Absolute Adventure Mexico
Wonderful, personalized trip for the whole family Our family of 11 (5 kids) took the Tulum and Cenote tour with Juan. It was the highlight of our week long stay in the PDC area! Juan did an amazing job of keeping the tour interesting and engaging for the kids, encouraging them to spot and keep count of the iguanas at Tulum, and recommended that we switch our initial cenote pick to one that was more kid friendly. The trip was a huge hit with the whole family from grandparents down to 8 year olds. The transportation as comfortable and seamless and it nice to be able to go at our own pace. Highly recommend the company and Juan especially. We will not hesitate to use them again.

My wife and I did a tour of Chichen Itza, Oxman Cenote and Vallodolid with Absolute Adventure on 15 April. We had a fantastic time and Cristina our guide was simply fabulous sharing her deep knowledge about the history of the places as well as having great charm and energy. We had an experience that will remain with us forever. If we ever return to Cancun, we will only do tours with Absolute Adventure and hopefully be lucky to have Cristina guide us again. Cannot recommend them highly enough! What a wonderful team!

Came back to edit my review just to say Joshua was amazing as well! He took us to the Coba and Tulum ruins in addition to 2 cenotes. We had a phenomenal time! This is a must book while visiting the area! We took the guided tour to Chichen Itza and had the privilege of getting Arturo as our guide and Enrique as our driver. Arturo was so informative of all questions and provided us with so much valuable information. Enrique was a great driver! Both made sure we were taken care of the entire time!

Cenotes Dos Ojos day excursion. The service was excellent! From the moment they pick you up at your hotel until they drop you off. Alex, Arturo, Cristina, and Juan explained everything with charm and wisdom. Alex gave us a history class on Mayan culture that taught us a lot. My family and I are very grateful and will return someday. I also give the transportation vehicles five stars?very comfortable, clean, and spacious. Thanks to Javier for taking us there and back safely. The cenotes are very beautiful and impressive. The food is delicious and healthy. Thanks to everyone who served us and cooked for us. Thank you so much, long live Mexico!

Our tour guide and driver Juan & Enrique were amazing. They were punctual, friendly and easy to talk to. Our tour started the morning with a hike through punta laguna where we got to see howler monkies, canoe the lagoon, and zip line for the first time. From there we went to the Coba Ruins where Juan was very knowledgeable and showed us the best way to bike around. We finished off the day at a local restaurant that specialized in pulled pork. Well worth the trip!

Cristina and Juan were the best tour guides. Fun and very informative, they were helpful throughout the whole trip ans constantly making sure that we doing okay and that we were having fun. Absolute adventure private tours are a great company and I definitely recommend them, especially if you have a big group of people traveling with you. The cenotes were beautiful and a great experience. The food was delicious, I recommend the mixed plate, the queso empanadas were great.

Just had an amazing experience with Absolute Adventure Mexico! We did the Tulum ruins tour and swimming in two stunning cenotes — Taak Bi Ha and Nicte Ha — and it was absolutely unforgettable. The Tulum ruins were breathtaking, set right on the coast, and our guide shared so much fascinating insight into Mayan history and culture. Then we headed to the cenotes, which were magical — crystal-clear waters, incredible rock formations, and such a peaceful vibe. Everything was super well organized, the guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and the small-group setting made it feel really personal. Highly recommend this tour if you’re in the area and want a mix of history, nature, and adventure!

I had a fantastic tour with Absolute Adventure Mexico, exploring the Ek Balam ruins and Cenote Xcanch? -- a perfect combination of history and nature. Our guide, Alex, was absolutely wonderful -- knowledgeable, friendly, and full of passion for the region's history and culture. He brought the ancient Mayan city of Ek Balam to life. The ruins themselves were gigantic, and climbing to the top offered incredible views I'll never forget. After that, we visited Cenote Xcanch?, which felt like a hidden paradise. Surreal is the best word to describe it -- peaceful, magical, and the perfect way to cool off after exploring the ruins. Everything was well-organized, smooth, and personalized. If you're looking for a unique and enriching experience off the beaten path, I highly recommend this tour!

Incredible day at Chichen Itza and Cenote Oxman! I had an amazing tour with Absolute Adventure Mexico, visiting the iconic Chichen Itza and the beautiful Cenote Oxman ? and it was truly a highlight of my trip! Our guide, Arturo, was outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Mayan history and culture. Thanks to Arturo, we didn?t just see Chichen Itza ? we understood it. He brought the ruins to life with rich storytelling and fascinating facts. After exploring the site, we cooled off at Cenote Oxman, which was absolutely stunning with the crystal clear water and such a fun, refreshing experience. Everything was well-organized and stress-free. The private tour format made it feel personal and flexible, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a deeper and more memorable experience in the Yucat?n.

Magical Morning in the Cenotes! Arturo and Enrique picked us up right on time at our hotel and we headed off to tour two cenotes. The first cenote was small and quiet and absolutely stunning. We got there early and had the whole thing to ourselves. The second one was a little bigger with ledges for diving, a nice swim to a hidden area, and a zipline over the whole thing. Arturo taught us so much about the area and was so kind and encouraging with our daughter, helping her feel comfortable and confident to explore at every turn. We saw tons of beautiful fish, frogs, dragonflies, butterflies, and iguanas. The fish swim right up to you so the views are great. Highly recommend taking a waterproof camera. We got some great photos and videos. Our guides were so accommodating and had cold drinks for us. We would definitely recommend a tour with Absolute Adventure, it was a highlight of our trip and we will do another one if we get the opportunity.

Chichen Itza/cenote/vallalodid Our group of 11 had a wonderful time with Christina and Rodrigo! Christina kept our group on track and was efficient with our time so we got the maximum enjoyment out of each stop! She is so knowledgeable about the area and the history. We all loved learning about Chichen Itza, and swimming and jumping into the cenote was so fun. The restaurant for lunch was delicious.

Swimming with turtles and snorkeling The snorkeling in the small inlet off the sea was amazing, and the swimming with the turtles at Akumel, also included fantastic snorkeling around healthy sea fans and coral. The Mayan lunch afterwards was medium, but still delicious. Our guide, Juan, was smart, and alot of fun.

Wonderful Chichen itza tour! Our group of 9 had a wonderful experience with Absolute Adventure! We chose an early pick up time to ensure getting there a little before opening and pick up was very prompt. Driver was excellent, as was our tour guide Arturo. He had us set the pace of our tour, and we never felt rushed. His detailed knowledge of the history and the site enriched our experience so much. Our tour was about 3 hours because we wanted to see everything in detail, but you can see everything faster if you want. We had a couple kids who had issues with the heat, and he was very considerate about finding some shade for them and making sure they were okay to continue. If we visit the area again, I would definitely book another tour with Absolute Adventure; highly recommended! Excellent value for price.

We took the private Chichén Itzá + Cenote tour with Absolute Adventure and had a fantastic experience! There were 5 adults and 3 kids (ages 5, 9, and 12) in our group. The private tour was intimate and flexible—we ended up cutting our stay at Chichén Itzá a bit short so we could spend more time at the cenote (Samula) for the kids, which they loved. Our guide Alejandro (Alex) was incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and friendly. And he gave us just the right amount of detail and perspective, which for us we wanted a lot of. Everything went so smoothly, and we can't think of anything that could have gone better. With a group our size, it was absolutely worth the extra cost to make it a private trip.

The highlight of Mexico was the private tour with Arturo, visiting the Tulum Ruins as well as Coba and finishing the day with lunch. Arturo was extremely knowledgeable and fully enjoys what he does making the day a wonderful experience. I highly recommended booking through Absolute Adventure if you are looking for an unforgettable tour!

tulum ruins and 2 cenotes My family (2 kids- ages 14, 17) had an amazing tour with Juan. He picked us up at our hotel on time and we were the first ones into the ruins at Tulum. He told us all about the ruins and the Mayan culture. It was wonderful to do that early in the morning before it was too hot. He then took us to a cenote that we had all to ourselves. We were able to snorkel at our own pace and enjoy the cenote. We then went to the underground cenote which was equally amazing. I'm so glad that we chose 2 cenotes and got the experience of both the above ground and undergound one. Juan took great pictures of our family and I would highly recommend this tour.

Fabulous day visiting Chichen Itza with Absolute Adventure tours! Our family recently returned from Mexico having visited Chichen Itza and swimming in a cenote through a tour with Absolute Adventure. Considering it was going to be an all day trip, we splurged on a private tour to cut down on travel time. I booked directly through their website for considerable savings compared to resellers of similar tours. Our guide Cristina was full of knowledge and passion about the history of Chichen Itza. We got there right when the site opened shortly after 8am; be prepared to spend up to 4 hrs if you want the full experience. There are numerous vendors on site who are super talented artists from the nearby town. You can get a kitschy alien themed Chitzen Iza T-shirt but also beautiful one of a kind wooden masks, sculptures, obsidian carvings and a 'jaguar' (you will know when you hear it). Many vendors take credit, but recommend bringing extra pesos. Our driver Enrique was always ready for the next trek waiting with refreshments. The second stop was a swim in the Samula Cenote which is in an enclosed cave with a small opening. Yes there are bats in the cave, not scary, but they poop. Our third stop was in Valladolid for an authentic Mexican lunch at a restaurant frequented by locals. The ala carte meal was delicious. Recommend having breakfast at your resort/rental, there are snacks provided but lunch is later in the day. Valladolid town square was a quick walk through the park as the church was closed and we already had our souvenirs. Set out at 6:15am and back at 6:00pm at our resort.....long day but so very worth it! Thank-you Cristina and Enrique!

Josh, who was our guide for Absolute Adventure Private Tours, did a great job with our small family of four. We prefer Adventure Tours in this definitely was an adventure although by no means exhausting or stressful. We went to three cenotes during the course of the day and had a nice lunch at the very end at a small family owned restaurant. I was surprised to see that the cenotes were not overcrowded at this time of the year. In fact when we arrived at the first one at about 8:00 a.m. we were the first ones there and enjoyed the Cenote to ourselves. Although some might consider the waters to be cold, our family found it to be just fine likely because we've spent many summers splashing around in the lakes at the Upper Midwest. One of the more interesting and unusual elements was going to see the "Batcave", where we could see small bats flitting around above us in the cave above clear blue water. We could also see the scuba diving teams swimming below us with their flashlights which made for a great picture underwater.

We had children ranging in ages of 5 to 12, and they all enjoyed the trip. The older they are, the more they will get out of the experience, though. Arturo was our guide, and he was excellent and cared for all of our group members.
