Fantastic experience. We used Absolute adventure tours for Chichen Itza and Akumel, for swimming with turtles. Both were full day tours with multiple sights and stops. Everything was perfect from start to finish. From booking (Claire was super responsive) to the driver (Enrique) and guide (Arturo). The vehicle was clean and new, time-keeping perfect, the drive smooth and safe and the guide knowledgeable and personable. He helped keep the kids engaged throughout also. Brilliant day. Went to the Tulum ruins and a beautiful cenote. Arturo’s knowledge, patience and enthusiasm made the trip memorable. We were amazingly looked after with no pressure to rush or purchase anything. I’d strongly recommend this tour. The cenote we chose had a zip line and huge jumps. But it was still incredibly peaceful.

We’ve just arrived back at the hotel after the most amazing trip to Chichén Itzá and I honestly can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we were picked up, Josh and our driver Rod took such good care of us. It’s a fairly long drive, and with two children it can feel even longer, but Josh made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He regularly checked whether we needed to stop for comfort breaks, which was really appreciated. When we arrived, Josh sorted everything with the tickets and made the whole experience completely stress-free. His knowledge of the Mayan civilisation is incredible and he happily answered all of our questions — and there were plenty, especially from the children! He showed us so much interesting information, pointed things out that we would definitely have missed on our own and made sure we got to all the best spots for photos. It really was such an incredible experience, and Josh genuinely made the day extra special for us. I also can’t speak highly enough of the Express Private Tour. In my opinion, it is absolutely worth paying the extra money. We got there before the huge crowds and were able to explore before all the coaches started arriving. We also avoided the hottest part of the day, which was a massive bonus, especially with children, as there is very little shade. We’ve already booked another snorkelling excursion through the same company, and we were so pleased to find out that Josh will be looking after us again! Honestly, what an incredible day. We made some amazing memories as a family and we’re so grateful to Josh and Rod for making the whole experience so enjoyable and special. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

Great day out for all the family. We had a brilliant time with Josh our guide and Rod our driver. Pick up from hotel was seems and new a/c mini bus very clean and comfortable. We loved swimming with turtles at the national park in Akumel - we saw turtles, fish, coral and a barracuda with 2 licensed guides who looked after our group of 10 aged 6-48. The seaweed is awful at our hotel beach but it was fine at Akumel, it was lovely to see a pretty beach while we were in Mexico. Afterwards we went to jaguar cenote for some adventure! We cliff jumped, swam and did the zip line which was all included and teens loved and then had a delicious traditional meal at a beautifuk restaurant to finish. Thanks Josh for a lovely day out we felt we were in good hands.Great day out for all the family

Great Tour!We had an absolutely brilliant day with Absolute Adventure on our private Chichén Itzá, cenote and Valladolid tour. Everything was organised really well from start to finish, and having a private tour made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal. Eddy and Rod were fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable and great company throughout the day. They gave us loads of interesting information about the history and culture of the area without ever making it feel like we were being rushed from one stop to the next. Chichén Itzá was incredible and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico. The cenote was another amazing experience and a perfect way to cool off afterwards, before finishing with a visit to the beautiful town of Valladolid. The whole day was well planned, comfortable and enjoyable, and we felt very well looked after throughout. If you’re staying around Playa del Carmen, Cancún or Tulum and want to experience these places without being part of a large group tour, I would definitely recommend Absolute Adventure. 5 stars. We did a private tour to Chichen Itza and it was brilliant. The minibus was really comfortable and stocked with cold drinks and snacks. We stopped along the way for comfort breaks and the journey was nicely broken up by our guide Luis, who shared videos and history of the region and some really interesting wider facts about Mexico. Luis was a brilliant guide and he was so knowledgable about the site and the wildlife and fauna. We really recommend an early hotel pick up in order to get to Chichen Itza when it opens - much less crowded and comfortable temperature-wise. We also stopped off in Valladolid for some authentic Mexican food and a small tour. We cannot thank our guide, Luis and driver, Enrique enough for such a great experience.

Tulum private tour with cenote and tequila tasting. Our family had a great day with our tour guide Arturo and driver Rodrigo. The tour of Tulum ruins was very interesting and Arturo was very knowledgeable about each structure. The swim in the cenote was refreshing and everyone in the family enjoyed jumping from the platforms. The traditional lunch was delicious and we sampled and learned a lot from the tequila tasting. We did 3 tours with Absolute Adventure Mexico: 1. Chichen Itza/Valladolid/Cenote, Tulum/Coba/Cenote, Akumal Bay/Cenote. All three were awesome! We had the same tour guide Luis, who was an incredible tour guide. He had deep knowledge of the sites, provided interesting insights and context for what we were seeing, and doubled as an Instagram influencer, setting up photos for us, making sure we captured these great memories. He had great energy throughout each tour and had great recommendations on things to see during the rest of our trip. Our drivers (Omar and Rodrigo) were great. The drives were safe and secure. We always had water and a cool car waiting for us, and everything was planned and timed perfectly. It was really great to see three different Mayan sites, they were all very unique and different. We debated stacking so many sites, but in the end it was well worth it. Also, since we did all tours with the same team, they helped us select Cenotes that were all very distinct, allowing us to go into partially open, fully enclosed, and cave-connected Cenotes so we saw a great variety of these natural wonders. All the sites were incredible, but my personal recommendation is don't sleep on Coba; there was something so unique about riding bikes through the jungle and coming up on the ruins that you can still hike on and walk through. The turtle watching in Akumal exceeded expectations. Even with the sargassum we saw at least 7 different turtles, various sea-life (including sting rays), and some coral reef. And of course, Chichen Itza is a must as it is so grand and a true icon of the ancient world. We could not have had a better time seeing these sites. I highly recommend Absolute Adventure, and be sure to request Luis!

Had Arturo as our guide and Hugo as our driver, and the whole experience was so much fun! I think being with family and having such a genuine and amazing guide is what makes these adventures even more memorable. Arturo was such a kind and welcoming person throughout the entire experience. Arturo was an absolutely fantastic guide and made our experience in Tulum one we’ll genuinely remember. What we appreciated most was how personal the entire experience felt. It was just our family, so we never felt rushed or like we were being moved through a typical crowded tour. Arturo took the time to talk with us, answer our questions, share his knowledge about the area, and make sure everyone was having a good time. Beyond being a great guide, he was simply a really down-to-earth, kind, and genuine person. By the end of the experience, it felt much more like we had spent the day exploring Tulum with someone we knew rather than just being taken around on a tour. If you’re booking with Absolute Adventure, I couldn’t recommend Arturo enough. He made an already beautiful experience that much better, and he absolutely deserves the recognition. We’re very grateful we got to have him as our guide!

We had a wonderful experience visiting two cenotes near Cancun with our family of 4. Our guide Luis was great, very knowledgeable and we’ve learned a lot about cenotes, the underground river systems and Mexico in general. The ride was comfortable with AC, cold drinks and life jackets were provided. The lunch was also good. The two cenotes we visited were called Nicte ha and Taak bi ha. One was open and the other one closed. They were both very easy to access and close to the parking location. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Great day out with wonderful guide. Luis was our guide and Rodrigo was our driver and they were absolutely fantastic. Our group ranged from 2 to 82 and they made the trip perfect for everyone, accommodating everyone’s needs and making sure the experience was right for them. Amazing tour the cenotes were beautiful. Luis was the best tour guide I ever had, he was insightful, engaging and super helpful. He got us to the cenote early and we had it to ourselves to be able to enjoy the sights and sounds undisturbed which was incredible. I would absolutely request him again next time we take a tour.

Took our 3rd trip with Absolute Adventure during our stay, and what a memorable trip they made. Coba is stunning, the guides are full of knowledge about the history, language and culture. Loved the tricycle taxi around the site, really helps in the heat. Amazing to be able to climb the main temple and see the view across the jungle, well worth the sore knees. Once again the early start proved to be the best tip. Less crowded here than other sites. Guide also told us about newer sites and finds so cannot wait to visit Mexico again. Don't hesitate to book these tours, excellent value and you are well taken care of

We had such a wonderful trip with guide Eddy and driver Rodrigo. Rodrigo was so kind to our boys and we felt in safe hands with him. Eddy our guide, was so personable and exceedingly knowledgeable about the history of the area. He answered our questions as they arose and was a joy to converse with. Great tour and well worth the price!What an experience! Well worth the cost. Arriving at Chichen Itza when it opened, before the heat of the day and seeing old town Chichen Itza was fabulous! Our guide Eddy was very knowledgeable and guided us through Chichen Itza with ease. It was amazing to see old town Chichen Itza which most people do not take the time to visit. Our driver, Omar, was very professional and safe! It was a pleasant ride. Thank you again to Eddy for taking the time to answer all our questions and supplying us with so much information on the tour! Our 10 year old grandson remembered so much of what you said! The private tour was really worth it since we get to both sites before rush hours, this enhances the experience so much! Luis made sure to inform us of fascinating historical facts but also took care of us like his own friends thinking about every detail so we don’t miss out and take the best pictures! A great, no-stress way to explore Tulum!Fantastic experience. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but the knowledge, detail, friendliness and professionalism was well worth it. Our guide, Eddy, and our driver, Enrique, made it a memorable experience. We truly "beat the crowds" as there was only one other couple at the park when we first arrived - by the time we left 90 minutes later, we could see it was going to be a busy, crowded day. The experience was no-stress - Eddy and Enrique were at our hotel 5+ minutes early, we didn't have to worry about traffic, they had our park passes set to go and knew exactly what they were doing. Plus we learned more about the Mayan culture in that short trip than what we had on our bus tour to Chichen Itza plus a day at Xcaret the two prior day. Highly recommended!A great, no-stress way to explore Tulum!

We had a great time with our guide Arturo. Swimming in the cenote was amazing after the visit to Tulum. We were able to bring our whole group of 15 people and they allowed our 4 year old to go on the tour and swim.
