We did the ATV, Zipline, Cenote tour and it was incredible. Juan, our tour guide, made it even better. He was super fun and casual like hanging with a friend, yet also sooo knowledgeable. He knew so much about Mexican history and culture. Also very personal, it was just our tour guide, our driver, and my fiance and me. The ATV was so fun. My first time riding one and they give you a lot of time. They start out on a practice road that is wide but then take you into the jungle with very narrow paths with lots of bumps and turns. We saw tarantulas, lizards, and even a badger. Next was the zipline which was awesome. They don't allow you to bring cameras to the zipline but the experience was great. The ziplines were high up and fast. Finally, we went to swim in a cenote and then we were provided a delicious fresh snack. They also provide all the beer, soda, and water you want. I plan on doing another tour with this company on our next visit. I recommend for sure!!

We had a fabulous day today with Absolute Adventure Mexico! Arturo was our guide, and he made our day safe, exciting and memorable. Our early hotel pick up delivered our private group to the ATVs before any other tourist... it was as if we had the entire ATV park and jungle all to ourselves. Next, we did the zip lines, 6 zip lines and 2 bridges. Our teenage boys LOVED it. No big crowds... again, like a private zipline park. No one ahead of us, no one lined up behind us. Next, we went to a cenote where we ziplined into the water... Arturo was right there along with our family, playing and laughing in the water. He showed our boys tips and tricks, all while keeping us safe, and keeping the adventure meter on high! The day ended perfectly at the cenote with delicious homemade empanadas cooked over a wood fire. Incredible company, incredible guide. I highly recommend Absolute Adventure Mexico... ask for Arturo!

From the start of our day, Arturo and misael were amazing. They were promptly on time and greeted us with a handshake and explained what we were in for. During our car ride Arturo engaged in conversation that made us very comfortable. He explained the history of Mexico and introduced things we might have never seen without him being our guide. We were offered cold refreshments at no extra charge which was a nice added feature. During the ride we were asked to sign a waiver but nothing out of the ordinary for these types of things. Once we were inside Arturo led us through the ruins and allowed us to take as many pictures as we wanted and always waited for us to finish ( sorry Arturo). Arturo was very knowledgeable about his topics and was there to answer any questions we had. The tour of the ruins lasted about 45 mins to an hour and was definitely a good start to the day. After the ruins Arturo mentioned he would have to call Misael for a ride to the cenote. misael must have been close because he was there in no time. On the drive to the cenote we were offered more refreshments and were told what the cenote was going to be like. Once we arrived we were given our equipment, told how to put it on and use everything ( goggles, snorkel, wetsuit etc). We headed down and once inside the water we were given even more instructions on what to do incase of an emergency or if we had equipment trouble. Arturo proceeded to show us around the cenote and explain the history behind everything. Once we were done swimming (around an hour or so) we got to take pictures of the cenote. And again Arturo had no problem waiting. We got out to misael again and he was happily standing there opening our doors. After the cenote we went to a quiet little restaurant that was amazing. It was authentic Mexican food that you could not get at a resort or any local shop. Arturo ate with us and had more conversation about the history of Mexico. After all that was said and done, we drove back to the hotel and were thanked for a good day. Everything was top notch professional and we couldn't have asked for a better pair. Arturo and misael helped make this excursion everything and more. So happy we got them and recommend them if you book this. Definitely will book this again if we come back in town!!

My family and I booked a tour with Absolute Adventure Mexico during our recent vacation in the Riviera Maya. We opted for a visit to Tulum, snorkeling in a cenote, and snorkeling / sea turtles. Our experience with the Absolute Adventure Mexico team was exceptional. I had carefully researched tourist companies in the area before deciding to book with Absolute Adventure Mexico, but I really did not expect to meet such dedicated and attentive staff. Our previous experiences with other tour companies in the area had been impersonal and unengaging. The team assigned to our group took pride of its job, and worked hard to create a pleasant and stimulating tour experience for all of us (adults, children, and teens). Attention to hospitality details was remarkable, our group did not have to worry about anything. Our guide Arturo and our driver Juan Manuel were constantly anticipating our needs, and made sure that every member of the group felt at ease and happy. I really appreciated the fact that the conversations that took place were not scripted, and that from tickets to guide services, food and drinks, all had been taken care for us in advance. The restaurant chosen for our lunch was amazing. This was truly a private tour, at reasonable prices. The tour team was punctual and courteous. We never felt rushed. This company also offers private transportation from and to the airport; again, reasonable fees and courteous, punctual drivers. I enthusiastically recommend Absolute Adventure Mexico. From now on, when in Canc√∫n and surrounding areas, I will only book tours and transportation with Absolute Adventure Mexico.

This tour was great! Found plenty of whale sharks and everyone on the boat had the opportunity to swim with them multiple times. The guides were great. When all of the other boats began showing up our guides took us to another location with several whale sharks and no other boats. We were never rushed and told we could take as long as we liked. After swimming with whale sharks we had a wonderful ceviche and guacamole prepared by our guides while we swam at a beautiful beach.

We did the ATV/Zip Line/Cenote tour and my teenage kids loved it. Juan our tour guide was amazing. We had the best time with him. I will definitely book another tour with them if we go back to Playa. I would highly recommend booking a tour with them, and ask for Juan.

My husband and I booked Absolute Adventure to take a tour of Chichen Itza and swim in cenotes with a stop in Valladolid for lunch. Claire was extremely quick to respond to our booking request and answer any questions we had.

We did the 3 cenote snorkeling tour with them. Our guide Juan and driver Erwin both were really nice and friendly. Our guide was very helpful and gave us lot of information. The cenotes were beautiful. The overall experience was great! The lunch after the snorkeling was also quite good.

We booked the Coba/Sea Turtles excursion on July 6th. It was for two adults and two kids ages 9 and 12. We had a wonderful time with our guide Arturo! If you are booking an excursion this is the way to go. Speaking from someone who has had the experience of a large tour group nothing beats a private tour. No waiting hours to pick up everyone, no long lines, and no difficult travelers to deal with. We started in Coba and had an excellent time climbing the pyramid and riding bikes. We had lunch at a great authentic Mexican restaurant in Coba, and then we snorkeled with Alexis and saw too many turtles to count. We finally were dropped of at our resort. Great company!

Everything about this trip was great. Our guide was amazing! Juanjo was knowledgable and friendly and went out of his way to cater to our small children. We got to go to less traveled places at less traveled times and enjoy them without all the crowds. This trip exceeded our expectations in every way. But really the guide makes the trip and he was great!

Absolute Adventure did a specular job!! Communication was top notch, service was fantastic, and the tour itself was informative and amazing. Arturo and Juan were the greatest guides on earth. We loved getting to know them, and their knowledge of the area exceeded our expectations. We HIGHLY recommend Amazing Adventure if you are in the area. It's a "can't miss" experience!!!

My wife and I and our 24 year old daughter spent all day today on our excursion. We did the Tulum, Cenote, & Akamul Turtle combination tour. Juan was our guide. They were prompt at 7:30am to pick us up at our hotel. We went straight to Tulum and we we're one of the first people there. It was great because we got to beat the crowd. Then we went to the cenote to snorkel. We had never snorkeled in a cenote before. Juan made us feel very comfortable and gave us perfect instructions. We were not rushed at all and got to spend as much time as we wanted there. Then they took us to a local restaurant in the jungle and we had a fabulous lunch. Then we went to Akamul to snorkel with the turtles. Got to see several turtles. It was a beautiful time. After that we loaded up in the van and they returned us to our hotel. We had a fabulous time all day. They also had plenty of water and Gatorade for us to drink all day long. They really care about the safety and comfort of their customers. We can't wait to return to Cancun and book another adventure with them.

My family and I did the ATV, zipline and cenote tour and it was such a blast!!! We had Juan Manuel as our tour guide and Juan as our driver and they were great! They had us laughing the whole trip and really made it such a fun family experience! My husband and I then did the Tulum and swimming with turtles tour a couple days later with Arturo and Erving as the driver and they were also great! Theyre such fun and easy going people that make it easy to enjoy the tours! I highly recommend Absolute Adventures to everyone! Theyre well organized, easy to contact, and have such amazing staff! I also really like the fact that they take you to eat to real local restaurants to help out the local people. Having it be a private tour is a major plus!

We had the best possible experience with our tour. They were early for pickup and very friendly. Arturo was extremely knowledgeable and very gracious with our 7 and 10 year old children. He made the Chichen Itza tour fun for them. He picked a lovely lunch restaurant (best meal of our whole trip!) before we went to the Cenotes. Having this small company take care of us was so much better than being on a huge bus with 80-100 people you don't know and being at the mercy of that schedule.

This is a wonderful company that provides amazing opportunities to explore Mexico. Our guide Arturo was absolutely wonderful. The service was easy to use, The transportation was not only private it also was on time. We did an excursion to the Tulum ruins, cenote, and swam with turtles. Our guide stayed with us the entire time and answered so many of our questions. Auturo was so easy to get along with and so was Claire that arranges the booking! I highly recommend booking your excursion with this company!

I compared most of the tour companies in the area (using TripAdvisor) to see which one would best suit our needs. We were looking for a specific private tour of Tulum and Coba ruins and most companies offer an either/or option with snorkeling or a cenote swim. I contacted Absolute Adventures through their website and received a very prompt response, within 10 minutes! I had contacted a few other companies the prior afternoon and had not yet received a response. Absolute Adventures provided a couple of proposed tour packages for us to choose from based on what we wanted to do and we chose one that fit our needs. We chose a Tulum and Cobs ruins private tour. Juan and Ervin where our guide and driver respectively, and they were great. Juan was very knowledgeable, personable, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a safe, fulfilling, and enjoyable experience. They were great. We were picked up at our hotel on time and headed out to Tulum first, arriving before the park opened and before the massive crowds. Juan got our entry tickets and arranged for our guide, selecting a guide that complimented my wife's interest in botany, then accompanied us through the ruins, adding much to our experience with his knowledge. We then headed to Coba where again Juan took care of everything including bicycle rental and a guide of the archaeological site. Then off to lunch at a nearby local restaurant (Chile Picante) with great food. We cannot recommend Juan and Absolute Adventure highly enough. If you are in Cancun, we recommend taking a private tour with Absolute Adventure. Juan and Ervin were simply amazing and helped make our tour a wonderful experience.

This was our first trip to Tulum, and of all the things we did, the high point was spending the day with Claire and Absolute Adventure. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the region and is incredibly friendly. Their van was new and very clean. Spending the morning with green sea turtles is absolutely amazing. We spent an hour with them, dried off, Claire gave us a choice of a few cenotes to visit. We chose one that was a little quieter, a perfect crystal clear watering hole in the jungle. She took us to lunch after and then back to our hotel. Couldn't have asked for more, we would use Absolute Adventure again without a doubt!

Where to begin! I spent months comparing and reviewing different tour companies to find the right one for us. I always came back to looking at Absolute Adventure. I finally decided to book it. I promptly corresponded through email with Claire and she was wonderful. I know I was a difficult customer. I had many changes to my plans and she was always very understanding about them. We booked the Tulum, cenote and turtle tour. We cancelled the cenote tour at the last minute (which I felt horrible about) because we felt we would be too exhausted to do all three. I am glad I did! Arturo was waiting for us in the lobby right on time. He was very friendly and made us feel comfortable from the first moment we met him. First stop was Tulum. We arrived right as they opened. The weather was pleasant (for Mexico) and no crowds. I didn’t get the name of the guide who took us around, but he was great! I would take a tour a dozen times with him if I could. We spent most of the time laughing because he was so funny. We finished up there and headed back to the van. By this time is was very crowded and hot. I am so glad we got there when we did! Next stop was Akumal to swim with the turtles. A different guide took us out on the water. This was my first time snorkeling, first time even swimming in the ocean! I was very nervous but Arturo assured me I would be fine. I picked it up very quickly and off we went. Almost immediately we saw turtles. I lost count of how many turtles we saw on the trip. I have so many awesome pictures of them. By the time we were done my arms were like jelly, which is why I am glad we skipped the cenote. Next time we come we will definitely book with them again!

This our first excursion external to Thomson who we usually book with to be safe. I will definitely be booking with these guys again, they were brilliant! Private tour with just me and my partner, no uncomfortable coaches having to pick other people up. Got to Tulum ruins before the crowds and the snorkelling and lunch were great too. We loved every minute and our guide Artur was brill, he was very passionate about his job and wanting to learn himself. Great laid back but professional guide! Thanks again.

We booked a private tour to Tulum and Muyil. We are a family of four with two teenagers. We were picked up in an air-conditioned van by Juan (JJ) and our driver. JJ was one of our guides and we quickly got to know each other since JJ is outgoing and talkative. We met up with Claire who would serve as our 2nd guide. Claire too was very nice and personable. We all talked for the entire drive to Tulum. Claire and JJ could not have been nicer and more down to earth. Claire and JJ got us into Tulum very quickly and avoided the crowds. They showed us around Tulum and explained in detail what we were looking at and gave us insight into what was going on at the time the Mayans lived there. Very interesting. We then headed to Muyil, which is a smaller ruin in the jungle. Butterflies were everywhere as Claire and JJ showed us around Muyil. We then walked through the mangroves on a wooden path which the Mayans used to travel to Chichen Itza. We were then taken to a local restaurant for lunch. Claire and JJ sat and ate with us as we talked and got to know each other and their experiences in Mexico. We highly recommend Absolute Adventure and we would book with them again on a future trip.

When we saw the huge busses and trams full of tourists arriving as we were leaving the ruins of Tulum, I turned to my wife and told her that going the private tour route was SO WORTH IT! But let me start at the beginning and tell you that the day began as it ended: WONDERFULLY! We were picked up early by our Guide, Arturo and Driver, Juan. The van was very comfortable and came complete with A/C and a cooler stocked with beverages; Water, Gatorade, BEER! Arturo was wonderful to speak with and very knowledgeable and eager to answer questions. Our first stop was Tulum. We were accompanied by another guide who worked for the park who gave us more information in the short time we were together than we could ever receive during a full semester in college. If we had been in a large tour group, we would never have been able to hear most of what he had to share with us about the rich history and culture of he Mayans and Tulum. After that, we were off to snorkel a Cenote. I had never heard of a Cenote until we began researching this excursion. I'm so happy we chose this as it was beautiful and amazing. Arturo offered great info about the geological makeup of the peninsula and the reason for the formation of these cave waterways. They are chilly; hence the wetsuits but your body soon acclimates. It was a short trip to our lunch destination along the same road that led to the Cenote. Delicious and authentic cuisine. Our last stop was perhaps the best of the day as we snorkeled in Akumal Bay to view Sea Turtles. As soon as we passed under the ropes, our water guide, Jose, pointed out a large Turtle eating from the grass on ocean floor. Soon after we came upon 6 in a small cluster. We simply hovered over them and watched and waited for them to rise up beside us to catch a breath before heading back down to continue feeding. In addition to the turtles, we say a stingray and other beautiful fish. Each member of our family definitely had their favorite moment of the day, but I can genuinely say that we were all pleased with the service and attention to detail demonstrated by Arturo, Juan and the AAM organization. You are going to pay more for a private tour but you are going to get SO MUCH MORE in return during the course of the day. A HUGE Thank You to Arturo and Juan for your kindness and professionalism during our excursion and AAM for setting such high standards for their employees, excursions and care of their customers.

I cannot say enough about this company, and would give more than 5 stars if I could. So easy working with Claire setting up the tours and she promptly answered all of my questions. We had a small group (my wife, 18 year old son and me), that had never been to this area and wanted a private tour to learn and enjoy. We did the Chichen Itza / Vallidolid tour and the Tulum / cenotes / turtles. Both were top notch and far exceeded our expectations. The thing that made it most enjoyable was our tour guide Juan. He was informative, knowledgeable and a lot of fun. We felt like he was part of our family and was giving us a personal tour of everything. I would no doubt recommend this group to anyone going to this area and want a personal touch on exploring many things.
