Absolutely worth it. Our guide Juan was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He helped me get comfortable with snorkeling as I had never done it before. He was so patient and gave excellent directions. By the time the tour was over I was almost a pro! The cenotes we went to were absolutely amazing and the Tulum ruins are a must see! We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would 100% recommend it to anyone! Thanks again, Juan and our driver Omar!
Voir plusAmazing experience! Alex was our guide and provided fantastic historical insight into the history of the Mayans. The Cenote was beautiful and maintained by a fantastic Mayan family. The lunch was delicious and the hand made tortillas were the best we had while on vacation. Arturo was a fantastic driver and got us every where. Definitely ask for Alex and Arturo!

Our tour to Tulum and a Cenotes. Alex, our guide, was amazing with a wealth of knowledge explaining many of the history details and escorted us around Tulum. We chose the underground cave Cenote which was spectacular. When would you get a chance to be in an underground cave with stalagmites. The water was nice and cool and crystal clear. It was an amazing adventure in a nice AC'd van. I would absolutely recommend this company and I would encourage the cave Cenote if you choose this tour type.
Voir plusWhile staying in Cancun, we decided to schedule a private tour to Chichen Itza and a cenote swim. The dates we were interested in weren?t available. I contacted them via email to see if they had any flexibility. They promptly responded and said they could fit us into the schedule. Joshua and our driver Omar picked us up right at 6am to go to Chichen Itza. It takes about 2.5 hours to get there. We arrived just before they opened and we were able to get in line before the crowds came. We were able to get an amazing tour of Chichen Itza With Joshua and he also took great photos of us. Another benefit of doing this private tour is we did not have to make multiple stops to pick up other people from other hotels. We arrived early enough that we were able to take photos without any other people in them, which was really nice. He provided in depth history about the site, culture, and architecture. After the tour, he gave us two different options for cenotes. We arrived early to the cenote which provided us time alone without any crowds. We were also able to get photos of the cenote without people there. Joshua brought us to a lovely Restaurant in Valladolid. We had a delicious lunch together and did some shopping before we started our journey back to Cancun. During transport, we were offered food and beverages as well. Overall, we had an amazing experience with a professional and friendly guide. We feel it was well worth paying a little more for a private tour. I highly recommend Joshua as a tour guide. We will definitely be using Absolute Adventure Mexico again when we are back in Cancun!
Voir plusWhile visiting Playa Del Carmen, my boyfriend and I really wanted to take a trip to the Tulum Ruins. I had come across this company and loved the idea of having a private tour guide. We decided to book Tulum ruins, visiting a cenote, lunch, and snorkeling with sea turtles. We were picked up promptly at 7am from our hotel. Alex was our guide and Rodrigo was our driver. We had about a 45 min drive to the ruins. Alex educated us the whole car ride there, and was so friendly and enthusiastic. We were basically the first ones into the ruins, and had the whole place to ourselves! It is just so stunning in person, and Alex walked us around giving us so much knowledge and history , as well as snapping many photos for us. I highly recommend this part of the tour!! We then decided to visit an underground cenote. Absolutely breathtaking and one of the coolest experiences I've had. Again, it was not crowded at all and we were able to jump in and cool off in the crystal clear fresh water! We then ate lunch at a local restaurant and had yummy tacos and drinks. There was also always cold water in the van for us and a couple sodas. We finished the day with snorkeling with turtles at Akumal beach which looked like a tropical scene out of a movie. Gorgeous! Overall, this tour was the highlight of our trip and we were so glad we ventured out of our hotel for the day to have this experience. I can't thank Alex and Rodrigo enough. We would definitely book with them again and I highly recommend booking directly through them. Easy process and great communication! Thank you Absolute Adventure.
Voir plusAbsolutely thrilled with our experience with Alex and Omar from Absolute Adventure Mexico! From the moment we embarked on our journey through the Mayan Ruins to diving into the crystal-clear waters of a Cenote and swimming with majestic turtles, every moment was seamlessly orchestrated by Alex and expertly navigated by Omar. Their passion for the history and beauty of the region was contagious, and Alex's depth of knowledge added immeasurable value to our adventure. Simone and I couldn't have asked for a more memorable day, and we wholeheartedly recommend Absolute Adventure Mexico to anyone seeking an unforgettable exploration of Mexico's wonders. Thank you, Alex and Omar, for making our experience truly exceptional!

My husband and I were staying in Cancun hotel zone for our honeymoon and we had in our bucket list to visit Chichen-Itza. When we saw how far it was from hotel zone and it was no brainer for us to look for a private tour. Of all the websites we came across in the internet Absolute Adventure Mexico stand-up from the rest. They had the best outline itinerary, we choose Chichen-Itza, cenote, and Valladolid. They didn't have crazy add ons like other website that ended being expensive. Their website was super user-friendly, offering a great value for the cost of the tour. Also, everyones reviews were outstanding. Our private tour started at 6am, which we recommend everyone to do this to beat the crowds and Yucatan heat. They pick-up us at the hotel and we were greeted by Alex our tour guide and Enrique our driver (if you get this two your trip will be a blast) in a spacious mini van. Our first stop was to a convenience store, to grab coffee and croissant (included in your tour). For us this was nice touch since we couldn't have breakfast at the hotel. We had our breakfast on our way to Chichen-Itza, were Alex started to introduce us to Mayan history and language. Alex, is personable, easy to talk with, and so knowledgeable. While Alex and us were chatting, Enrique did the drive and keeping us safe at all times including our belongings. Our second stop was at a pit stop in the highway, clean restrooms with convenience shop. After that we arrive to the majestic Chichen-Itza (approx. 3 hours). Enrique, drop us right in front of the entrance. While we went inside with Alex. Enrique went to look for parking, and keep our goods safe. Meanwhile Alex give us a very knowledgeable tour, and answering all our questions. We learn so much, and were so happy that we got there before any major crowds arrive and it was not hot at all. Alex did not only guide us but also took photos of us and great ones for social media. Once we were done with our tour, Enrique pick us up with snacks and drinks (soda/water) so refreshing after walking. While leaving the parking lot we saw the big buses arrived. After Chichen-Itza, we went to cenote Xkenken. A what a great choice of cenote! Alex provided us with life jackets. I haven't been before in a cenote that I can see the bottom. I saw catfish too! and not crowded at all we had it pretty much for ourselves. Because we could manage our time without having to wait for other people, we could choose to cut the cenote short and leave to Valladolid for lunch and shopping. For lunch we went to Paladar rest., and the food was delicious and safe for turist stomach. We had Cochinita Pibil, rice, blue corn chicken tacos with Agua de Jamaica. After lunch, we went to main downtown Valladolid, very pretty spanish-colonial town. Took photos and shop, and return back to the hotel arriving by 5pm perfect time to get ready for dinner and entertainment. I understand not everyone can afford to pay a private tour. But, If you can afford it please do it. You will not regretted, most of the other big tour bus companies hire lower tier guides. With Absolute Adventure Mexico, they hire license guides that went through rigorous education in history, language but most importantly CPR which is very important in case of emergency. Private tours, is away to avoid wasting your precious vacation time and having the best quality time with your love ones by really getting immerse in Mexican culture.

Juan (Jj) was one of the best tour leaders ever. Didnt drown us in dates and ancient peoples names - painted the picture of what life in tulum was like.
Voir plusA great experience from start to finish, pick up was prompt and transportation comfortable, stopping for comfort breaks and refreshments. The guide from Chris was very comprehensive, informative and interesting. I would recommend this to anyone. Thanks for a great trip.

Great tour with friendly, knowledgeable guide.
Voir plusAlejandro was an excellent tour guide - friendly & knowledgeable. He used our time efficiently, including the van ride from our hotel to the Tulum ruins. He purchased our tickets in advance so no time wasted waiting in line.
Voir plusArturo was an amazing cenote guide! He took our group of 7 though dos ojos and nicte ha and we loved both cenotes so much. Dos ojos is more of a covered cave cenote and nicte ha was open with beautiful lilipads and more fish. Arturo was very knowledgeable and patient with our group wanting to spend more time at each one. We had a 10/10 experience and would recommend this service to anyone!!
Voir plusThis was a great way to see multiple sights in one day! We got to the ruins early before the heat and crowds. We had just enough time to hear the history and see the sights before we were on to the next stop. The cenote was small and quant with only a few groups of people so we weren?t crowded. It was beautiful. I personally would?ve enjoyed a little more time here but we had to stay on schedule. Lunch at the Mayan restaurant was delicious! Snorkeling with the turtles and fishies was so fun. We got to see some coral too! All of our guides were friendly and knowledgeable. I?m bad with names so I think Arturo was our driver, Enrique was our guide, and maybe Mateo was our snorkeling guide. Thanks again for providing us with a fun and eventful day!
Voir plusWe recently did a private tour of the Dos Ojos cenotes through Absolute Adventure! Pick-up was seamless at our resort and we headed off in a clean, private van. Alex was our guide, he was awesome!! He told us all about the history of the cenotes, answered all of our questions and overall was a fantastic guide. Definitely recommend!
Voir plusThis was a great tour. It was especially nice to arrive at the Tulum ruins earlier than the crowds. We had a choice of cenotes and the one we chose was fanastic. Our guide Arturo was very knowledgeable. We did do a swim with turtles. This was a little busy for our liking with lots of people crowding the turtles. Didn?t stay at that stop long. Oh and the restaurant stop was really good.
Voir plusAmazing tour of Dos Ojos Cenote We had a very good time. Dos Ojos Cenote is very beautiful and our private guide Alejandro is very knowledgeable about the area and Mayan culture. The food at the restaurant was incredible.
Voir plusOur guide Arturo was particularly nice. He was able to describe and show us lots of great things in the cenote. The tequila tasting was particularly good. Very informative and we had a lot of fun. Thank you very much. We would love to go again. An absolute recommendation.

Very responsive to my multiple questions I had in the days before the tour. Everything was exactly as advertised. I highly recommend this company.
Voir plusIncredible experience! Arturo was our tour guide and he made the experience unforgettable! He gave us different options for Cenotes and made tequila tasting fun! They were on time, organized, and knowledgeable.
Voir plusWonderful coba tour - well done! FABULOUS coba tour and cenote swim with Joshua and Arturo. Joshua is a wonderful storyteller, making Mayan history interesting and fun. Both guides were extremely nice and helpful throughout the tour. Happy to see the countryside a bit and small towns as we drove, and Mayan jungle up close on our bike rides at coba, too. We were a big group of 29, here in riviera maya for my son?s wedding - everyone enjoyed this tour! The cenote was amazing too, and so refreshing, swimming in the cool waters in a cave on a hot sunny day. Highly recommend! Note: a fair amount of walking at coba and a lot of slippery stairs for the cenote. Not the easiest tour for those with mobility challenges.
Voir plusWe spent the day with Arturo, who was fantastic! The 8 passenger van arrived right on time and we were greeted with a smile. They were incredibly accommodating and considerate of any needs we had. Arturo was patient and informative as we toured the ruins in Tulum. Afterwards we made our way to a Cenote, we were lucky as there was not another person there. We have two small children (5 and 7) and Arturo was incredibly helpful and encouraging with them. We had an incredible lunch and wrapped the day swimming with turtles. We would highly recommend this group to guide you on any adventure. Thank you for making the day with our family so memorable!
Voir plusJoshua gave us a fabulous tour of two cenotes with a great lunch afterwards. He is so knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend!
Voir plusArturo was amazing! Informative, great with kids and just fun and kind. Lunch was fantastic too! I would go again next visit.

Would highly recommend! Prompt, courteous service. Guide Juan & driver Omar were the best. Juan was extremely knowledgeable. Lunch was amazing!! All in all a wonderful day. Thank you so much.
Voir plusThis trip was everything we could have asked for and more. Our first stop was the Tulum ruins which was not just beautiful and well maintained, but the historical perspective given by our guide Joshua was amazing and informative. I did not expect to learn so much about the area, development, and history! Our next stop was Akumel where Joshua obtained a water guide to take us snorkeling to see some turtles. We were informed that the turtles are in freedom so it is not guaranteed however they usually do see turtles. We saw about 5 beautiful turtles, it wasn?t overly crowded at all, and our guide took us further out to the coral reef which was one of the nicest reefs we had seen in a while. With all the storms and wreckage that has really diminished the existence of many reefs, it was amazing to see this small area of beauty! It was even more amazing that our guide, Alex, offered to take us out further to see the reef! I saw amazing because he had three kids (8-9) in tow that he pulled on a ring the entire tour. That was tremendously appreciated. After the beach we walked over to a quaint restaurant that made you feel as though you were truly in Mexico and not just as some fast food place or touristy place. I wish I could recall the name. This tour also include our choice of tacos or quesadilla and neither disappointed! We opted to indulge in some margaritas and they were really amazing! Highly recommend the passion fruit margarita! The portions also really large! Beyond our expectation! Joshua and our driver, Rodrigo, took great care and time with us and literally took care of everything. We were clearly in great and informative hands. It was wonderful to also get to learn more about Joshua and his deep interest in the historical and marine perspectives! I also need to add that this was a private tour- our own van, our own driver and tour guide that was with us most of the time (just not in the water) and we were able to select our departure time from the hotel. They recommend 7am but we chose 730am and it was perfect for us and not so hot yet in Tulum. We highly recommend this trip ?Tulum, Turtles, and Tacos? and will definitely use the company again when we are back!
Voir plusThe most favorite part of our trip!!!!!!! Don?t hesitate, book it! The Mayan experience AND Cenotes!!!!! Incredible! And our guide Joshua made it so special!!!! Thank you so much.
Voir plusBest part of our trip!!!! 6 of us, we are parents with our adult kids and their significant others. Absolutely LOVED our guide Joshua. A private comfortable air conditioned van picked us up and gave us the most wonderful tour through Coba. Bikes were so much fun and Joshua had so much fascinating information. Cenotes were unbelievable, same with the lunch. Dont think twice, just book it!!!!!! I can?t imagine leaving Mexico without experiencing this!!!!! Thank you Joshua, so very much!!!!!!
Voir plusAlex was awesome. Great knowledge of all things Mayan. He's very personable and has an obvious passion for his work. Enrique was also great and I felt very comfortable.
Voir plusWe had a really wonderful day with Alex the guide and Omar the driver! We toured the Tulum ruins where Alex gave us many interesting details and was full of knowledge to share. We swam in an underground cenote which was beautiful!! We had a great lunch and finally, swam with sea turtles, sting rays, fish and a sea snake in the ocean. The entire time, Alex was attentive to our comfort and even let us stop for a breakfast snack since it had been too early at our hotel to eat before the tour. We loved the day!! Thank you Alex and Omar. Great work ____
Voir plusThank you, Juan and Enrique!! This was the best trip ever!
Voir plusJuan, our guide, was welcoming knowledgeable and accommodating. I highly recommend getting a private tour because I saw other tours getting cooked in the sun but Juan made sure we were walking through the sun to stop in the shade for pictures and explanations. The area of ruins is larger than pictures would have you believe and took about 90 minutes to get all the way around. We got out of the sun unscathed and we were taken to Playa Akumal to swim with sea turtles and other sea creatures. It was magical and my 10 year old and 12 year old absolutely loved seeing the turtles in their natural habitat. After, we got lunch at a nearby restaurant about 3 minutes up the road. The food was good and Juan knew the menu pretty well to suggest his favorites. We had been picked up outside our hotel in Playa del Carmen at 7 and were back by 1:30-2:00 pm. The perfect length of tour for our family. BOOK IT!
Voir plusWe had a marvelous private tour of Chichen Itza with Chris as our guide and Omar as our driver. It was wonderful! They picked us up at 6 AM at our hotel in Playa del Carmen for the 2+ hour drive to Chichen Itza, which was perfect, because we arrived before the site opened and were the first people to enter the site. We were able to take photos before others arrived, so our pics are pristine! There were no crowds at all while we were there touring, although when we left, the big tour buses were arriving, so the timing was perfect! Chris was a wonderful guide, Omar a great driver, and the communication as we were booking the tour was fast and efficient! We love that they were able to do a customized private tour -- that's the way to go! We would absolutely tour with them again!
Voir plusAbsolutely a great experience! I had a large group of 24. Our tour guide, Arturo, and drivers picked us up at the hotel. The tour through the Mayan Ruins in Tulum was great. Arturo was very knowledgeable. The lunch that was provided after was delicious. Orders were taken before we left the ruins, so we didn't wait long to eat. The tequila tasting was so much fun.

Voir plusTour of Chich?n Itz? was super cool. Joshua was an awesome tour guide he was super knowledgeable and funny. Cenote was refreshing and lunch was super good.
Voir plusIncredible experience with cenotes/snorkeling! the water was a great temperature and our guide was awesome - very safe and don?t need to be a strong swimmer to have fun. The cave was great to see and snorkeling made it possible to explore so much of the cave. It was a total of 2 hours and then lunch was really great - an authentic Mexican meal at the end after swimming.
