Amazing tour guide!! Luis was the best. So friendly and the knowledge he had of the ruins was awesome. Even told us about animals and plants all related to the history of Mayans and how everything is related to today. Highly recommend!! If I could give more stars I would.

The trip to see the sea turtles and swim in the Pet Cemetery Cenote was amazing! Our guide Eddy was a blast and took care of us very well the whole time. Our driver Omar did a great job.

Arturo was a wonderful tour guide for our group’s tour to Chichen Itza. He was knowledgeable, took the time to constantly check in on us about if we had any questions or needed anything, and made the experience enjoyable overall. The vehicle was also stocked with a cooler full of beverages which was great especially for after the tour when we all really needed it! We highly recommend Arturo and Absolute Adventure!

My husband and I traveled to Playa del Carmen for the first time and booked an excursion to the Tulum ruins, a cenote and lunch. Our tour guide Eddy was beyond amazing! He was so knowledgeable and taught us so much about the area, the ruins, including a lot of info about Chichen Itza even though it wasn't on our tour. I learned a lot about the Mayan people and Aztecs. Unfortunately I underestimated my ability to handle the heat in the area but Eddy and our driver Rodrigo were amazing! I hung out in the shade so my husband could finish the tour, then Eddy got me out of the ruins so fast and back to Rodrigo. We had to cancel the cenote due to my heat exhaustion but they were so understanding and patient and got us back to our resort quickly. If ever in the area again I would absolutely try again and request Eddy as our tour guide!

At the third cenote, Arturo personally guided us and explained a great deal about cenotes, their formation, and their unique characteristics. This was not only impressive but also very interesting. For lunch, we went to a traditional Mexican restaurant. Again, there was absolutely nothing to complain about: The restaurant was clean and hygienic, the food was delicious, and everything perfectly complemented the tour. At the first two open cenotes, we had as much time as we wanted. Arturo and Rodrigo were both incredibly friendly, relaxed, and pleasant. We felt very well taken care of throughout the entire day. When we're back in Mexico and planning another trip, we'll definitely book with Adventure Absolute Mexico again—and specifically ask for Arturo and Rodrigo. I can’t express how great Absolute Adventure was for my family’s private Chichen Itza and Cenote tour. Our driver Enrique was friendly, got to our resort early and got us to each destination safely and efficiently. Our guide was Eddy and all we can say is WOW! He was so full of knowledge about Mexican history and culture including the Mayans. He talked with us our entire trip about so many things and we all walked away with so much knowledge and appreciation. We would definitely recommend Absolute Adventure for anyone interested in visiting a cultural site. We will definitely use Absolute Adventure for our next trip!

Brilliant day. Went to the Tulum ruins and a beautiful cenote. Arturo’s knowledge, patience and enthusiasm made the trip memorable. We were amazingly looked after with no pressure to rush or purchase anything. I’d strongly recommend this tour. The cenote we chose had a zip line and huge jumps. But it was still incredibly peaceful.

We did a private tour to Chichen Itza and it was brilliant. The minibus was really comfortable and stocked with cold drinks and snacks. We stopped along the way for comfort breaks and the journey was nicely broken up by our guide Luis, who shared videos and history of the region and some really interesting wider facts about Mexico. Luis was a brilliant guide and he was so knowledgable about the site and the wildlife and fauna. We really recommend an early hotel pick up in order to get to Chichen Itza when it opens - much less crowded and comfortable temperature-wise. We also stopped off in Valladolid for some authentic Mexican food and a small tour. We cannot thank our guide, Luis and driver, Enrique enough for such a great experience.

We did 3 tours with Absolute Adventure Mexico: 1. Chichen Itza/Valladolid/Cenote, Tulum/Coba/Cenote, Akumal Bay/Cenote. All three were awesome! We had the same tour guide Luis, who was an incredible tour guide. He had deep knowledge of the sites, provided interesting insights and context for what we were seeing, and doubled as an Instagram influencer, setting up photos for us, making sure we captured these great memories. He had great energy throughout each tour and had great recommendations on things to see during the rest of our trip. Our drivers (Omar and Rodrigo) were great. The drives were safe and secure. We always had water and a cool car waiting for us, and everything was planned and timed perfectly. It was really great to see three different Mayan sites, they were all very unique and different. We debated stacking so many sites, but in the end it was well worth it. Also, since we did all tours with the same team, they helped us select Cenotes that were all very distinct, allowing us to go into partially open, fully enclosed, and cave-connected Cenotes so we saw a great variety of these natural wonders. All the sites were incredible, but my personal recommendation is don't sleep on Coba; there was something so unique about riding bikes through the jungle and coming up on the ruins that you can still hike on and walk through. The turtle watching in Akumal exceeded expectations. Even with the sargassum we saw at least 7 different turtles, various sea-life (including sting rays), and some coral reef. And of course, Chichen Itza is a must as it is so grand and a true icon of the ancient world. We could not have had a better time seeing these sites. I highly recommend Absolute Adventure, and be sure to request Luis!

Had Arturo as our guide and Hugo as our driver, and the whole experience was so much fun! I think being with family and having such a genuine and amazing guide is what makes these adventures even more memorable. Arturo was such a kind and welcoming person throughout the entire experience. Arturo was an absolutely fantastic guide and made our experience in Tulum one we’ll genuinely remember. What we appreciated most was how personal the entire experience felt. It was just our family, so we never felt rushed or like we were being moved through a typical crowded tour. Arturo took the time to talk with us, answer our questions, share his knowledge about the area, and make sure everyone was having a good time. Beyond being a great guide, he was simply a really down-to-earth, kind, and genuine person. By the end of the experience, it felt much more like we had spent the day exploring Tulum with someone we knew rather than just being taken around on a tour. If you’re booking with Absolute Adventure, I couldn’t recommend Arturo enough. He made an already beautiful experience that much better, and he absolutely deserves the recognition. We’re very grateful we got to have him as our guide!
