Great one day excursion Tulum, cenote and turtlesWe booked for a family of four, parents and 11 and 8 year old. The driver was Hugo and our guide was Dulce. 7.30am pick from the hotel. An hour?s drive to Tulum. Just the right amount of walking around the site with kids that are not keen on walking much! We then went on to a cenote. We chose Nicte-Ha as an open one for light and easy swimming. Then lunch - simple but delicious tacos at Junita restaurant. Finally, off to Akumel for swimming with turtles. We saw 4! Highly recommended activity. Dulce was a friendly guide, told us lots about the ruins and helped to learn/ practice snorkelling.

Fantastic day outDid the private tour to Chich?n Itza, cenote and lunch in Valladolid as a family of 12. JJ was our guide and was so knowledgeable and passionate about his job. He told us all about the history of the Mayan and Aztec cultures which was what we wanted (not just a photo opportunity visit). We were 8 adults and 4 children and he engaged with us all and made the tour so much fun. A real asset to the company and a great, well run trip all round. Would definitely recommend.

A good time!A great experience! The guide was friendly, knowledgeable and well organized. We went on our tour of Tulum first thing in the morning when it wasn't too hot, and there weren't tons of other people around. JJ was friendly, happy and knew what he was about, and made the experience lots of fun. Our driver, Yosmar, was a good driver who did his best to get us around safely and avoid a ton of potholes at the same time. The trip to Cenote Taak Bi Ha was fun, definitely a different experience to my usual spelunking stuff, since the water was only mildly colder than the air and easy to adapt to quickly. The cave was interesting, lots of little bitty fish in the water and a few bats in the stalagtites. They provided snorkeling gear that was clearly of good make, though my particular set of goggles didn't seal well because of my beard. After we all went to a nearby restaurant (Juanita's) and had an excellent meal, I got the mixed plate and tried a bit of everything, it was all good. It's a bit of a pity that our guide will be retiring after this season, I would absolutely have hired him for another tour on another trip.

Chichen Itz? Tour with AutisticSonYesterday our family took a once in a lifetime trip to explore Chichen Itza. We chose Absolute Adventure because we wanted a more private and flexible tour. They ?absolutely? delivered! We appreciated that we had a separate driver (Enrique) and guide (Eddy). While Eddy discussed the days events and answered our many questions, Enrique focused on driving. The actual tour of Chichen Itza was amazing! Eddy did an excellent job of explaining the significance of the various structures. Our lunch in Valladolid was delicious and a special treat! We are traveling with our son who has autism. We informed Absolute Adventure of this when we scheduled our tour. Eddie was the perfect guide! He was so kind and patient with our son! He brought some items to help with our son. Our son used his neck fan. It kept him cool, plus the white noise hum of the fan helped our son?s stress in crowds. 110% recommend Absolute Adventure!! Ask for Enrique and Eddy!!!

Amazing experienceThis was an amazing experience for our family. The best part was our private guide Eddy. He was very knowledgeable and helpful with everything. When you spend 9 hours on a tour, it?s important that you enjoy the tour guide?s company and he was fantastic. We actually miss him! Thanks the the great experience:)

Great experience for all the family.Wonderful trip today to see the turtles (rays and many fish) followed by a cenote swim and lunch at a local restaurant. We were 2 adults with a 15 and 12 year old. Everyone loved it and went home very happy! Our guide Arturo was excellent - great information and advised us on which cenote to go to given other trips planned.

Perfect Private Tour - Beat the Crowds!Booking this private tour was absolutely the best decision?it helped us avoid crowds and wasted time picking up other guests. It really made the most of our day, allowing us to visit Chich?n Itz? in the cooler morning hours, which made a big difference. Our guide, Josh, was knowledgeable and engaging, giving us great insight into what we were seeing and helping bring the history to life. Our driver, Hugo, was excellent as well?friendly, professional, and made the journey smooth and comfortable throughout. The highlight of the day was definitely the cenote?we arrived early when it was still quiet and uncrowded, which made it feel incredibly special. We also enjoyed a lovely traditional lunch in Valladolid, a beautiful spot that added to the overall experience. The transportation was comfortable, and the added touches of drinks and snacks were much appreciated. Overall, a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend!

Perfect Day in Tulum, Cenote and turtle encounterAnother amazing day with Josh and Hugo! This tour to Tulum, a cenote, and swimming with turtles was unforgettable from start to finish. Arriving early at Tulum meant we could really enjoy the site before it got busy. Josh brought everything to life with his knowledge, sharing fascinating history and insights, and he took care of all the tickets so we could stay completely stress-free. Hugo once again made the journey smooth and comfortable. We then visited Nicte-Ha Cenote, which was absolutely beautiful. We were the only people there, which made it feel incredibly special and peaceful. Lunch was fantastic at a lovely restaurant with thoughtful touches the children loved?swings and a football table kept them entertained while we relaxed. The food itself was delicious. The final highlight was swimming with turtles?an unforgettable experience. During our 45-minute tour, we saw three turtles, which felt like such a privilege. Swimming out to the edge of the reef, we also saw some beautiful fish and truly felt immersed in nature. Tip wear a rash vest as the life jacket rubs your skin after a while. Once again, Josh handled everything seamlessly, allowing us to completely relax and enjoy every moment of the day. Highly recommended!

Looking forward to a new adventure next year!We were a group of 10 with varying ages from 6-76 & everyone enjoyed it! For the Tulum ruins tour, our tour guide Josh, came equipped with a Tablet with photos of what the various buildings, cultural events, etc., would have looked like. The children loved it, brilliant! Josh really kept them engaged, was endlessly patient with their questions & it was the perfect length of tour for them especially. The 6 adults were impressed as well, we found the walking tour relaxing, well organised & informative with beautiful views of the coastline. Next up was the Cenote snorkel at Taak Bi Ha & another huge success. Just stunning. Last was the lunch at a unique jungle restaurant. The food was delicious & again, enjoyed by all. Thanks Josh, it was a memorable event for all of us.

Great day in Tulum CenotesWonderful experience. Pickup was prompt, driver and guider were professional and friendly. Eddie, our guide, couldn?t have been more helpful and affable. Even the 90 minute commute flew by as we chatted with Eddie and learned about the area. The cenotes were super fun and a perfect way to spend the day with family. We all felt a real connection to our guide and would recommend him and this company without reservation. Thanks Eddie!

Best Private TourOur private tour exceeded every expectation. From the very beginning, our guide and driver were warm, engaging, and incredibly organized, setting a clear tone for a seamless day. Their thoughtful planning allowed us to move effortlessly through each stop, avoiding the typical lines and crowds, which made the experience feel both intimate and unrushed. What truly set this tour apart was our guide Eddy?s depth of knowledge. His passion for Mayan history brought Chichen Itza and the surrounding region to life in a way that felt immersive and meaningful, rather than just informational. You could feel the history, not just hear it. One of the highlights was the flexibility and attentiveness to our family. When my son mentioned wanting a bit more adventure, they happily adjusted our itinerary and took us to a stunning cenote where he could swing into the water from a rope. It ended up being one of his favorite moments of the entire trip. Even the drive itself was enjoyable, as we had the chance to connect more personally with Eddy and learn about the culture beyond the typical tourist lens. Every detail felt intentional, thoughtful, and tailored. An absolutely exceptional experience. I cannot recommend this private Chichen Itza tour highly enough.

Highly recommended experience!!!We have hired the private tour of two cenotes, Taak Bi Ha and Nicte Ha, which have been spectacular. We spent a wonderful morning in the company of the guide Dulce, very friendly and with good knowledge of the area and with driver Hugo, also very friendly and attentive at all times. They have arrived to pick us up at the hotel very punctual and the day has gone perfect thanks to them. Highly recommended the experience!!!

Unforgettable turtle/cenote tourI went on this excursion with a group of friends and we had the best time from start to finish. Swimming with the turtles and then exploring the beautiful Taak Bi Ha Cenote is something our group will never forget and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Everything felt seamless and stress free, including the pick up and drop off from our hotel. A special shoutout to our driver Hugo, who was fantastic, and to our guide Arturo, who made an already beautiful experience even more enjoyable. He was incredibly informative, engaging, and kept our whole group smiling the entire time. The cherry on top was the delicious meal at the end of the tour, which was the perfect way to wrap up such an unforgettable day together. Thank you!!

Amazing Day Discovering CenotesThis was such an incredible day! We explored 3 different cenotes with our amazing tour guide Arturo and our driver Hugo. Each cenote was a unique and beautiful experience and Arturo was so knowledgeable, patient with the kids, and took us on a grand adventure. We had a delicious lunch and it was truly an experience we will never forget!
