We had a fantastic trip to Chichen Itza, one of the Cenotes and Valladolid with our guide Dulce and driver Omar. Dulce was so knowledgeable and really lovely. A huge thank you to Omar who safely got us from A to B kept us hydrated and cool throughout the heat. Would 100% recommend Absolute Adventure to anyone looking for a private tour in Mexico. This excursion was absolutely the highlight of our vacation! From the moment our driver, Rodrigo, picked us up, we knew we were in great hands. He ensured we had a smooth, safe, and comfortable trip to and from our resort. Our tour guide, Arturo, was phenomenal—extremely knowledgeable and incredibly personable. He took us snorkeling through the breathtaking Dos Ojos cenote and really elevated the experience by sharing fascinating historical and archaeological facts about the cave system. After the cenote swim, we were treated to a private, traditional lunch prepared by a local Mayan family. I can honestly say it was some of the best Mexican food I have ever had in my life. We capped off the afternoon with a fantastic tasting session alongside Arturo, sampling a wide variety of spirits, from Mezcal to high-end Extra Añejo tequilas. We cannot thank Arturo and Rodrigo enough for making this such an unforgettable experience for my fiancé and me. If you are considering this tour, do not hesitate—book it! Highly recommend.

Dulce was our tour guide for cenote swim days, swimming with the turtles and a Tulum trip. The provided gear, and great guidance. Our drivers were Hugo and Ivan- and we felt safe in their spacious vans for a family of five. Our rides were always timely and patient so we could enjoy our surroundings. Dulce was a calming and very knowledgeable presence during our tour and it was great to get insights on how contemporary life is in Mexico, as well as her extensive knowledge of the Tulum history. I would highly recommend this tour group! And it is fair to say that the best meals I had were the ones that dolce took us to after our excursions- tasty local meals.

We booked two private tours with Absolute Adventure Mexico, and both were outstanding. Everything was very well planned, with thoughtful stops along the way and great timing that helped us avoid the crowds. Our guides, Luis and Arturo, were fantastic—extremely knowledgeable and engaging, keeping both the kids and the adults interested throughout. They really made the experience special. Our drivers, Yosmar and Enrique, were excellent as well—always safe, professional, and attentive. We especially appreciated that they joined us for lunch and recommended delicious local food, which made the experience even more authentic. Highly recommend this company for anyone looking for a memorable and well-organized tour!

Our guide, Eddy was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable of the area and all the things we did. He has a great personality and sense of humor that was appropriate to our group and activities. The day was well planned out and was a great adventure for our first experience in Mexico! Our driver (Manuel?) was also great. He was safe, calm and also helpful when needed. We all had a great time exploring Tulum and going swimming and snorkeling at a Cenote. Thank you!!

Our family of 5 had a fantastic tour to Akumal and Taak Bi Ha Centote. Juan was a terrific guide - very personable and knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. We were lucky to see many sea turtles and initially having the Cenote to ourselves for snorkeling. We enjoyed a delicious local lunch and our 10-year-old was thrilled to feed and hold a rescued parrot courtesy of Juan!

Eddy and Rodrigo were fantastic tour guides at Chichen Itza. Eddy had deep knowledge of the site and was able to answer many of our random questions. It was clear he had spent a long time studying Mayan history! Would recommend touring with Eddy Rodrigo at Absolute Adventure to anyone!

Our private tour with Absolute Adventure Mexico to Chichén Itzá was one of the highlights of our trip. Booking the tour was straightforward. They communicated all the necessary details in advance. On the day of the tour, they were right on time. The entire tour lasted from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. There were two people in our party. The van was spotless and comfortable, and they had a cooler with drinks and snacks for the journey. Taking the toll highway from Playa del Carmen made a huge difference; we avoided traffic and had a smooth, relaxed ride. During the drive, we had great conversations. We covered everything from history and politics to social issues and current events. Arriving at Chichén Itzá early (around 8:00 a.m.) was great. We did a lot of walking. We beat the massive crowds and experienced the site in a much more peaceful and meaningful way. The place itself is absolutely stunning, truly breathtaking, and Eddy’s depth of knowledge made it even more impactful. His explanations were engaging and easy to follow. He was also very patient as we took so many pictures. After exploring, we headed to a cenote. This one is in a cave. It wasn’t crowded at all, so we were able to fully enjoy the serene atmosphere. The water was incredibly refreshing, and the setting was beautiful. A perfect way to end our tour and get all the dust off, and get away from the heat. We wrapped things up with lunch at a lovely restaurant. It was clean, the service was great, and the food and drinks were delicious, a perfect way to end the experience. Overall, this tour was great. It was well-organized, personalized, and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. We paid $426.96 USD, and it was a great value. We would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Eddy and Omar, for such a memorable day!

Amazing day!This excursion was magical, definitely the highlight of our week in Riviera Maya. Our driver Ivan was so lovely, and our guide Joshua was just the best - down to earth, knowledgeable, engaged and engaging, and very patient with our 6 and 8 yr old kiddos! We got to Tulum right when it opened (I think we were the first people in!) which was perfect because it was already quite hot. Joshua shared so much interesting history, was happy to answer all our questions, and helped us find great spots for memorable pictures. What I appreciated about this tour as opposed to most of the other companies I was looking at, was that you are given several different cenotes to choose from, so you can figure out which one(s) are closest to what you're looking for. We wanted one open lagoon-type one and one cave-type underground one, so we did Nicte Ha and Taak Bi Ha. They did not disappoint!!! Both were beyond magical, and we all had the most amazing time floating around and exploring. We all loved both cenotes, but my 8you particularly loved Nicte Ha (and jumping in!) and my 6yo really loved Taak Bi Ha. Joshua was so wonderful - patient, helpful, and informative, which also giving space for our family to enjoy our time together. Ivan was also so kind and helped our kiddos with their wetsuits! We were on the fence about whether to do the lunch or not, but I'm so glad we did! The food was great (especially in comparison to the all-inclusive resort we were staying at) but the vibe was even better. So laid-back, with hammocks and swings that our kids got such a kick out of. I can't say enough good things about our day, it is definitely something we will remember for a long time!

It was a great experience! Our family had a fantastic day visiting Chichen Itza , Cenote Xkeken and Valladolid. Eddy and Josmar were a great team! Eddys knowledge about the ancient ruins was impressive and we all learned so much. The private tour with pick up and drop off made it easy and stress free and was well worth it!

The tour guide and driver were excellent! Very safe driver and kept our things safe while we were on tour. The tour guide Dulce was very kind and knew all the details about Chichen Itza! Amazing Experience to Akumal & CenoteOur group of 5 friends did the private Akumal and Cenote snorkeling tour with the lovely Cristina as our guide. This was a highlight of our trip! Great tour from young to oldIncredible experience for our family ages 13 to 83. The booking process was incredibly simple and they were very accommodating to help us with someof the needs of our older family. The day of the tour we were with JJ and Hugo, who were absolutely amazing giving us an incredibletour of Tulum with great information and then providing us really fun opportunities to swim with the turtles and have a cenote to ourselves. Would highly recommend using them and requesting JJ and Hugo as your guides we were very impressed with everything!

My family of 9 (ages 13 and 35-83) from Toronto area, Kingston and Kelowna had an absolute blast with Juan at the ruins, swimming with turtles and the cenote. Thanks Cristina and Ivan!This was such a fun tour! Cristina was a wonderful guide and full of so much historical and cultural knowledge. While snorkeling we saw four sea turtles, puffer fish, and a sting ray. The cenote was absolutely amazing and visually stunning. Wonderful experience start to finish!

Coba Ruins and Punta Laguna Monkey ReserveMy family and I had a great time on our tour with Juan and Omar. We visited the Punta Laguna Monkey Reserve and the Coba Ruins. It was an exciting day full of adventure. We were fortunate enough to see some monkeys in their own habitat, take the zip line over the Laguna, do a little canoeing, ride bikes through the ruins and even climbed to the top of one of the pyramids. Juan was very kind, knowledgeable and passionate. We then ended the tour with a delicious meal at one of the local Coba restaurants. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great day full of variety and excitement.

My family and I had a wonderful time on our tour with Dulce and Hugo. Dulce was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Akumal and the turtles and the Tulum ruins were all fascinating. The cenote was our favorite part of the tour and absolutely beautiful with a zen feel. The tour was well organized and professional. I would definitely recommend this tour agency to anyone looking for a well planned out day.

JJ was an outstanding tour guide for our cenotes and turtle tour. He took us to the Cenotes before crowds arrived and it was so serene! He told us about the formations and we got to see a bat cave. We appreciated his personality, his stories, and our shared commonalities!! . The van Fer drove was nice with refreshments available. Highly recommend.

We went a as family of four, children aged 11 and 8 year old. The driver was Hugo and our guide was Dulce. 7.30am pick from the hotel. An hour’s drive to Tulum. Just the right amount of walking around the site with kids that are not keen on walking much! We then went on to a cenote. We chose Nicte-Ha as an open one for light and easy swimming. Then lunch - simple but delicious tacos. Finally, off to Akumel for swimming with turtles. We saw 4! Highly recommended activity. Dulce was a friendly guide, told us lots about the ruins and helped to learn/ practice snorkelling.

Due to the driving distance and length of the day we selected a Private Express Ek Balam Tour to maximize efficiency. Our Guide & Driver, Cristina & Enrique were both fabulous. Cristina’s knowledge of this impressive site was extensive and informative. Enrique was very pleasant and professional. They made a great team and we thoroughly enjoyed our day! Lunch was not the typical “buffet” but a delicious plate of local specialties. Highly recommend Absolute Adventures who have curated perfect itineraries.
