This trip was one for the books! Fell in love with the cenotes (and with our super cute tour guide Arturo). He was really knowledgeable and a truly amazing guide who made our trip ten times better. We will definitely be going back.

My experience was absolutely amazing! The cenotes were breathtaking, and the ruins of Tulum really resonated with me. I couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Our guide Arturo was highly knowledgeable, he always had answers to any questions I had throughout our trip. I highly recommend any tour with Absolute Adventures!

Our group of 9 girls on a bachelorette trip had the MOST incredible experience on an all-day tour with Arturo and Juan Manuel! We started the morning from Playa del Carmen and went off for snorkeling with sea turtles, then visited a cave cenote and an open cenote, had a delicious lunch, had a tour of some jungle areas and Mayan ruins, AND Claire even arranged for our guides to drop us off at a dinner reservation we really wanted to experience in Tulum and then take us back to our hotel. It was a FULL day and they really worked hard to make sure we were able to do all of the things we wanted to do. Arturo was SO patient with all of us girls in taking our many photos, helping us find a place to change for dinner, and answering our questions, and he had so much great insight to share about every place we went to all day. Our group of friends will always remember this as one of our best days, not only on this trip, but ever!! I would absolutely recommend Absolute Adventure without hesitation and it will be the best decision you make for any trip!

We did two separate tours; one was the three cenotes with Claire. She is great and knows so much about the Mayan culture and cenotes themselves. The other tour was one cenote, ATV ride through the jungle, ands tree top zip line led by Manuel and Rodrigo. These guys are great. So friendly and encouraging. The beauty of the places we visited speaks for itself to be sure. What stands out is the Absolute Adventure experience for their professionalism, knowledge, great attitude, and fun.

Wonderful tour of Chichen itza, Coba, monkey reserve and Cenotes. The whole family has a better understanding of Mexican natural world , Mexican culture and Mayan history thanks to Arturo. This is a great way to tour if you want to be away from the crowds and actually learn about your host country.

We did the private Tulum and Cenote swim tour (with the Muyil ruins added on) with Absolute Adventures Mexico on 28 June. The cenote that we visited was Nicte Ha and the addition of Muyil ruins was worth it as this was a less visited site and offered a slightly different experience to Tulum. Our guide for the trip was Juan, who was extremely personable and had an extensive knowledge of the all the sites we visited and was a wealth of information to any questions posed to him. Throughout the day, Juan was taking photos of us in front of iconic locations at the sites, but more unexpectedly, Juan was also capturing discreet photos of us as we were walking around enjoying the sites. These photos were provided to us via Microsoft one drive a day later and will provide some additional memories of the trip. The private trip is absolutely worth the early start, you arrive at the sites right at the opening time and beat many other visitors that arrive with group tours much later. This allowed the ability to capture better photos but also meant that you were visiting the sites while the temperature was cooler. Overall, I would highly recommend Absolute Adventures Mexico as I cannot fault the experience that we had with them.

My family and I had the best day on this adventure. They were on time to pick us up early from the hotel. We did a private tour to Tulum and Coba with a Mayan lunch provided in the cost. Manuel was an excellent tour guide, he made the Griffin’s feel so welcome and like a long lost friend! My mom, brother, dad and myself all did this tour. Don Manuel was a great driver and super kind! Our stuff was safe in the car because of him, he waited while we went and did the tour. It felt like we had been friends with Manuel and Don Manuel for years! They pick you up early and we finished Tulum by 9:30, we beat a huge rush of people that were in line when we left. It was a very educational and fun experience! The Mayan lunch afterwards was a great treat as well. They provided water and other beverages, this company and its employees take the best care of you!

In the summer of 2014 for my youngest daughter graduation vacation at Barcelo Colonial and Tropical, my self and oldest daughter Ana _Maria we went to visit the ruins of the faimos Tulum.

They where so amazing, not to mention very professional , safety was mandatory, incredibly curtesy.... having said that, ...... all of the business related stuff lol our guide was so knowledgeable and funny and personable and silly and great he was for the most part our first real contact with Mexico. The entire experience was wonderful! Not only was the staff extremely accommodating helping me fix my dates prior to arrival but the guides were amazing! They answered all of our questions about our excursion! The tour was beautiful and I felt completely comfortable during our visit! The next time we visit Mexico I will definitely book are excursion through Absolute Adventure Mexico!!

I can not say enough good things about this company and experience. Our private tour guide for this trip was Juan and he was so friendly and personable! We made it to Tulum before the crowds hit, which was so nice-to experience the beauty of this place without a lot of extra bodies in the way for pictures! It rained on us while we were at Tulum, but this did not deter from it's beauty! Just breathtaking every where you look! Straight after Tulum we went to snorkel with the sea turtles. Even though the water was murkier from the recent rain, we still saw several turtles, squid, and a sting ray! We then had a very delicious lunch and straight on to a site that had two different cenotes. One was lush and green and had very pretty water lilies and fish and the other was more of a cave where we could see people scuba diving. We thoroughly enjoyed every part of this excursion and having a private guide helping to avoid the crowds was worth every penny!

Bonne demi journée tyrolienne et cenote avec Cyril notre guide français. Réservee depuis la France sur leur site claire a répondu à toutes les questions par e-mail. Ce qui était chouette de préparer notre programme pour notre 1er jour. Bon souvenir à la cenote ouverte, super d en profiter sans être dans un grand groupe avec beaucoup de monde vu que c était notre excursion à nous. Cyril était très chouette et on a eu de bons moments et de chouette conseils. Merci Cyril ! Jess et Nico.

From the time we booked to the time we were dropped back off at our resort, nothing but amazement came our way. Claire was amazing with our booking process from the states about a month before our trip and payment process went smoothly using paypal. She always answered every email and question in a timely manner. The customer service is outstanding.... Now on to the adventure. Let me start by saying this was my wife and I's first time to Mexico and the first time ever booking a private guided tour. We chose this option after researching the horror of big group tours and how ripped off you feel at the end. So to no surprise to us Absolute gave us just what we wanted and beyond. The best money I spent in Mexico besides my resort. Miguel was our guide for the day. He is new to the company but It felt like he had been doing this for years. Our driver was Don Manuel (I hope I got that right). By the end of the day we felt like we were riding around Mexico with long lost friends. The adventures were amazing and that's all I'm going to say about that to be honest, only because I feel they were so personal to the wife and I that it would be hard for you to judge your experience off of ours. JUST DO IT you will not be let down. The real conversations we had all day were just as special as the ruins, ceneto, and turtles (which we saw at least 10).... This company is amazing and know how to do it and do it well. There is only one negative thing that happened, I forgot to get a group picture of all of us to remember for ever.

The tour of the Tulum and Cenote with a Mayan lunch was totally magnificent!! Our tour guide Jose Manuel was super cool!! They picked us up write in front of our hotel. They provided water, soda's and beer. I suggest wearing water shoes for the under cave tour. Best experience ever!! We will be back to share this experience with our children.

This was honestly the best experience and so so happy we decided to book a private tour. We unfortunately were there when it was raining but we still had the best time. Our tour guide Manuel was excellent friendly helpful and made this trip amazing. If you’re planning to book a tour go with absolute adventure. We had our van ready to pick us up went at our own pace st the Tulum Ruins and snorkeling also was amazing. After we had lunch in a Mayan restaurant in the jungle the food was amazing. I guess If i just can’t express enough how pleased I was with this. So I highly would book a tour with them again if I were ever to be back in Cancun! So I advice you to do the same too ! Thank you absolute and Manuel for an amazing experience I will never forget.

Our family had a wonderful time swimming with the sea turtles. Along with turtles we were also able to see squid and sting ray. The cenote we swam in was beautiful and not too crowded. After these activities we had a nice lunch. Arturo (our guide) was very helpful and informative. Thanks for a great day!

Our trip was amazing! We worried it was too good to be true having a private tour for the price. IT LIVED UP TO ALL OUR EXPECTATIONS!! Claire, the owner, was easy to work with via text to get this set up as we had trouble with the computer at our resort. Juan and the driver were on time and got us to Coba before the crowds. Juan was fun to be around. Very knowledgeable and easy to talk with about anything and everything. It felt like were were just touring around with a friend, not someone hired to take us. Snorkeling with the turtles and around the reef was beautiful. The equipment they brought was top notch, not worn out and abused like other places have been. Juan took over 50 photos which were sent to me via email and included in the price. Just amazing is all!! I am planning on using Absolute Adventures for all my future excursions to Playa del Carmen. Couldn't have asked for a better day!!

I had forgotten my bug repellent and was bitten by mosquitoes at Tulum and Arturo had one on hand which I was so grateful for! We were able to explore at our own pace and didn’t feel rushed. We also got a dedicated archeological guide at each ruin to help learn about the history of the site and tribe. Arturo had a camera he brought and captured some beautiful pictures and memories for us. The restaurant he took us to for lunch was delicious and fresh. After the ruins, my husband and I wanted to grab some souvenirs, especially some local honey and Arturo made some extra stops on the way back to our resort to accommodate us. We highly recommend Absolute Adventures and would go with them again when we come back to Mexico. Thank you for a wonderful and unforgettable experience!

I'm so glad we booked this experience! They picked us up right on time at our hotel, offered us beverages, transported us everywhere, provided everything we needed, and gave us a great experience. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, professional, and a joy to be around. Claire was very responsive and kind, and answered all our questions before we booked. The cenotes were probably the highlight of the trip for us! We were able to go at our own pace, and we went early in the morning so it wasn't too crowded. Overall this was a great experience, a great value, and I would recommend it to anyone!

This was our second tour with Arturo and he was incredibly Knowles able and friendly. We toured Coba both with Arturo and a private guide who made sure we understood what we were looking at and experiencing. We climbed to the top of one of the temples (which won’t be open much longer) and ride bikes around the ruins. The bike ride was easy and relaxing. We had lunch at a small local restaurant which was also just fantastic . To be clear, it wasn’t fancy or like a resort , but the food was remarkable, the place was clean, and it was nice to be in a quiet place away from tourists. The monkey reserve was a mild “best of adventure tour”. We hiked through the jungle with a local young man as our guide who called out to and showed us spider monkeys. We camped across a lake, rode a short zip line, and then my family rappeled down in to a cenote to swim (I was too heavy for the local boys who pull you back out to lift). I stayed up and chatted with them. I would recommend this tour for people who want to get away from the crowds and experience some of the “adventures” in a wilder setting.

Arturo was a great guide and provided some good knowledge of the area. Spending a little extra on the private trip was the way to go for these excursions. We had the Cenote to ourselves and our own guide for the ruins.
