Arturo was an amazing tour guide along with our drivers Omar and Rigo, and the tours we went on (Tulum ruins, underground Cenote first day, followed by snorkeling and then swimming with sea turtles the second day) were all amazing and included delicious lunch at local spots. Highly recommend this wonderful tour company and staff.

We had two incredible tours with Absolute Adventure Mexico during our family trip to Tulum. We went on an informative tour of the ruins followed by snorkelling in a cave cenote - the highlight of our trip! We also enjoyed an outdoor cenote and snorkelling with turtles in Akumal Bay. Arturo took such good care of us, sharing local tips, and made our tours relaxing and fun. I would recommend his team to everyone and look forward to reconnecting when we return. Thanks Arturo!

Alex & Pablo were fantastic! Alex was our guide and Pablo was our driver. Alex shared and explained the historical period in such a captivating way. You were hanging on his every word as he described life, death, seeding and harvesting. It added such a unique depth to our visit, one that we wouldn’t not have gotten without him.

We booked our tour to Chichén Itzá on Feb 4, 2025 and had one of our best tours with our guide Joshua and driver Omar. They picked up our group of four at our resort lobby a few minutes before the appointed time of 6:15 am. We stopped for a coffee and pastry a few km's down the road (paid for by tour company) and then stopped for a bathroom break about half-way to the ruins. Omar was an excellent driver and we never felt in danger on the road. As we neared the ruins, Josh gave us a quick overview of what to expect as we arrived and asked if there was anything in particular we wanted (or didn't want) to see. We weren't interested in shopping for any souvenirs but wanted to see and learn as much as we could. Our early departure time meant that we arrived shortly after the gates opened, and having a guide allowed us to bypass the already lengthy lines and get into the site quickly. We were able to get couples and group photos with little to no people in the background. Josh carried an I-pad loaded with images of details of the pyramid and other structures, including pictures of carvings and paintings inside the structures. He was also very knowledgeable of the various stories and legends associated with the different buildings and carvings. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Chichén Itzá. When we were finished at the ruins, we were taken to Valladolid for lunch at Paladar De Cura. Lunch was also included in the tour price (we only paid for our drinks which were very reasonably priced). We all had amazing meals there, and were able to get to know Josh a bit better and learn more about the region. After a quick stop at the town center square, we were on our way back to the resort. What we appreciated the most was that we were never pressured to buy any trinkets, shop anywhere we didn't want to or do anything we didn't want to. We felt very much in control of our day. We would definitely use them again!

Wow!! Tour guide Alex was incredible. We toured Tulum ruins as a wedding party adventure and the guests were so pleased with his knowledge, passion and humour! I wish Alex could tour us all over! That's how good he is.

Highly recommend, great tour company Day trip tour to Tulum ruins, cenote swimming, lunch and tequila tasting. Private tour for 4 of us - we were collected from our hotel and had a private guide and driver. Great air conditioned mini bus. Artur & Enrique were great guys, very friendly and knowledgeable. Had the most amazing memorable day. Arrived at the Tulum ruins at 8am to avoid the heat and the crowds, which was a great idea. Arthur was very knowledgeable and pointed out things you would never notice just wandering around on your own. From there we went to Nicte Ha cenote (you could choose from a choice of 3 different cenote of differing types) and had life jackets and snorkel gear provided. Absolutely stunning and very quiet and peaceful. After that we had a lovely Mexican lunch at a local restaurant followed by Artur talking us through the different types of Tequila with tasting too - very informative and fun. A fantastic and memorable day we all loved.

Wow!! Incredible!! Our wedding party went with Alex and Rodrigo to Tulum from Playa Del Carmen, Alex was so knowledgeable but also so engaging and funny!! I strongly recommend Alex as your guide. He was amazing! All our wedding guests were so happy.

We had an amazing experience on the Turtle and Cenote excursion! Joshua was a great guide and was fun, knowledgable and kind. We saw so many turtles and other wildlife, and had a choice of cenote to visit afterwards. The cenote we picked was practically empty, and beautiful. 10/10 experience!

Best tour we have ever taken. Amazing, amazing, amazing. The transfer was on time and had water and pop ready for us during the ride. Rodrigo was a great driver and all passengers felt 100% safe. Alex was the best tour guide I have ever had!!!! His knowledge during the ride and at Tulum was incredible. We would absolutely recommend the whole experience to anyone.

Excellent Choice Today we did the Tulum Ruins and Taak Bi Ha Cenote with Absolute Adventure. Our guide Juan and driver (sorry forgot your name) were so wonderful and seriously beyond 5 stars. We felt so safe the entire time. Booking a private tour was the best decision. After taking the transfer from the airport who wants to spend your vacation with 50 random people on a bus. Juan?s knowledge of the ruins was a real treat and his sense of humour kept us laughing. When we return with our husbands in the future we?ll definitely be booking another excursion with Absolute Adventure (and requesting Juan and hopefully he doesn?t remember our faces ;^) lol

Best Private Cenote Tours in the Yucatan! This was our second tour with Absolute Adventure and it won't be our last! Once again they went above and beyond. We added snorkeling with turtles to our cenotes package and even with that we were back to our hotel before 3pm. Our guide Alex was just as knowledgeable about Tulum and the cenotes as he was about Chichen Itza. We ziplined at one of the cenotes and had the entire place to ourselves! Highly recommended!

Chichen Itza Express Josh was our guide, he was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had! They were on time for everything it was so quick and easy to book. We ordered 24 beer for our trip from Bahia Principe Tulum to Chichen Itza and back. I would highly recommend going to Chichen Itza with this company. The private tour is by far the way to go, it was worth every penny it cost. We were able to choose our pickup time we left our resort at 7:30am and honestly that was a pretty good time to leave as the crowds were not bad at all yet. We left Chichen Itza around 11:00-11:30 or so and that was lots of time because we were back at our resort and still got to enjoy the sunlight for the rest of the day.

Snorkeling Reef 1/2 Day Did a private boat tour to snorkle off the coast of Puerto Morelos. Juan was our guide. All in all a fun 1/2 day with a personable and attentive guide. The boat can?t get real close to the reef so you have to swim out against the waves. That was intimidating at first but they made me comfortable right away but allowing me to hang onto the ring the boat driver was carrying. We saw WAY more fish on the Cenote tour to a lagoon but thats not their fault! It was super fun and worth the money to do a private tour since we didn?t want to do lunch, shopping? Etc. Most tours include those things. Felt safe at all times. Pick up at hotel was on time!

?The Mayans Delivered? We travel quite often including several trips to Cancun within past two years. This tour company ranks right at the top. The communication was seamless and we hit the jackpot with our Tour Guide and Driver. Arturo enlightened us with so many interesting facts of Mayan history; he is a wealth of information on these periods of civilization and has a wonderful demeanor of delivery. He and Enrique, our Driver, made certain we were comfortable throughout the day, including an authentic Mayan meal in Valladolid. We will certainly use them again.

Amazing private tour to Chichen Itza and cenote! We had a great day with our guide Arturo and driver Omar! They arrived at the agreed time at our hotel and then we started the journey towards Chichen Itza. Along the way we had the opportunity to stop for coffee and use the restroom. As we arrived early in Chichen Itza there was no line to enter and inside we were able to walk comfortably as we were there before the big tour buses arrived. Arturo was very knowledgeable and gave us the complete tour of the 3 areas inside Chichen Itza sharing fascinating facts about the Mayan civilisation. We moved at our own pace and took group pictures whenever we wanted. I also appreciated that Arturo was very respectful towards other guides waiting for our turn at different spots while other guides do not do the same. On the way to the cenote Arturo offered us some tortas (Mexican sandwich) that were delicious and perfect after waking so much! We chose Cenote Samula because Arturo said it was normally calmer and we even got to be the only ones swimming at one moment, almost felt like our own private cenote! The last stop was for lunch in Valladolid in a traditional Mayan restaurant and the food was excellent. This was not a touristy place just a regular restaurant with Mayan dishes that cannot be found in many places. One thing to mention is that the driver stays in the van the whole time to we were able to leave our belongings safely there while doing the different activities. I highly recommend this tour if you are looking for a private more customised experience, the service from the guide and driver was excellent!

We booked a 2 Cenote tour during our vacation in Rivieria Maya. Claire was great in getting thing set up and was very flexible in landing, including adjusting our departure time and picking up 2 seperate groups from 2 different resorts. Our driver Rodrigo was on time and we had no transportation issues l. Our Guide Josh “Mr Guide” was amazing. He was friendly patient informative and volunteered as our photographer whole we enjoyed the 2 Cenotes. The private tour meant that we worked out on our schedule and the lunch was Amazing! I would definitely book again!

Our tour to the Chich?n Itz? ruins with Alex and Rodrigo was the highlight of our family's trip to Cancun. Alex knows his stuff and we learned so much both on the drive there and at the site. When he asked what we knew about the Mayans, my nine year old shared that he had learned that they used cacao beans as currency. Alex immediately pulled up images on his iPad and told us even more about that. At the site, Alex shared in-depth information that made the experience so wonderful. We avoided big crowds and had the time to take in this incredible place. On the way back, we had a delicious lunch and had the chance to do a little shopping. Rodrigo, the driver, got us there and back safely and made stops when we needed them. I highly recommend this tour and I'm so glad we booked with Absolute Adventure Mexico.

Had a private tour to Chichen Itza and Valladolid. Rodrigo and Joshua promptly picked up at 6 and headed out. We were among the first at Chichen Itza and the weather was perfect. Joshua gave us a nuanced and insightful history of this magnificent place. Our lunch was delicious and unhurried. Rodrigo was professional in getting us to our destinations. What made it so worth the money was leaving Chichen Itza just as all the large busses started rolling up. We would never have learned as much as we did had we taken a big bus tour.

Joshua was absolutely amazing. He gave a nuanced and insightful telling of Chichen Itza’s history. We were thrilled to be leaving as all the buses started to arrive, having spent a very intimate two hours at the site with just a small handful of others. Worth every penny! And Rodrigo our driver was an ace on the roads getting us smoothly delivered to our destinations.

He was able to retell the story of both the Mayan culture and how it resonates in today?s Yucat?n. The tour was paced well and it was great to know we could alter (lengthen or shorten) it if needed. A repeat for sure! Arturo our guide and Enrique our driver were fantastic. Arturo was very helpful with our 3 person group that included 1 person who has vision problems, 1 person who doesn?t swim, and 1 person who loves adventure. He took care of all of us! He explained the options and we picked the 2 that fit our group best. He led us through the cave and explained how it evolved along with how it is connected to 250 Cenotes. Because we went early we had the two Cenotes to ourselves until just when we were ready to leave. I will use this group again and book more private tours.

A true highlight of our trip! What a fantastic day! A big shout out to Juan. He was an excellent guide - knowledgeable, friendly and fun - and really added to our experience. A tour beyond all our expectations! Arturo (guide) and Rodrigo (driver) were amazing, it felt like spending the day with old friends. Arturo was a wealth of information, quickly adapting to our focus and offering details aligned with our interests. Our tour of Coba was magical, plus we saw monkeys playing in the treetops! Our cenote experience was simply breathtaking - Arturo brought us to two, and we had both completely to ourselves! The entire day was about us, our pace, our interests, and we never felt rushed or like we were asking silly questions. 10/10 would recommend!

This is our favorite excursion What a perfect day we had! Arturro was our guide, and Rodrigo was our driver. The tour was perfect. Arturro was a perfect guide with so much knowledge. The time spent in each location was perfect. The lunch was excellent in a very clean restaurant. The ruins tour was not crowded as we arrived right when it opened. We practically had the cenote to ourselves. The swimming with turtles was very cool. I highly recommend this tour.
