolute Adventure Mexico, traveling from Cancún to Chichén Itzá and Valladolid. Josh was our guide and Omak was our driver — both of them were absolutely amazing. Josh was incredibly thoughtful, informative, and flexible. He shared so much history and culture with us, always with a friendly smile and great energy. Omak drove us safely and smoothly all day, and was also super kind and attentive. The entire experience was perfectly planned and felt very personal. We visited iconic sites, explored charming streets, and learned so much — all without feeling rushed. We especially appreciated how they adapted to our pace and interests throughout the day. It was the best tour we’ve had on our trip, and we highly recommend Absolute Adventure Mexico to anyone looking for a high-quality, stress-free experience in the Yucatán!
