We had a perfect day with our private tour guide, Dulce, and driver, Omar. They came to our hotel and picked us up, on time, after the good suggestion from Claire, the owner, the day before to pick us up early to avoid the crowds and heat in Tulum. Dulce was informative, helpful, and patient with our, at times, whiney kids and many bathroom breaks. There are places to shop for souvenirs, and clean bathrooms. Bring small bills for the attendant. It was hot, and comfortable footwear is recommended. You can pay for a public bus-type ride in a pretty open vehicle from the ruin area to parking lot which our very hot kids appreciated. It was inexpensive and worth it. After the ruins, we had a choice of three cenotes, and chose Jaguar (not pictured in the options shown, but described) because of the diving platforms. We are so glad we did! All four of us jumped in using the medium platform, and my husband even did the highest one. The water was cool and clear and it was fun to swim the length and go through a narrow channel with rock on one side and mangroves on the other. We brought our own snorkeling stuff, including water shoes, which I am glad we brought with us for walking from van (it was a short walk) to the cenote. You could use theirs though without a problem. After the cenote we had lunch at a lovely outdoor spot and had a choice of entrees and beverages. We paid extra for guacamole and were glad we did. It was delicious! Bring money for extras and to tip the server. From there, we were taken to the sea turtle watching on a beach with monitored bins to hold our stuff, and a separate guide to swim us out to the turtles. We were all tired by this point, and I would say there were LOTS of people doing the same bit with other guides making it slightly less magical, but it was still fun. We got to see three turtles, a lobster, and some cool fish down on the grass on the sea floor. We tipped the guide, who was wonderful and patient as I had issues with the snorkel I brought (not theirs mine). There were showers and a changing facility we used before our ride back to the hotel. Throughout the day there were cold beverages offered and a secure van to hold our bags. Don’t forget to tip the driver and guide. They work hard throughout the day to ensure a pleasant trip.

We had a private tour of Tulum ruins, swam in a cenote and snorkeled with sea turtles, and we had a great time! We totally lucked out getting Juan as our tour guide. He knew so much about the Mexican culture and history. And he was also so cool and friendly! We are definitely thankful we paid extra for a private tour, the pick up and drop off were prompt and so easy! Also we were able to go at our own pace and choose when we were ready to go onto the next activity. Would definitely tour with this company again, and certainly would request Juan as my guide!

5 stars just cant possibly represent how amazing and how unique of an experience you get with them . They have been the best , very helpful from start to finish (from when we were in Canada till the end of our Tours) .They were Very informative and very respectful. We highly recommend them as this has truly been the best Tour experience we have ever had . We will definitely be seeing them again when we are back. Juan and Clare did a fantastic Job and I cannot thank them enough for the absolutely amazing adventures and experience that we had. Thank you again and we will definitely see you again soon! T & D

Wow, just wow!! What a fantastic day we had! Arturo was a great guide, he let us enjoy the trip from start to finish. Arturo is very knowledgeable of the cenote’s history so it was really a pleasure to spend time with him today. The cenote itself is magical, an experience you can’t tell another people about… you must see it with your own “Ojos”!! Last but not least, our driver Carlos was really good too. He drives safely. Recommended.

We did the tour to Coba and cenotes and loved it! Getting to know the Mayan history and bike through the jungle was the best part. We were given options for cenotes and picked ones that fit the experience we wanted. The company communicated everything clearly and the day went smoothly. Dulce was very knowledgeable and fluent in English and Spanish which make it very easy for us. Omar was prompt and friendly. Highly recommend!! Would only suggest the site update their info to say that since the pandemic hiking the Coba pyramid is no longer available.

The trip started early t 7 am but it was perfect timing. We got to the Mayan ruins in Tulum before the crowds. Had the lace pretty much to ourselves. The evening was nice too. Go there earlier so we had the place almost all to ourselves. Akumal was an okay experience. We did see some big sea tires, colorful fish and a sting ray. But it’s very crowded. Too touristy. . Rodrigo and Dukce were great and gave a very informative and organized tour. Would highly recommend them.

Had a absolutely fabulous trip with (Juan) JJ visiting the Mayan ruins, cenote and the turtles. I had really researched which private tour to do as there a lot on the market because of great reviews I went with this one. I’m so glad we did.

We did a tour this week with Arturo and our family had a blast. We did a tour with the company a few years ago and decided to return because the last one was so fun. Because we'd seen some of the cenotes the first trip, Arturo went out of his way to take us to new cenotes that we hadn't seen before, except for Pet Cemetery, which we wanted to experience again. Arturo is super friendly and made the trip a fun day for our family.

Amazing start to our week in Mexico. Wanting to see the sights, but short on time this express Tulum tour was just what we needed, picked up at 6.30 and back round the hotel pool for 11.30. Our guide Claire was really knowledgeable and friendly and took us round Tulum explaining exactly what we were looking at and how the Maya lived in Tulum. Claire happily answered all our questions (even the daft ones. Our boys aged 10 and 14 also enjoyed the tour and asked a lot of questions, Claire took lots of photos for me on my phone too, it’s rare to get photos of all 4 of us together so that was a great bonus. As we left there was huge queues to get in so we avoided the crowds and the heat of the day by doing this tour.

I can not say enough good about Absolute Adventure. We had one free morning on our vacation where we wanted to book an excursion to swim with turtles and see a cenote. Everything from initially booking online to day of excursion was top notch, professional and convenient. They even confirmed via text day before to confirm hotel, pick up time, etc. Day of our guide was Arturo and he was right on time waiting for us, very professional, polite and accommodating. Between him and our driver we felt safe at all times which is very important. Both the turtles and cenote Arturo recommended were incredible. Exactly what we were hoping to see. We even got to do this crazy zip line which was totally unexpected and so fun. We unfortunately had to skip the lunch to head back to our hotel for another engagement but definitely next time! The guide (JJ) was amazing! Super personable and knowledgeable about the Mayan culture. Rodrigo was a fantastic driver. The two made a great combo and our group thoroughly enjoyed the day. Highly recommend using them to tour ruins and cenotes as they made the day super easy and fun.

Absolutely perfect! I was looking into tours through our hotel but they didn’t have what I was looking for. Absolute adventures had exactly what we wanted and the prices were better to!! Our tour guide, Manuel, was fun and so knowledgeable. He gave us a few recommendations and boy was he right!!! He was so good and patient with the kids as well. We had the best day ever and plan on booking one more tour with him before we leave!!

Great tour every stop of the way, we loved the Mayan Ruins and learning about the history, the snorkeling was amazing, and the cenotes were beautiful. Overall 10/10 experience, everyone visiting Tulum should do this excursion.

Had Juan as our private tour guide who took care of every need, guiding, educating and picture taking. Had a great time wondering through Tulum with his understanding of culture and history. Moved at our desired pace and then to the next site. The cenote was amazing and he guided us through a unique safe experience. We ended with a wonderful Mayan lunch before heading back to resort. We truly felt cared for for the entire trip. Thanks Juan and absolute adventure!

Excellent tour! We were picked up at our place first thing in the morning and got to the cenote when there weren’t any other people. Our guide was really nice and very accommodating. He took us through the two main Cenotes and the bat caves. It’s a tight squeeze to get to bat caves but so worth it. This is my second cenote and I’m so glad I did this one! And the tour guide was great!

Clare was great, engaging tour guide. She was friendly and patiently fielded all of my questions about Tulum and the Mayans. We visited "Taak Bi Ha" cenote which was amazing. She took the time to chat with us about cave diving and her experiences with it. I didn't realize how busy Akumal would be how heavily managed it is because of all the people. I think if I did it again I would have chosen the snorkeling off of Tulum instead.

It was awesome,great, and amazing all at once! My favorite was probably the zip line, then snorkeling, then exploring the caves, then swimming, and so much more! The vans were really nice, and so we’re the people. I really liked the lunch, but the only things I didn’t like was that the water was a little cold and the ride was 2 hours. But those things don’t matter that much, do they?
