We booked Absolute Adventure for 2 days which included 4 excursions. They made sure we beat the crowds, provided beverages and lunch. The drivers made you feel safe and we were able to leave our belongings in the van. Claire was very knowledgeable and Chris will keep you laughing. We had a great time! Highly Recommended.

The outstanding professionalism started with the booking process. Clair and Chris were wonderful to work with and were willing to answer any question we had during the booking process. Our trip to Tulum was amazing, we were the first group to enter, which in itself was priceless. We were able to truly take the experience Tulum without being crowded by other tourist. The authentic Mexican meal that we had was outstanding. We were also very impressed how willing they both were to work with us the week of our vacation and accommodating our trip around the weather so that we got the most out of our trip.

Chris was a wonderful guide yesterday on our trip to Tulum, cenote and snorkeling with the turtles. He made sure we were comfortable with the equipment and had lots of patience with me since I was a bit tentative. The scenery was beautiful, this was one of the highlights of our trip and Chris handled all the details very well.

We had an excellent couple of days sightseeing. We went to Chechen Itza, had a wonderful traditional lunch and beautiful swim in a Cenote one day. On another day we did a jungle adventure, ATV and zip lining. Both days were great family days and sightseeing made easy.

Amazing trip! So happy I had found out about Absolute Adventure by reading Trip Advisor!!! Kids age 19 and 22 (guess not kids anymore) loved the private tours and the entire experience!!! Spent two days with Claire and would highly recommend. Prior to our trip Claire answered all our questions in a timely fashion (via e-mail) and was so patient with all my questions as I tried to understand the options available. Prior to arriving, Claire was nice enough to let me know that the turtle tour would probably not be available because of the weather (the beaches were closed) and worked with me to plan an alternative trip. First to the Mayan ruins at Talum-private tour, unique delicious Mayan lunch and then the very private tour through an amazing Cenote- while snorkling - with no crowds! Second day drove to Coba ruins-private tour, bike tour, another native delicious lunch and an amazing Cenote-hike and snorkle. Although woke up very early both days, both our kids never complained because they saw the benefit of arriving early (per Claire's recommendations) and loved the adventure, beauty and unique experience. This is a must tour!

During my family's recent trip to Cozumel, we wanted to take a day to visit the Mayan ruins at Talum, and Absolute Adventure Mexico delivered above and beyond our expectations! They met us at the ferry port in Playa deal Carmen, first thing in the morning and made sure we had a chance to get coffee (we were on a very early ferry at their suggestion to insure we made it to the ruins before they got too crowded) on the way to Talum. Once there, our guide Claire handled all the logistical needs of getting tickets, etc. and arranged for a speciality guide for the ruins to explain the history and Mayan architecture. Once that part was over, she demonstrated her own high level of knowledge showing us additional sites and answering our questions about the solstice, and the area.

Chris was our guide on our tour and he was awesome! From the first contact with his company, both Chris and Claire were very professional. Chris later explained that the ATV tour was muddy and only select ATV's could go on the trail and he gave us options and suggestions on what we could do, even offering to have us cancel if we wanted. He was very personable with our young adult children (4) as well as my husband and me, and he had a great sense of humor too! When we asked what other excursions we should partake in during our stay he was not pushy but rather told us that due to the weather he did not suggest some of his other tours, now we all thought that said a lot for not only him, but his company. Thanks Chris for the fun day!

Amazing trip. Great having our own guide. Kids ages 8 and 10 loves it. Loved not being on mega bus with 50 other people. Price very reasonable. Very knowledgeable and given it was just our family itinerary flexible. Perfect trip!!!

Recently traveled to Playa del Carmen in December 2015 and booked a trip though Claire to scuba dive in Chak Mool cenote. I dove with my 13 year old son. Chris was our guide. Had a great day with Chris. Very knowledgeable, fun guide. My son and I really enjoyed diving in the cenote. The formations inside and the affects of the sunlight shining in through the opening into the cenote was amazing. Look forward to returning and doing another adventure with them. Chris took us out for lunch afterward to a great little local taco place with the best coconut fish and shrimp tacos. Thanks for a great adventure!!!

I recently traveled to Riviera Maya with my family of 4 as well as my brother's family of 4. One of the highlights of our trip was our day spent touring Tulum and snorkeling in a cenote. We had children ranging from 6-13 and all had a wonderful day. Chris, our guide, was fun, knowledgeable, and always working to ensure everyone was enjoying themselves. Our lunch in the jungle was wonderful too! Thank you for a great experience through and through!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico! There were two families in our party totaling 4 adults and 4 kids ages 7-12. Chris and Marianna were our guides. We started off at the ruins of Coba with a private tour guide. Coba is quite spread out so you need to bike around everywhere or be prepared to walk a lot. You can rent bikes or relax and sit in the back of bike cab. What a thrill to ride bikes in jungle looking at the ruins. A bonus was getting to a family of monkeys swinging in the trees! We also got to climb to the top of one of the pyramids, something you can't do at the other ruins. What a thrilling, breath-taking experience. Afterwards, we ate lunch at a great restaurant. We then went snorkeling in a cenote and then snorkeling in the ocean with turtles. It was a great combination and a very satisfying day.

Just returned from Mexico having taken two tours with Claire. Both tours were excellent in all respects. Very relaxed but tailored to our needs as a family. All arrangements and communication were excellent. Drinks and snacks provided on the van were very welcome, and the inclusive lunches at local restaurants were very good. You also get a private tour guide at each site (Chichen Itza, Coba and Tulum), all of whom were excellent. Definitely book with Claire, before you go to Mexico, as she is likely to be booked up in advance!

Just returned from Mexico having taken two tours with Claire. Both tours were excellent in all respects. Very relaxed but tailored to our needs as a family. All arrangements and communication were excellent. Drinks and snacks provided on the van were very welcome, and the inclusive lunches at local restaurants were very good. You also get a private tour guide at each site (Chichen Itza, Coba and Tulum), all of whom were excellent. Definitely book with Claire, before you go to Mexico, as she is likely to be booked up in advance!

Our group of 5 chose to do the 2 cenote tour - one inside cave with snorkeling and one outside with zip line and cliff jumping, Chris, our tour guide, first took us to the inside cenote and we only saw one other group while we were snorkeling. We passed by a more popular cenote that was just packed with cars and buses (you don't want to go to the popular cenotes, unless you love wall to wall people). Then we went to the outside cenote where we first zip-lined, then jumped off cliffs into the cenote. This was quite the adventure. There were 3 different heights to jump off of - about 5 ft, 12 ft, and 20 ft platforms. We had this cenote all to ourselves. We also had lunch at a mayan village, which tasted great. Highly recommend Absolute Adventure.

We had a fantastic day touring two ruin sites with Claire. She was friendly, warm, informative and easy to be with the whole day. The weather was wet and windy and she stayed on top of the radar so that we toured Coba and Tulum in the best weather possible. We will schedule more tours with Absolute Adventure when we return to the area. It really was a terrific day.

Hours of fun... zip lining, rafting, cave swimming, and ATV driving. We'd go back and do it all again tomorrow, and we are recommending this adventure to all of our thrill-seeking friends!

The tour was a private tour which allow the group to be small. She prepared all equipment and went above and beyond in terms of equipment/accommodations compared to other companies doing the same tours.
