2 Cenote TourJosh was amazing! We did 2 cenotes. Sac Actun and Yal-ku lagoon. He did an great job telling us all about the history and was so kind. At one point he did have "save" 🙂 my mom(age 75) because she went a little past where he said to stop and the current got a little to strong for her to swim against. He had eyes on us at all times! The cenotes were both AMAZING! So happy we went with Absolute Adventures!!! Will use them again!!!

Loved this tour!Excellent trip. Communication both before and during the trip was exceptional. Guide picked us up right on time and was very attentive, knowledgeable and accommodating. We loved this private tour! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Coba and cenotes to ourselves!We had a private tour for our family of 5 of Coba and two cenotes. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the best was that we beat the crowds everywhere we went! We arrived at Coba just after 8am and there were very few people around. We had the whole pyramid temple to ourselves - hiked up, view a the top, hiked down, with no one else around! Same at the cenotes. We visited two underground cenotes afterward and were the only people there for a swim which was pretty special. Would definitely recommend! Friendly service, good communication, great schedule. Price seems to be consistent with any other private tour.

"We enjoyed a fabulous day with Juan and Enrique! They arrived at our hotel bright and early (and on time) such that we made it to Chichen Itza early and enjoyed short lines and photos of just us! Juan had already purchased our adult tickets and was well-versed with how to efficiently obtain the children's tickets. He took us on an informative tour, focused on hitting the most populated areas first, and knowing exactly where the shady spots were to learn more about the site. After the tour, they had plenty of cold drinks and snacks in the van ready for us, which was a pleasant and needed treat! The cenote was a stunning and refreshing stop before a delicious lunch in Valladolid. Juan patiently answered all of our questions and was incredibly knowledgeable. Enrique was a great driver and kept us all safe. They're a great team! I would absolutely book another trip with Absolute Adventure Mexico next time we're in Cancun!!

Incredible Ek Balam and CenoteI didn?t see it on the list, but we actually went to Ek Balam and the Xcanche Cenote. INCREDIBLE! Loved the whole day. The hours flew by. Our guide, Artuero, was so happy and fun and knowledgeable. We got to climb clear up the main pyramid and look around for miles in every direction. The Cenote was the perfect temperature to explore and swim and jump off the sides for an hour. What an amazing day!

Great family experience to Ek Balam and cenoteGreat experience with Arturo visiting the ruins at Ek Balam and the nearby cenote. Arturo was knowledgeable, very friendly and attentive to our needs and preferences which was no easy feat with a group of 10. Lunch was delicious at a local restaurant with great facilities.

We did Chichén Itzá with lunch at Valladolid. It was incredible. Juan and Ivan were nothing but informational and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend it. Juan not only knew so many unique details about the ruins but made our trip even better by knowing all of the locals. This made everything even smoother and knew what to recommend in the area. Thanks to them both!!

Absolute Adventure Mexico was awesome and so convenient! Josh was our guide, and let me tell you this guy was awesome. Josh was super knowledgeable about Chichen Itza and showed us things that you would never have known. Josh used an iPad to show us pictures to explain the background information and it was super helpful. He also catered to what we wanted and was super terrific. Going here was something that has been on my dad’s bucket list for a long time, and this company made making this happen a success. Rodri was our driver and he was great - we had no issues. This private tour made going to Chichén Itza easy, if you are planning on going definitely use these guys. Overall great service and great tour guide. Keep up the great work! Also Josh and Rodri you are the best!

Absolute adventures is a gateway into the history of Mexico. I went on a tour with Josh to Chichen itza this march. This trip was one I will never forget. Without Josh I don’t think I would have made it to the temples! He helped me navigate the park and he was very informed on the history. He could answer every question you could think of. You wouldn’t have gotten the same experience if you just read the signs, Josh allowed me to learn so much more. I would 100% recommend Josh for a tour guide, always there cracking jokes and have a good time. Thank you Josh!!

Highly recommendSo pleased we opted for the private tour rather than going along with other travelers. Picked our group of 4 up on time from our hotel. Great communication throughout the booking process. Christina was our guide for the day along with George our driver. Both great at their jobs. Early entrance into chichen itza before the crowds was a great recommendation by the tour. Also entrance into an amazing C?note before the rush so a great experience. Then Christina took us to a traditional Mayan restaurant and explained all the dishes so nice to try something from the region. Finished off with a look around Valladolid town before heading back to our hotel. Great memories made possible by this excellent tour.

Our cenote tour was excellent from start to finish! Eddie and Omar arrived early to pick us up and were ready to go, which we really appreciated. Eddie was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, the local culture, and the cenotes we visited, which made the experience even more special. Lunch at Juanita’s Restaurant was also fantastic and a great addition to the day. We highly recommend Absolute Adventures, and especially Eddie and Omar, for an amazing cenote tour experience!

We did the Chichen Itza tour including denotes and lunch in Valladolid. Our van was waiting for us in the early morning as scheduled. Our guide was Arturo and he was fabulous! He was very knowledgeable about Mayan history and answered all of our questions on the tour. We learned a lot and I am so glad we chose this tour company. We did not feel rushed. Everyone in our group came back very satisfied. Thank you very much Arturo for a wonderful day!

We had a wonderful experience with Eddie on a Chichen Itza and cenote tour. We loved how knowledgeable he was and that he adjusted the tour to our interests. The stop at the cenote was just what we needed after the time spent in the sun. The Valladolid restaurant we visited for lunch was delish. We would happy tour with Eddie again.

This tour was wonderful! Our guides were great and very caring and attentive to all of our needs. We went with a group of 9 people and they were able to keep all of us comfortable, fed, and happy. We went to Jaguar & Tak Bi Ha - we loved both of these so much especially Jaguar that we will definitely be back and would also like to see the other cenotes! We took my 5 & 6 year old also and they had a blast swimming at both Cenotes. (if you don't want to jump off the cliff and only wanted to swim or zip line then you were able to do that) Make sure to bring water shoes and go earlier rather than later! We went early in the morning and had one of the Cenotes all to ourself which was lovely. The only thing I would say to the staff for improvement would be to the restaurant we ate at. The food was pretty bland for Mexican food. I don't mind my food bland usually and prefer it this way most of the time, however when I ate the chicken quesadillas I could really only taste tortilla and cheese.

We had a fantastic tour with Eddie! He brought us to two wonderful Cenotes and gave our large group a fabulous experience. Lunch was an awesome way to end the tour. Rodrigo did a great job ensuring we arrived to and from safely. Highly recommend!!

My sister booked us a private tour to Chichen Itsa and on another day to Tulum and a cave cenote ( pet cemetery) plus lunch. Our drive to chichen was about 2.5 hours each way and it was a very comfortable drive there and back with plenty of water and drinks for us. Our driver was very professional and helpful and our guide, Eduardo, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the ruins and the Mayan people. We were all very happy with our tour in all ways! For the Tulum ruins and cenote, it was much closer and we loved this guide too, Dulce, she was also very knowledgeable and experienced while being very friendly too. It was a bit intimidating getting in the cold dark water but we felt safe with our guide who was experienced. They provided wet suits and life jackets and Dulce waited for my daughter who was being pokey looking at the amazing surroundings. We felt safe on both tours and the prices were so reasonable for private tours!! I highly recommended this company they have a great team!!

Private tour to Tulum and cave cenote exceeded our expectations!My sister, my daughter, and I had a girls trip to the riviera Maya. This was our second private tour we booked with this company. Both were amazing and this one was closer to our resort. Our driver was friendly and professional, and our guide Dulce was very knowledgeable and experienced while guiding us through the Tulum ruins and through a cave cenote ( pet cemetery). They provided a nice ride and plenty of drinks while also providing wet suits and life jackets for the cenote. I think my sis and I were a bit intimidated by the cold water in the dark cave but Dulce made us feel safe. They gave us waterproof flashlights too! The water is so clear and those beautiful stalagmites are worth seeing! You kind of float around the cenote. Tulum was beautiful and the history was amazing. This group is a great team and very reasonable prices too for private tours!! Don?t forget to tip 15 to 20%!! They earn it. The times they give you are accurate and we are so happy we did both tours. Our other one was to chichen itsa. I highly recommend this tour company and this tour!!

Wonderful private tour of Chichen Itsa.As Chichen Itsa was 2.5 to 3 hours from our resort, we wanted to do a faster private tour that just included the ruins. It was so easy to book and we loved our driver ( forget name) and our guide, Eduardo. Both were professional, safe, and friendly. As three women alone that was very important to us. Eduardo was very knowledgeable and experienced with relating the history of the temples and the Mayan people. The trip there and back was very comfortable in a van with a cooler stocked with water and other drinks. We actually did another private tour with this company to a cenote and Tulum I?ll review separately. We found the prices for a private tour to be very reasonable! Don?t forget to tip 15 to 20% though!! They can?t work all of the year due to the rainy and hurricane season. Thanks for the great tour!!

very good experience of Mayan ruinsVisit to Coba was amazing as an ancient ruins, Mayan ruins. Site was very safe and well maintained. Must need guide to appreciate the visit otherwise it is meaningless. Facility at Coba was very well balanced without destroying the ruin aspect. It's not developed. Must arrange transportation to come back. Cenotes are good if you want to experience to swim in undergrounds cave. Both of the cenotes were smaller than Olympic size pool. Water was clean to swim. 10 minutes swim is enough for excitement. visually Coba and Centoes are not appealing. but you go for the experience. Nothing else to do there. 1.5 hr drive from Playa del Carmen on not-so-good road. Spent $420 for two and about 1/2 day for a round trip from Playa del Carmen in a private van with a driver, Rodri and an amazing tour guide Josh from Absolute Adventures.

Our Guide Arturo was great. He was knowledgeable about the geology, hydrology and history of Dos Osos Cenote. He was also very patient as my wife and I observed, asked questions, and absorbed the unique beauty of that place. I Highly recommend this tour.

Quick and easy private tour.Quick and easy. Pickup was on time at our resort. Toll fees for toll road and tickets to the site were all covered in package price streamlining the entry. Driver was professional and vehicle well maintained and clean. Guide was thorough, informative and to the point. If you are looking for a quick, easy, no stress to the point tour of Chichen Itza this is the way to go.

Dulce was an awesome guide who treated us like royalty! Her driver, Omar, was awesome also. They were delayed on the road by just five minutes or so from picking us up at our condo but were exceptionally communicative in messaging us their new arrival time. He personally saw to getting us outfitted and made sure our snorkeling gear was perfectly treated to keep from fogging up, that our flashlights had fresh batteries, and everyone had wetsuits who wanted them. Dulce took us into the back parts of the cenote that aren’t accessible without a professional guide and explained everything to us in great detail. Her English was perfect for those in the group who didn’t speak Spanish. Her lunch arrangements were fantastic as well. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to guide us!

We had a great time on our private Chichen Itza tour and cenote swim! Our guide, Eddie, was fantastic. He was personable, knowledgeable, and tailored the tour to our interests. The cenote was gorgeous and otherworldly, the perfect way to cool down after exploring the ruins in the hot sun. Highly recommend this company and Eddie as a tour guide!

Highly recommend! We did two tours with Dulce, the Chichen Itza - Valladolid and the Tulum - cenote (Taak Bi Ha) ones, and she was an amazing guide. She knows a lot of languages (English, Spanish and Italian perfectly) and she shared the most interesting insights. The tours were just gorgeous!

Great guide, amazing experienceJoshua was an excellent guide. The ruins offered fascinating insight regarding the Mayan culture, and Joshua gave us a solid overview. He was very knowledgeable, ready to dive deeper with any question. The cenote was a perfect followup to the heat of the ruins tour- refreshing, cool, and naturally beautiful. Swimming in the cenote was absolutely a highlight of the trip.

My family and I booked two private tours - one to Chichen Itza and one to Tulum+ the Pet Cemetery Cenote. Everything went smoothly. We felt very safe, our guides (Eduardo and Dulce) were very knowledgeable and friendly, and we had a lot of fun! I highly recommend the Pet Cemetery cenote if you're looking for a unique adventure. I do wish they allowed customers to pay the entire balance online before arriving, as the only options to pay for the remaining balance are cash or a 5% card fee the day of the tour.

Great Experience! Enrique was our driver and Eduardo was our tour guide at the Ruins and Cenotes. We really had a good time. We felt safe and comfortable during our trip to the Coba Ruins and the Cenotes. The van was air conditioned and roomy. They were also on time to pick us up directly at our resort lobby. I would recommend booking with Absolute Adventure again. Thanks for showing us a totally new experience that we will always remember as a family.
