We did a private tour with Absolute Adventure and are so-so happy we choose them. I wouldn't rec. anyone else! We were picked up early from our hotel so we could head towards Coba Ruins......It wasn't to bad because I had my coffee.

With all the great reviews, I will admit I had high expectations. And they were exceeded. First off communication with Claire from the beginning was great. We booked late and had it scheduled for early AM pickup the morning after we arrived. So we didn't have our room number and wouldn't till late. No problem. Claire was very accommodating.

Hector & Pascal were amazing. We did the tour that included Tulum, Cenote and Akumal Turtle excursion. It was the best excursion that we’ve been on. Hector was very knowledgeable and great with our smaller children. Loved that it was a private tour and didn’t have to wait on others, all

Great day out all round and good value for money with a great guide ( sorry forgot his name). We did get to see turtles at Akumal beach and swam by a couple taking some decent pictures we also had a one on one guide there and she knew where to go not sure we would have seen what we did without her ( thanks Jessica). Cenote was great it was off the beaten track and not busy which made even better and a good chance for pictures with out people in the way. We then stopped off for lunch at a local place down the road and sampled some home cooked Mexican food that was lovely. In all a good trip and would recommend this especially as your on a one to one basis and no crowds.

We had the most wonderful time on our private tour. We were able to pack everything into one excursion (Tulum, Coba, cenote and a Mayan lunch). Manuel and Hector were the best tour guides. They are very knowledgeable. Manuel climbed the pyramid and swam in the cenote with us. They took pictures along the way. Rodrigo and Omar were great drivers and stayed with our belongings in the van. I would definitely book with Absolute Adventure Mexico again.

So there were quite a lot of tour options including the option to book through our hotel. I am so glad I came across Absolute Adventure Mexico, it was a wonderful experience, a fantastic tour. First off we were initially scheduled to be picked up from our hotel at 7am to get off to an early start to Tulum, but asked last minute, the night before to be picked up at 7:30am instead. It wasn’t a problem. Our tour guide and driver promptly showed up at 7:30am and we were on our way. Our driver Pasquel was focused and reserved, but incredibly nice and our tour guide Manuel was also incredibly nice and very knowledgeable. We first visited Tulum and then went to Dos Ojos Cenote. After swimming in the incredibly beautiful waters of cenote Nicte-Ha we had a delicious lunch and headed back to our hotel. Can’t recommend this tour duo enough! They were great!

My wife and I booked the private Tulum ruins tour with a cenote swim and a swim with the sea turtles. We could not have been happier. Our guide Hector and our driver Rodrigo were awesome. Comfortable van all to ourselves and nice cold drinks of all types. They even offered a waterproof camera to use during our snorkeling. Hector was super knowledgable and so enthusiastic. He made the tour that much better. I can't recommend them enough. In fact, my wife is heading back next month with a friend and will be doing another tour. A+!

We were so glad we found this private tour and had a great day with our guide Juan. Pickup and drop off were seamless. Being able to be on a private tour meant we got to both sites before the huge crowds, and we went at our own pace. Juan was able to provide the perfect amount of time, and information at each place based on our needs. He was friendly and very knowledgable. The authentic lunch in the town by Coba was great food we would have never found on our own. An overall 5 star experience.

I was skeptical because they canceled on me, but it worked out and we had an incredible time. Our guide made sure that we had a wonderful and experienced guide for the ruins. We learned a lot and enjoyed the ruins more than expected. Once we left, we spent time at the Cenote Dos Ojos and it was breathe taking. The water was crystal clear and ice cold! However it was a very HOT day and the cold water was refreshing. We had an amazing lunch in the jungle and I am sure that it was the first time that I has real Mexican food. Very special place. After lunch we had a nice bumpy ride to the ocean where we swam with turtles and rays. It was a magical day. 🙂

We had the best time. I didn't expect to have a private tour guide, so it was a pleasant surprise. Hector was wonderful, so knowledgeable and friendly. He made us feel comfortable and safe. Pascual was a wonderful driver, we felt very safe with him. Both of them seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. Hector shared so much fun information with us. We had a private tour in Tulum, which was fabulous. We chose the outdoor cenote, and we were practically the only ones there. Hector never made us feel rushed, he let us enjoy each stop at our own pace. He took us to a great local spot for lunch. He introduced us to our snorkeling guide, which was just awesome. Overall, we had an amazing time. Hector also provided local food recommendations in Playa del Carmen. I highly recommend this during your stay in Playa. Thank you Hector and Pascual!

What can I say - Juan was amazing! I felt like I was hanging out with a friend the entire time. We had so much fun and he was so patient and knowledgeable. We went at our own pace - missed the crowds - definitely a one of a kind experience. Also the price is extremely fair. Congrats Absolute Adventure on your success! - I'm sure I will be seeing you again. Juan - what was the name of the book you recommended?

This excursion was one of the best decisions we made for our family vacation. Hector was our guide and Ervin was our driver. They were both friendly and accommodating and attentive to ensure we were comfortable. We were all very comfortable and had a lot of laughs. Hector was very personable and incredibly knowledgeable. We enjoyed the entire trip which included Tulum, snorkeling in the Cenote, and swimming with the turtles. Tulum was an incredible place to visit given how old the site is and the incredible views. Our guide at Tulum, as well as Hector, shared so many interesting facts about the history of the site. Next we chose to snorkel in the cave Cenote – it was an incredible and unique experience – especially with bats flying overhead. Next was lunch at a Myan village – a great location and authentic food that we all enjoyed very much. Last was swimming with the turtles. Even though the water was a little rough, our guide ensured we saw a few turtles. Life jackets are required and that turned out to be for the best. Throughout the day we had interesting conversations about many topics – cultures, family, religion, politics, etc. It was a great experience to be able to learn more about Mexico and Mexican culture. We will all remember this experience fondly and would love to come back and go on other excursions with Hector and Ervin. We recommend this tour company 100%; they handle everything so all you have to do is enjoy!

Shout out to Hector and Pasqual ! Did the private three Cenote tour. The guides made us have an amazing time and the tour was totally private! Hector took pictures and let us pick what we wanted to do. Best part was he never rushed us and let us pick where we wanted to go and leave. The Cenotes were beautiful and not crowded! Would recommend the tour and the guides!

Our guide Jose Manuel and our driver Pasqual showed up promptly at 6:30am in a private van to take our group of 5 women to Coba. We arrived right upon opening to beat the crowds that would be arriving by the busloads later, enjoyed a separate presentation by a guide on site, and then Jose Manuel led us on bikes to the base of the main ruins. The climb to the top was quicker than I thought (less than 10 minutes), but not going to lie - it was scary looking down (so don't look down while your climbing if you're scared of heights). Joe Manuel climbed with us to top and climbed down with us too. The climb (or slide down) is much slower, but Jose Manuel stayed with us to make sure we were comfortable. We continued to explore the rest of the ruins site and THEN we rode via van to our first cenote experience ever (just a few minutes away). The underground cenote was insane and absolutely jawdropping. Jose Manuel encouraged us to jump from the platforms and our group had so much fun - truly one of the highlights of our trip. He even swam with us but also gave us room and space to soak it all in ourselves.

Hector, Juan and their 2 drivers (can’t recall their names) did a great job showing us Coba and giving us extensive information about the sites and Mayan Mexican history and culture. They were very knowledgeable about a wide range of topics, and had answers for all of our questions, which were many! We had a large group (14 family members) in 2 vans, but they did a great job of making us seem like one cohesive group. They took great care of us, including the great restaurant were we had lunch. It was an excellent experience, and we all loved how easy they were to talk to. They truly did make it feel as if they were part of the family! We would definitely take another tour with them in the future.

My teen son and I had been most looking forward to our tour of Coba and Tulum out of all the things we had planned for our Mexican vacation. Having studied archeology in college it was a dream of mine to make a trip to see various mayan sites in the Yucatan including Coba. Our day turned out to meet and exceed our great expectations. The day was expertly planned so as to best avoid the crowds andJuan was extremely personable, knowledgable and patient with all of our many questions. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of throughout the day and the lunch we had was delicious. I heartily recommend this company based upon the experience we had.

We had the tour of Tulum and a Cenote, with lunch afterward. By far the highlight of our trip to Riviera Maya. Hector was our tour guide. We adored him. Very personable, knowledgable and entertaining. We were picked up PROMPTLY at 7:30 and were at Tulum by 8. THANK GOODNESS! It was hot and we beat the HOARDS of people heading in while we were headed out around 10. At Tulum, we had a private guide who was a professional anthropologist, in addition to Hector. Hector snorkeled with us at the cenote and gave detailed information about the geography of the area/cenotes. The snorkeling equipment was in excellent shape and extremely clean. Hector took a lot of fantastic photos. Lunch was superb, at a very pretty local restaurant, and Hector ate with us and was very chatty and fun to be with. My 20, 18 and 15-year-old "children" loved the entire experience and Hector. We also had a private driver, Pasqual. I honestly can say that this is worth every penny, and may even be a bargain for the service provided. Bravo to this company!

We were a group of 7 and every single one of us enjoyed this tour. Swimming with the turtles was amazing! At first we were a bit nervous because it seemed as if we weren't going to see any turtles but they were just being shy! One of the guides was even kind enough to assist a swimmer throughout the entire time because she was nervous about swimming alone. The cenote was also beautiful with super clear water! Our tour guide's name was Hector and he was so much fun! Super knowledgeable about Mayan history which was a bonus we weren't expecting. Overall couldn't recommend this tour enough!

We left our hotel and went to Tulum, then went to Coba and then to a Mexican restaurant for lunch. Hector was super friendly and informative. Would definitely use them again.

It felt like being shown around by a knowledge friend instead of a paid tour guide. We went to the ruins early in the morning which we think was worth the early wake up since they were not crowded and it was not too hot. Lastly having the guide take pictures was a great benefit.
