Amazing tour with Arturo!!!

Went on a snorkeling trip with Nicolas as the guide and Manuel as the driver. Nicolas was friendly and very informative about everything on the trip. First we went to snorkel and see the turtles. We saw a few turtles and were satisfied then Manuel drove us off to the cenotes. We were happily surprised when we got there. The caves were breathtaking. The water was just right and crystal clear so you could see everything. Nicolas was explaining and showing all types of things down there. Then we went to a little Mexican restaurant and had a nice delicious meal and more conversation. After all that we had a pleasant ride back to our hotel. All in all it was a nice enjoyable experience all the way through. The caves were the highlight which was surprising since we went just for the turtles. Would definitely recommend and even take again if we are ever back in the area.

We can not say enough great things about Absolute Adventure, and Juan our guide! They are fun, professional, patient above all else! We have already recommended them to many friends who are traveling to Playa this summer, and we will be back! The value for the attention and experiences was over the top!

My 75 yr old mother, my daughter and myself booked a Tulum, Coba and Cenote tour while staying the Playa area early April. Arturo was our guide. He was very knowledgeable and an interesting person. They picked us up from our hotel on time. We drove to Tulum enjoyed the tour there and then off to Coba. My mother climbed the temple. Arturo was with her during her climb and on her descend. We enjoyed some authentic Mexico food at a small restaurant bet Tulum and Coba. Great food! and then cooled off in the Cenote Nicte-Ha. An open cenote with many fish and plants. What a special day for us. Thank you so much Arturo for making my moms 75th bday so amazing!!

Amazing tour and hard to pick the best part as we all had a blast. Suitable for my girls aged 13 and 9. We were in safe hands with Nicholas and Manuel who also kept a good pace. The provided Mexican meal in the Mayan jungle was a welcome break after the cenote swim. The submerged cavern snorkelling is something we will never forget. Thank you for a great experience.

After researching exactly what we wanted to do, I found Absolute Adventure offered what we wanted in a package. We did the Yal-Ku Lagoon and a Cenote. My husband was nervous about doing any excursions in this area at all, so we decided that going through a reputable tour company would be the way to go. This was one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, Nicholas was amazing, the snorkeling equipment provided by the company was of very good quality and having a private tour allowed us to take things at our own pace. They provide wetsuits but for New Englanders like us the water wasn't the least bit cold. The lagoon is teaming with fish, multiple types of parrot fish especially. Once we had our fill of the lagoon we drove into the jungle to a Cenote owned and kept up by the local Mayans. The small hole in the ground looked ominous but opened into a ballroom size cave. It was like something from another planet, Nicholas dove down with an underwater flashlight so we could see how deep and extensive the cave was; it was an amazing experience. The lunch afterward in a local Mayan restaurant was a fun capper to the day.

Just back from a girl's getaway to Playa del Carmen for a long weekend and our Absolute Adventure was definitely the highlight of the trip! We are three outgoing girls looking for more than just beach days and were not disappointed!

We booked this private tour to the beautiful Las Coloradas and had a great time. Arturo was our tour guide and he was very nice and knowledgeable. We learned about the place we visited. Arturo also went beyond his scope to explain to us about Chitchen Itza, which we didn't learn much during a group tour with another company. The restaurant that they took us in this day trip was also a good one, with great local food. The boat tour was an exciting experience. The pink lake was amazing. Overall, it was my favorite day trip during my first time in Mexico. Highly recommended.

Myself and two of my friends did this tour and had an absolute blast. It was our favorite adventure that we did throughout our time in Mexico. Not only were all of the sites completely gorgeous, but our tour guide (Nicolas) and driver (Juan Martinez) were wonderful. Each were extremely friendly and made our day excursion even more enjoyable! I would highly recommend this trip!

Everything about Absolute Adventures was top notch. Our guide, Arturo, was knowledgeable and so much fun!! Our transportation pick up from our hotel and throughout the day was comfortable and safe. The variety of destination options to choose from was through the company was diverse. The day we spent with Arturo was just wonderful. My husband and three teenagers loved the day and would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Absolute Adventures

We spent a great day on a private tour to Chichen Itza. Our guide was wonderful, the tour that they arranged for us at Chichen Itza was with a private tour guide. We got in early before all the crowds descended. Swimming in the cenotes was a fun, if cold, experience! And lunch at the restaurant in the little outdoor garden area was just perfect. The food was incredible.

I found Absolute Adventure on Trip Advisor when I searched for things to do in the area. I originally called regarding a set itinerary but was happily surprised when I found out that I could create a custom itinerary that was private. Because there were several things we wanted to do, I accepted this option and I really am glad I did. Obviously a private tour is a little more pricey but it was worth it. Our guide Juan was informative, fun, friendly and attentive. Our driver was also nice and attentive. Since returning, I've recommended Absolute Adventure, and Juan in particular, to a few friends that are heading to the area soon. Our day was amazing, filled with lots of great memories. I would most definitely use Absolute Adventure again!

Our family had an incredible day tour to Tulum and then snorkeling in a cenote. Arturo and Juan Manuel were on time and the van was clean and full of cold drinks! They were so helpful and friendly. At Tulum, we were dropped right off and Arturo helped get a tour guide and tickets lined up for us and then he took pictures so we could enjoy the tour. Then, Juan Manuel picked us up out right out front when we were hot and tired. We were given our choice of cenote and we picked an open, living one - and it was so cool. Not very busy, refreshing and beautiful. All the equipment was provided and great. Our kids are 10,8, and 5 and it was a perfect, very do-able adventure for us. The lunch we ate afterwards was one of my favorite meals of the whole vacation!

We, 5 girls, had an absolute great time with Absolute Adventures. We booked two trips, to Tulum and to Coba, and went snorkeling in three completely different cenotes. It was crazy how different each of them was. Chris, our guide, was awesome and had no trouble to handle us 5 crazy girls. We felt safe all the time and had a wonderful time. Thank you!

We were so happy that we chose Absolute for our adventures. Juan was our guide and I cannot say enough great things about him as he made the adventure so much more! We loved our tour with Juan so much that we booked another with him even before it was over. Highly recommended and be sure to get Juan as your guide!!

Our tour guide, Arturo, provided us with one of the most amazing experiences I could imagine. His knowledge of the cenotes and heritage of the area made the tour not only adventurous, but educational. I honestly did not expect to learn so much during the experience. The cenotes were definitely the highlight of the trip. The turtles in akumal were neat, but the area was somewhat crowded with other tourists. Given the chance, I’d book again in a heartbeat. Awesome job!

My son and I were looking forward to swimming with the turtles the most during our trip. We were not disappointed!!! Arturo was very knowledgeable and took great pride in his work. We will book another excursion with Absolute Adventure and request Arturo for our next vacation.

My husband and I had an excellent day with Juan on our Private Tour. He went above and beyond the entire day, the pictures he took and sent were great, and he was so informative. Can't say enough about the experience. We enjoyed the personal guides we met at each stop (organized prior by Juan) and lunch was delicious...we truly appreciated our time with him and agreed it was the best day of our 8 day stay in Mexico. If you’re going to book a private tour request Juan, you won’t be disappointed!!

Every destination we travel to we book private tours, preferring tailored tours without the crowds. This is one of the best tour companies we have booked with yet! Our tour guide Juan was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our day with him. Juan is extremely knowledgeable about Mexican culture and the environment. We received so much information about the cenotes and the land and indigenous wildlife. He kept my two teens interested and engaged, they didn't even look at their phones 😉 Juan was warm, funny, and enthusiastic as well as professional. Our driver Irwin was great, he was friendly, professional and an excellent driver. We have been on public tours where we honestly were gripping our side rails - not here! Irwin was a very competent and safe driver, with a smile. We highly recommend this tour company. All personnel we encountered went above and beyond to make our time with them as smooth and pleasant as possible. They are very accommodating and will tailor your trip to the needs and levels of those in your party. We will definitely be back on our return to Mexico next year!

Juan-Jose showed us the wonders of Chitzen Itza and 2 different cenotes. He is knowledgable and friendly and made our day special. The van picked us up when they said they would and we had a good driver, which made the trek to the Mayan ruins easy. We highly recommend Juan-Jose and Absolute Adventure! We felt like we made a friend after spending the day together.

We loved our excursion with Absolute Adventure of Mexico and with our fabulous tour guide, Arturo. The private tour of Tulum was great. The company hired an expert of the ruins to show us all around and to explain everything. Arturo was with us the whole time but it was great to learn everything about the ruins from an expert. We then drove to a cenote where we snorkeled. It was truly a highlight of our vacation. Arturo was engaging, informative and really fun! My husband, my two sons - ages 10 and 11 and I all had a great time with Arturo!

We would highly recommend Absolute Adventure Mexico! We absolutely loved our private tour of Tulum and cenote snorkeling. Claire was a fantastic tour guide who paced everything perfectly. The tour at Tulum was the exact right length with great information on the fascinating Mayan culture. After the tour, we were given a choice between reef and cenote snorkeling. We chose the cenote and were so glad we did!

We booked for four people and that meant we had a private tour. Eric the driver was very helpful and friendly. The mini van was clean and very comfortable. We had an older adult in our group who is afraid of confined spaces. However, Juan our friendly guide was fabulous. He spent time with them and built their confidence until they were able to enjoy snorkelling in the splendour of the second large cave like Cenote. Also, Juan was extremely knowledgeable about the environment and the history. The Mayan lunch was also excellent. Highly recommend them.

Great tour with Juan who was so welcoming and flexible. He took us to Tulum which was gorgeous. He then gave us a choice to snorkel at the ocean reef or do a special cenote snorkel. Nice to have that option since it was very windy and the reef snorkeling would've been rough and possibly poor visibility. The two cenotes he took us to were fairly private and quiet and gorgeous! Saw a crocodile in the water, lots of fresh water fish, and gorgeous stalagmites and stalactites. The second cenote happened to have Mayan musicians playing beautiful music, which made the trip even more special and enchanting. Great private van they had for us with a cooler of drinks, and a delicious lunch after. Highly recommend!

Not only were they were flexible with personal requests, but it was evident that this company goes out of their way to provide authentic and personable experiences for their guests. We had the most wonderful tour. We did a private tour with our own van and a super nice and helpful tour guide, Juan. Everything was on time and perfect. We could not have asked for a better excursion. Juan took us to Tulum and then to swim in a really neat, less popular cenote, followed by a super tasty lunch They had everything we could need from iced drinks, to life jackets and masks to wet suits. Juan was so patient in answering all my kids questions and even humored him in looking up things he was interested in with his phone so they could chat more about his interest. And in case you didn't know, they even take photos throughout the trip and send you a link to download them the very next day. Everything they did was fantastic. This is a top rate company, and I could not recommend them more highly.

We were so happy with our choice to book with Absolute Adventures. They were so responsive and accommodating during the planning process and then Juan was a phenomenal guide. He was funny and so welcoming. He felt like part of the group and I know if we were to do it again we would request him. We had a really informational tour at the ruins as well and our lunch before the cenotes was delicious. It was at a cute authentic restaurant where we were treated so wonderfully by the staff. Myself and my wife had an amazing trip to Coba and Punta Laguna monkey sanctuary with Absolute Adventure and their guide Juan this week. It was an unforgettable experience – every small detail was taken care of, the schedule was super flexible to make sure we got the most out of our trip, and Juan was a fountain of knowledge. Highly highly recommended!
